Yep I love libraries in general, but this one is really exceptionally cool!! It is a huge location. They have tons of programs, and a really neat assortment for kids that i noticed, including a homeschool program. They have an auditorium and i went to see a concert for black history month there, it was great. The kids area is in the basement, and it is huge. Lots of cool features, including this music/noise nook. Lots for kids to play with, in addition to the computers which always draws them. And tons of books! One thing i really liked also, was they had a section that was labeled "3rd &4th grade" for chapter books. They really seem to entice people to use the library and to love reading and education!

It's a perfect respite from what 12 Mile and Orchard Lake have come to represent. Take a deep breath, and thank our lucky stars we still have places that make the struggle, worthwhile.

Spacious. Clean. A ton of study areas. Well lit. Quiet. Common study areas have deceivingly comfy seats. They hurt the back.

Great library for children. The lower level is dedicated to Books, activities,computers, huge magnetic board, play kitchen, building area, and sensory activities. The staff is friendly, and they present great programs that inspire young readers. They have wonderful activities and play areas for toddlers. My grandaughter loves terrific twos . They have stories, music, gross motor and
Fine motor activities with enthusiastic staff. They keep the toddler area clean, and have a basket for toys to be cleaned. Very impressed with all the areas children have to discover here.

Y Farmington Lawn Equipment does good work at a fair price. There are worse however are nuts the most convenient for working people.

What an amazing place. I've really only come here for my two year old but the amount of activities for young people is amazing. He will play games on the ipads or play games in the activity room. He is a member of the read 1000 books before five. They have a music area and a play kitchen. Books galore. I have checked out their DVD collection as well which had movies but I didn't see any recent TV shows. Highly recommended even if coming for just a short period of time. Also have this amazing pin set which I've only seen at hands on museums.

Good library with a great ambiance. No cell phone area is good idea. Will visit again for making use of this to gain knowledge.

Staff always helpful. I enjoy ordering my books online, including access to borrowing books from the entire Michigan Library system. So many Libraries have a limited number of books in stock, but the Library has many books on the shelves for studying and research. Comfortable seating areas to browse through a book.

Only recommendation I would make is a window to allow for book pick up. With the growing senior population who has difficulty walking or young families who may find it difficult to unload the kid's from the car, it would be greatly appreciated!
