Fawcett memorial hospital Review

My hospital visit was for 17 days for covid. I felt the care I had on the 3rd floor from the doctors, to the nurses, to the nurse assistant to the food service was absolutely awesome. The doctors explained what there role was in my care and explained how I was going to get better. The nurses were very informative talked to me about my care and checked on me all the time to be sure I was comfortable. The nurse assistants were attentive and helped me stay positive. The respiratory therapists were great. Kept me up to date on my progress. I had the best care at Fawcett Hospital

I was greeted kindly and efficiently placed in the waiting area is the paperwork I needed to complete. After that, I was quickly escorted to my procedure. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the doctors was just great.

Words are not enough about the care of all the nurses , emergency room care Nurses housekeeping everyone that worked on me, the caring doctors, the blood work and putting in of ports were not pleasant , but overall everyone was very gentle, they worked and worked until it was done, of course I am afraid of needles!!
Over all so far I give this hospital a Big Big 10.

I was treated with respect the moment I arrived. Friendly, nice, understanding people & staff!!! Every part of the hospital I was in was VERY clean!! This is THE hospital for me!!!

I had spine surgery, C 6-7, at Faucet's Memorial Hospital orthopedic and spine unit by Dr. Getter.
From pre-op to discharge I had the best care anyone can expect.
The entire unit is immaculately clean. The nurses and doctors go out of their way to ensure the patient is comfortable and well taken care of.
Dr. Getter enjoys a well earned reputation among everyone I spoke to including nurses and doctors.
I highly recommend both Faucet and Dr. Getter.

Oh yeah! The food was delicious.

My care at Fossett was very good.. the nurses and staff were very concerned and did their best to get me well and on my way.

Was able to get blood drawn even though I missed the outpatient appointment timeframe by over an hour. Very pleasant registration clerk and also lab tech!

All of the nurses were absolutely amazing. I was kept up to date on eveything going on from medications to oxygen levels. For everything they had to do it never seemed like the nurses were in a bad mood. Always smiling and joking. It really helped my spirits. I had a regular set of nurses so I could count on the same treatment everyday. Having felt like I was gonna die when I arrived I felt so much better going home after having double lung pneumonia. They helped with all aspects of transitioning back home and my medications. My only complaint was my IV placement but that was just an inconvenience. Blood draws were rough but quick. I was happily surprised with my unwanted visit.

The care was good,they started tests right away I was positive for covid so it didn't take long for them to give me the antibody treatment,the treatment only took about 20minutes and then keep you for about an hour to make sure you do get any side effects. After about 30minutes I could feel it working in me.
