FERNCROFT COUNTRY CLUB Review

Organized a corporate golf tournament in 2016 with the Ferncroft Country club and we were very pleased with our event. The greens and club are perfect and we heard rave reviews. Pete D. is very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

Played an invitational. Rain early made for very wet conditions.

Went to inquire about a Wedding Package. The property is absolutely beautiful. The banquet room is awesome and the views are amazing.

Great course, hard enough to be fun multiple times, but easy enough to not get discouraged. Find a member and get out there. Fast rounds, only 3-4 hours for 18 on average.

Beautiful golf course, greens are very fast. Course is kept in great shape. Club house is well maintained with all amenities you would expect.

We held the 85th annual meeting for the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce in the new ballroom for 200 people. We have heard nothing but positive comments on the location, room, and food from all who attended. The pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection. All of the staff both before & during the event were great, too. Only wish it wasn't November so we could have used it the outside deck!

Very exclusive club. Not welcoming at all. Rude and wouldn't allow wedding guests to have a drink in their bar because they are Not members. Very disappointing.

I have always been intimidated by golf until now. I took a few lessons but it never helped develop my game to a level I felt comfortable both professionally and personally. I ve missed out on golf tournaments, business golf and social golf with friends. Luckily I was introduce to Ferncroft CC - Academy Golf membership and my experience has been awesome. I participate in 2 golf clinics per week, receive 2 private lessons, can practice between clinics on the driving range and Par 3 course and the pace of the program/instructors are top notch. In addition to learning the game my membership allows me to experience the benefits of a private club membership (pool, tennis, fitness center, dining) at a price point not out of reach which surprised me and has exceeded my expectations. Thank you Kevin F., Pete D. and the staff at FCC.

Great staff!! Thanks Tom!!! Great golf course!! Well maintained!! Relatively short but with Challenging greens keep your palms sweaty!! Excellent practice range as well. It holds reputation of being played US WOMAN s OPEN. Hope to see them again soon.

We had our wedding reception there in August 2016. The staff was amazing. They were very pleasant. We had no complaints from our guests. Kim and Alex were superb and The Ferncroft team worked with us. The food was delicious and presentation was perfect. I am very glad that I chose Ferncroft to have my wedding reception there... Money well spent. Future Brides and Grooms, Please check them out. You will not regret it...

I was here for a fundraiser, and it is a very nice facility for functions. People played golf all day, and then went into the function hall right after. I did not play golf, but was there for the event in the hall. The staff was very friendly and even brought down a heavy box for one of the attendees at the end of the night. The food was amazing - but not sure if it was catered by an outside catering company.

Great place! Big golf course and not crowded. Great golf pro there teaches golf.

I m a member at ferncroft, the course is fantastic. The pool and tennis area is a lot of fun. And the par 3 and driving range are a great spot to warm up your swing. The only thing I recommend to the people that run it is to make it more clear on their website, when the coarse is open. I find myself often wanting to go, but being frightened that I ll walk down to find that there is a tournament going on or that the driving range is just closed. I m sure I m just not reading my emails, but I still think a calendar could be added to their website.

I attended a Chamber of Commerce networking event here on June 30 with 200+ people. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and taken care of throughout the evening by the attentive staff. The big hit of the night was the new roof deck lounge with tremendous views overlooking the 18th hole. Great food, drink and people!

Bait and switch had a tournament and sent us out knowing we would get 1 home in

My company had a retirement party Saturday on the rooftop, Matt was our bartender, he was amazing such a great young guy we had a great time! Thank you all for the fun day

We were invited by some family who are also members and the food and staff were amazing. We couldnt believe how much food came out on our plates and how tasty it all was.

The Ferncroft was a beautiful setting for our out of town wedding. But the real star of the venue is Donna. Donna played planner, designer, coordinator, and the kindest friend through the entire process. She made sure every detail was handled from the first, incredibly detailed inquiry email to the follow up email with a special picture of my daughter and nephew. Our guests had, and still have, glowing reviews of her staff, the room set up, the outrageously good food, and ceremony and reception flow, and especially the kindness she showed to EVERY guest. Donna and her staff were accommodating, flexible, and generous were their time and expertise. There were plenty of beautiful locations for photos and the ceremony. Every single detail was perfectly mastered. The entire staff looked calm and relaxed. There was never a moment of panic or rushing. Donna seemed to be in every place, at every moment. My husband and I snuck away immediately after the ceremony to share a plate of hors d oeuvres in the grooms suite (I can t recommend this enough. Do this! Take 5 minutes to sit in the quiet and relax together.) At one point during outdoor pictures I commented to my daughter, I didn t eat enough. BAM! Food. Hors d oeuvres on a plate, with Donna holding a napkin. She took care of everything! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for putting together a magical experience!

I went there for a murder mystery show that someone put on to raise funds for the Woburn Library. The food was excellent and the function hall was very big. Great place for functions of any kind. Plenty of parking also.
