About FFDM

The Fédération Française de Détection de Métaux (FFDM) is a French federation representing the community of metal detecting hobbyists in France. It works to have recreational metal detection recognized as a cultural, eco-responsible, recreational, and family activity, and to establish a dedicated status that allows practitioners to declare objects of historical and archaeological interest.
