Farmstead Restaurant Review

Food was good, atmosphere was lovely, staff was very nice and helpful.

Very good breakfast buffet. Prices have gone up though. Still worth going.

My son and I stopped to eat here while visiting the area with friends. This restaurant has an open dining room with plenty of seating, but it gets busy here quick as you will see once you've been seated. They have a very nice buffet set up with anything from mashed potatoes and stuffing to broasted or fried chicken and all the salad fixings plus some deserts. You may very well be seated near the local folk whether they are Amish or Mennonite, this local eats will not disappoint. If you have a larger group of people they will accommodate you as quickly as they can. Don't forget to pick up a homemade pie or some of the other fresh made goodies they have. I will definitely be going back there sometime soon.

Absolutely fantastic place to dine. The all you can eat buffet is the greatest. The management, staff, everyone was so friendly. The restaurant was neat, clean, well organized. The food was fabulous! Great for all ages.

We visited for lunch. I had a Manhattan, which is a warm sandwich covered in gravy along with mashed potatoes. I had mine with meatloaf, you have other options. It was amazingly tasty and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals, homemade food is great!
We loved it so much we stopped back for dinner, and it was just as good. Our waitress was great.
I would love to have a restaurant like this where we live.

Cold meatloaf, noodles were poor, mashed potatoes were good. Service was average, another place that lives off ignorant tourists.

Visited Berlin area today. Some of the restaurants offer take out. Stopped at Farmstead to see about take out. Met employee Nancy in parking lot as she was going to work. She explained the whole process of ordering. She brought us out a special menu. We placed our order and in less than 15 minutes later. She brought us out an awesome meal.

The food was delicious. The mashed potatoes are homemade. It was really nice to be able to go to a buffet again.

If you leave hungry that is your own fault. This is a great family style atmosphere with a buffet or menu option. Good food and nice people working there. My Family and don't skip a chance to stop here when in the area. I Highly recommend this restaurant.

Ok I thought the food would be really good because ya know it's made by amish. Wrong. It's decent home comfort food but know different than any other buffet restaurant you could get anywhere and it's a little pricey.

Great food, atmosphere, food outstanding especially their buffet. Save room for pie , good enough to take one home with you. Best if you go before the lunch rush , or wait and go after. Worth the wait.

The staff and the rolls are all that get stars. Staff was friendly and rolls were bomb as heck. I m not sure if I just went in with high expectations but I had always heard such great things and walked out incredibly disappointed. If I wanted instant mashed potatoes and boxed stuffing I would have saved some money and went to the golden trough.

My husband and I stopped today for lunch. Food and service was great. It was our first time at a buffet since Covid, so I was not at all upset that the employee by the buffet asked me to either use a glove or hand sanitize. What we were very disappointed in were the amount of people going up to the buffet without wearing masks.

We go eat at this resturant every time we go to visit the Amish Country. Best friend chicken in town.

The food was good, but waiting for a table was extremely uncomfortable. I understand that these Amish style restaurants can get and stay busy, but a larger waiting area would go a long way in making the wait better.

If you are visiting Amish country this place is a good choice for Dinner. Great variety of food and great taste. Good service as well.
