Farmway is a unique store just off Exit 16 in Bradford VT. This store has clearly grown over time. You can see it as you enter the worn and rustic entrance and head deep into the store where the surroundings become more modern and rooms were clearly added on. The feeling is like traveling a long tunnel filled with goods ranging from dog food to high tech clothing.

The assortment of goods is extensive. Shoes and boots by all the big names, snow shoes, Carhartt, ski wear, jeans, hunting and hiking supplies. And if you need it equestrian apparel, saddle and tack.

Really there is something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and a large clearance space upstairs always offers a bargain. Some staff are clearly on loss prevention patrol but most are helpful and ready to help you fi d what you are after.

Even if you aren't looking for something specific, I think it's well worth the very short drive off the highway to experience it.

Great store, plenty of merchandise.

Great store, plenty of merchandise.

Horrible customer service.
I purchased a quite expensive pair of shoes here and they began to fall apart within 6 months of use (sloes detaching and stitching coming out). The refused to stand behind their product after convincing me what a great shoe it was.

Susan in the shoe department was very rude.

Farm-Way is incredible! They have everything that you might be looking for - - and many things that you didn't know you needed until you got there and saw it! We live in Northern Vermont - so it is a Trek - but once a spring at a near By Farm Auction - - my brother makes the journey and gets things that he needs - - the Carhardt and other heavy duty clothing that farmers need - as well as good work and hiking boots are high on our list. Although these things are expensive - Farm-Way often has a number of items discounted which are the ones we hunt for!

The place is huge!!! In the shoe department you can find everything fro work and hiking boots, to Birkenstocks and flip flops. Rooms and rooms of some of the top good out door brands of winter coats, spring and fall coats, pants, shorts, socks! hats and head gear like Buffs, - good winter wear to be layered including thermal. Work gloves and riding boots - - if you are looking for clothing for your needs - plan to spend time here.

AND they have a full range of pet supplies, farm feed, fencing - as well as birdfeeders and houses.

Be sure to visit the out lying houses that have out door furniture and inside everything from Vera Bradley and other designer purses/bags, scented candles, wind chimes, Kitchenwares and gadgets, greeting cards, rugs and decorations.

They also have cheese, Maple Syrup and other good things!!!!

When my brother or I have had trouble with shoes or other items we have bought- the friendly staff has worked with us by phone and always come up with solutions - - they take returns by mail.

We look at going to Farm-Way as a yearly event - and our friends who come up from Massachusetts, Connecticut, etc - who need things - or not - we suggest they go to the store and spend some time! Its a great place!

Vera Bradley. Horse tack, cowboy hats, hiking boots, work boots, snow boots, riding boots, birkenstocks, chacos and flipflops, winter hats, maple syrup, work gloves in women's small, winter coats, skis, Adirondack chairs, linens, animal feed, Le Creuset, kitchenware, waders, bait and tackle, scented candles, tools, jewellery, pet supplies, birdfeeders, children's clothes, ten thousand different kinds of socks, greeting cards, Carhartt, indoor and outdoor furniture, rugs, decor, Yetis. Every time I visit the store I find something new has been added. I admit it, I love shopping but am disappointed by the choices here in Vermont, doing a lot of my shopping for clothes in major cities where there are is more variety. However, a trip to Farm-Way is like dropping into a dozen or more boutique shops all wrapped up in one. It is more than shopping, it is an event, a place you can spend a couple hours and not even start to explore everything the store has to offer. Outdoor clothing, shoes, boots, gifts, fencing, jewelry and the list goes on and on. If you are truly looking for something different, a way to spend part of the day not only shopping but browsing, this is the store. The staff is friendly, it is one of Vermont's hidden gems.

There was an item marked down and when I went to pay for it they would not give me the sale price because they said it was marked wrong. In all my years of shopping, the marked price is what you pay. Other than that the place is huge.

I've been coming here since I was a little kid and they always have been the most accommodating. Whether it's the donuts and lemonade or cheese and crackers they always go above and beyond. I've never been able to find lower prices on north face or Patagonia than here. I will always come back

I love this store. If you want good, solid outdoor clothing, boots, hats, gloves or equipment this is the store. Filson, Johnson Woolen Mills, Columbia, North Face and Carhartt are just a few of the name brands found here. A full section of dog supplies, home goods and kitchen goods are in a separate building. Store is usually busy but worth going to.

I went to Farmway on November 28. My ankle was hurting quite a bit so I sat in the nearest chair. It was about 30 feet from the cashier. I have a Farmway gift card, so I asked the cashier if it was still good. I spoke a little louder so the cashier could hear me. And I think she spoke louder so I could hear her from 30 feet away. I later learned that someone from the store complained that i was shouting or yelling or something like that. (Maybe he or she didn t know about my ankle.)

This is a great store that has given the local area something to take interest in.
They have huge variety in all kinds of clothing, foot wear and furniture for everyone and all kinds of budgets.
Ive been to this store many times before and they are always trying to make it better than it was before.
They are solor powered and always give back to the surrounding community.

Definitely has changed over the years from when is was a simple grain and clothing store in the back. Still the same charm just a little harder to locate things at times as it is usually busy.

I didn't know what to expect but it seems more hyped up than anything else. I wasn't overly impressed by the prices other than the items that had been discontinued or were out of season. I'm glad I can say I've been there but most of the items you can but for less online.

I ve loved this store since I was a kid! Even though I m no longer a local, every trip to Vermont involves a trek to Farm-Way. Best boot selection I ve seen anywhere, and they have literally anything you d need for any outdoor activities... plus a whole lot of other stuff. Smartwool, Sorel, Barbour, on and on and on. (This place is ENORMOUS.) Staff is wonderful, prices are competitive, and it s a Vermont store that isn t a big chain. Go! You won t regret it. (And make sure you buy a couple of Red Kite caramels at the register on your way out, they re amazing.)

Nicely renovated for lots more space. Interesting mix of farm supplies and yuppie supplies. Seems to be trending toward the later though, following Vermont demographic trends I suppose. Farmers probably don't buy stand up paddle boards and Patagonia clothing ...
