Ghetto environment .Piss poor trained staff. Went there last night 11/23 .They made my husband take off his button up flannel because it was red and blue. Evidently, a shooting took place right at front door of bar on thanksgiving. That should have been our Q to leave but instead we complied and proceeded to pay to enter .After being at the bar for 2 hours ordering food and drinks, the same exact security guard that dress coded him made his way to where my group was sitting at bar by the restrooms and he told my husband to take his hat off. We asked why? and he said it was a new dress code. And we asked if that were the case, why didn't he say that when he dress coded his flannel 2 hours prior to arriving..the security guard began to insult and my ridicule my husband about his balding head and said just take your hat off after my man told him he is balding from a skin condition . It was like he targeted him. He literally had to walk past at least 7 other men, including 2 of their staff that also had on hats to get to husband. My husband refused to take off his hat, especially since he wasn't the only person with a hat on. I went to the bathroom and when I came back there was an entire swat team there for him . a literal swat team .Apparently security called the police and said his version of what happened, failing to mention that he had dress coded him before ever paying to enter and never mention hats being a problem If what he said were facts, he would've said something about the hat when he said something about the flannel .and not once were we asked to leave .Never given the opportunity to leave .Rather we were ambushed over a hat!!! I think this place shouldn't be open. After the shooting, there should've been a employee meeting where rules and regulations were updated PUT IN WRITING AND IMPLEMENTED AFTER REOPENING. making up rules as you go is unfair .We spent our money there and just wanted go have a good fun time and instead we were treated unjustly and have been falsely accused . I think the owner needs to reevaluate how they are running this place. A place that is breeding grounds for crime. Dirty bathroom and poorly trained staff

Very good food, the Sirloin tips, Salads and burgers were awesome. Our waiter Ian was absolutely awesome. We will be back, good Lord willing.

My husband and I were looking for a good BLT sandwich so Hubby googled "BLT in Stockton ". Fat's Grill & Bar came up. We decided to try it. The BLT far surpassed our expectations! Good does not do this sandwich justice! Excellent is a far better description of this sandwich which is served with a choice of sides. We chose onion rings. Again, we were pleasantly surprised with very tasty onion rings that were perfectly fried -- not soggy and not dripping grease.
The eating area was very clean; the restroom was clean; and the background music was at a level where people could carry on a conversation.
We will definitely patronize this eatery again.

I did not wonder why this place has only 3 Stars... I rated this place at 1 star... If there is a 1/2 star, I probably give that to them as well. I apologize for being such an angry troll the moment I am typing this up. The service was okay. At first, the girl seemed to be busy, but she was still trying to get to your table to serve you. However, at the end, when the bills come out... I was charged regular price for happy hour... Her comment was, "Oh, did you come in at 6:59PM?" And she tried to act like it was all my fault that I came in late. At the very least, she could have done me a great service by saying, "It is not happy hour anymore, would you still want to order?" It does not matter if I step foot in the door at 6:59, and give my order at 6:59:59... It is still before 7PM which is the end of your happy hour... I placed my order at 6:53PM because I was watching my time. I had to be somewhere else, so I paid close attention to the time. It did not matter when you put them into the computer, but my order was placed at 6:53PM, then it is still happy hour. I will never come back to this place again. I am from out of town. I just came by to visit. My cousin was in the bar and told me to come by for happy hour. Super disappointed. I turned into an angry troll. My apology to the readers.

Always have great food and good service. Nice bar and grill joint. Has plenty of tables and good environment. Has a pool table and music for some enjoyable entertainment. Great place to hang out at

I love Fats!! You get a regular restaurant with a great happy hour selection by day and a night club experience at night. And a sports bar during the games. (they show everything and have like 100 tvs!) When there are specials which are pretty much every night, the deals are great. The food is all really fresh and seriously underrated. Football games are super fun at this spot too. The service is as good as it can be but sometimes there's a lot of people in there so the wait is just a little longer. Which I totally understand but clearly some people don't get that. Much better than other bars in town that take forever to get a drink. Check it out for yourself! Maybe I'll see you there!

I had fun painting with my besties. Best birthday night out by far. Great atmosphere, love the instructor, he was awesome and full of energy. He even gave me a painting as a gift, what a cool guy. Anyone interested in having an blast with friends, family, or just a couples night out, I highly recommended this place. The waitress did over charge for our (happy hour) drinks but apologized and gave us the difference back without any problems.

Great food and service was great. Went with family and friends had a great time

Great venue. Excellent service. The bar staff, and bouncers all have excellent personalities and are great people. However the music has issues. The music was terrible. Karaoke night, and the between karaoke sets just drove people out of the bar. Do a little less local Thug, and a little more R&B, house, or hip hop, and I guarantee that place will be full every night of the week.

My Wife and I have always enjoyed the food here. Pizza, wings, burgers, salads, and everything we've had here was really good. I definitely recommend Fat's.
