If you care about your loved ones, DON T bring them to the Emergency Room in this Hospital. I attend a local college in Utica and a friend of mine with CHS was extremely sick this morning and had to get to the closest Hospital as soon as possible. I rushed her to Faxton because it seemed competent enough from the outside, but god in heaven was I wrong. She d been throwing up during the 8 minute car ride there, and by the time we got there she was white as a ghost and could barely talk. Did the receptionist, or security care? Nope. They continued to ask her for her information in a monotone voice while she could barely keep her head up in the wheelchair and eventually asked us to wheel her into a corner to wait for a triage nurse to see her in an hour. My friend kept saying, Please, please help me. I need [this medication]. Please hurry. Initially I thought that their calm was from years of experience, not from absolute indifference. It wasn t until my friend actually blacked out, slid out of the wheelchair, threw up, and another patient screamed did anyone get her any help and even then it took another two hours before the medicine she needed was given. Literally what the hell is going on in this Hospital...

I was rushed to st.lukes in an ambulance about 5 days ago I was put into ICU. I would just like to commend the staff that took care of me during that time. They have been very caring and attentive. My favorite nurse is a night nurse named Kerri who normally works over night in the peds unit during recovery I was put there to continue my steroids. That woman is heaven sent. She cares about everything about u. I work up having a panic attack and she rushed right in to hug me and tell me I'm ok. She constantly checked on me to make sure I was getting the best care. When she comes in for her shift she seen I was still here and said hey girl and sat down in the chair next to me and asked me how the day went. Like a best friend I never knew I had. I hope this reaches her and she gets tough see what an impact she has made on me. The woman is literally heaven sent and so glad she was apart of my recovery. Thank you st.lukes for taking the absolute best care of me. I have never felt more taken care of in a medical place in my life. With all the covid and the rough year they have had I believe they need a shout out.

I had a standard Laminectomy performed here in mid September by Dr. Qandah (he s from his own practice separate from this review) and I can t thank the St. Luke s staff that was there with me enough. I was treated with nothing but kindness and compassion. I don t like to post people s names, but I have to give a shout out to the awesome gentleman that transported me to anesthesia. We had such a thoughtful and reassuring conversation that it took the edge off my fears. Another big shoutout to the RN that was assigned to me for always answering my questions about my meds fully. And to the nurses that discharged me at night for being so patient and sweet. Thank you thank you thank you.

My initial care at St. Lukes Hospital was suburb before going into surgery. The nurses were fantastic during my recovery room. The second and third day while I was there was much less than expected. The RN in charge of my care was terrible and did not listen to me and did not do any communication as far as what I would expect; especially when I had a drain coming out of my back. No communication whatsoever. I was lucky to see her at all while I was there and it seemed she was flirting with the patient in the next room for at least 20 minutes. She spent at least 5 minutes taking care of me. I am 76 years old and that should be no excuse for ignoring me. My las day I had another RN, thank God and she was terrific. Totally let down with the care I expected!!!!!

I was treated at the emergency last evening. Dr. D. Kennedy and the staff of nurses provided excellent care! They ran extensive tests to determine the cause of my issue and the diagnosis was arrived at quickly. Dr. Kennedy explained the situation and the options I had for additional health care. He called my health specialist and explained my condition which allowed me to be seen by my doctor for followup the next day. He is very patient, kind and knowledgeable and your in good hands when he treats you. All of this took place around 2:30 in the morning and the staff was energetic and alert. In Good Health!

I had a Covid test today at St. Luke's hospital and it was the worst experience I've had in my life. I get tested 1 a week at my job so I know how the test is done. I personally believe the doctor who performed the test did her best to cause me as much pain as she could. She held the test swab in with her thumb and index fingers only and shoved it up my nose as hard as she could, both sides. If that wasn't bad enough I was the 2nd person they called in; while sitting there answer questions a man walked in and told the tech he was calling extra security down because there were about 19 cars out there and the people were mad. When I came out the trailer the looks I received were full of pure hatred. I would never go back nor would I ever refer anyone to that hospital again.
