Farmstead Restaurant Review

Instant mashed potatoes were not my favorite, and the store food was a little bit pricey.

It's the same as all the other Der Dutchman's. If you have been to any of them, this is the same. Buffet is good.

The animals are so friendly ! The staff treat you like family ! Will be going again ! Great for all ages !

Good food and they had all the covid protocols in place. They were busy and buffet line was long, while we were in line they cleaned our table. They did resit us.

the fried chicken on the buffet was over cooked. salad bar was ok....had better.

The buffet had a fair selection of good food. The boasted chicken and the pecan pie were good.

Was just ok, I got the roast beef manhattan. My food was barely warm and the mashed potatoes never have any flavor what so ever. The side salad was not good and the eggs on it tasted rubbery. Not as good as it used to be.

Great food as usual, Covid has taken German chocolate pie off the menu, so sad

Very good food!! Why 3 stars is that we ordered the buffet and there were a lot of things empty,. Also kinda pricey, $2.93 for a cup of coffee.

Order from a menu or order the salad or buffet bar and enjoy some of Amish Country's best cooking. They have sooo many items to create a salad that you just can't have a little of each item on one salad plate .... it just won't fit and one person couldn't eat it all at one sitting if it did fit ... LOL

They have a top notch salad bar, it's probably the main reason my wife and I visit the restaurant. The Amish style beets are delicious!

Usually the food is pretty good but the last time I ate there the burgers made me sick.

During a weekend in Amish country we stopped by this buffet for dinner. All of the food was excellent, the fried chicken was tender and tasty, the mashed potatoes were like grandma used to make, and all the trimmings were there. Our daughter ordered ham from the kids menu and it was disappointing, dry and a small portion. Our waitress Erica was attentive and offered to bring something else but a chicken leg from the buffet was an easier solution. All in all we enjoyed our meal and the service.

Amazingly delicious Amish food buffet. Fresh, clean, well-kept, and reasonable. You don't want to miss it.

There was a long line but it moved fast. The food and service was worth the weight.

I love there dinner buffet, but my all time favorite is there breakfast buffet. Such great service too

It's ok, been there twice now. Highly doubt I'll ever go back again. It's super expensive for the type of food. My son's little pot pie was $10 and a pop and pie brought his lunch to $17. That's a little excessive for lunch. I got a burger last time (that was $10 too) it was gross! Oh so gross. And our food was running late which was seriously fine we were in no hurry but it was so obvious my burger was ready before his and they nuked my burger before giving it too me. It had that microwave taste and sheen on it. Microwave cheese is 100% noticable.

This restaurant has really good food and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Buffet. The food is always good and the salad bar is always fresh and delicious. The buffet is 15.99 per person. But you will leave feeling very satisfied?

I drive over an hr to eat. It's fresh clean and home like. I recommend everyone to visit and enjoy!

Good food. Watch the Bill close for extra charges. This sight couldn't handle a large number of people very small hot bars. Salad bar is large and nice.

Chicken was dry. The gravy for pork sandwiches was disgusting.

We visit the restaurant every time we're in Amish Country, always a pleasant experience! We had a family event on Saturday 6/17 and had our dinner catered by Berlin Farmstead, everything tasted great and everyone was pleased with the food selections. Thank you!

We didn't get the buffet and the regular menu food was disappointing

We stayed in Berlin over the weekend. Had dinner at this restaurant the first night and I highly recommend this place. If you visit berlin ohio put the farmstead on your list of places to visit.

Great food and service but found several hairs in the grapes

Service was terrible. We got seated then sat 10 minutes before we were approached for drinks. Put in our order and waited over a half hour before we saw any food. Waitress did not check back for drink refills. Had to flag her down to get straws. Meals came. Still no drink refill. Had to flag her down again after sitting a good 20 minutes after we finished our meal. Wanted pie but decided we didn't want to wait another hour. Finally got the bill from her. Will never visit thisocation again.

Be prepared to spend some money when you eat here. $15. for the buffet. The buffet is NOT even worth that much. I pretty much only had two pieces of fried chicken. I could of had that and paid $6. from a pizza place. Outrageous, ridiculous and expensive!!! Plus their buffet prices are not even posted. I would have NEVER eaten here. Disappointed and dissatisfied.

Never disappointed when we come here. The food is always great and simple.
