Member owned, you get what you pay for on internet...

Member owned, you get what you pay for on internet speeds. Offers FO speed 1000mbps, but it s a bit pricy for me. No caps on data, no throttling and steady reliable connection with heavy streaming and 3 devices online. FMTC has very knolegable and friendly staff!

I recently moved to Fruitland to Payette. I've had Century link for 3 yrs but they do not service Fruitland . I believed that Farmers was the only company providing internet so I went in and made an order. You have to pay two months up front ( prorated month plus first full month) and I would have to wait a week for install. It was actually the Farmers rep who signed me up that mentioned Cable one also services Fruitland. So when Ieft I called Cable one..got a better deal with up to 100 mbps instead of Farmers 25 mbps and got an install the same day . So i cancelled my Farmers order. They were kinda rude about it and im now going on 48 hrs waiting for the money to be credited back to my acct. Takes seconds to deduct off my debit card but days to return smh...anyway for the price and speed Cable one is the better deal

Inside people were knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. Installation tech was on time, quick,and cleaned up after himself. Internet is outstanding, super fast. I'm used to AT&T in California and this company is head and shoulders better!

I am disappointed with the customer service I have...

I am disappointed with the customer service I have been receiving. I inquired about getting internet out to my house 3-4 weeks ago. They never call me back like they say they will. I was needing internet a week ago and this has been very inconvenient for us that they do not follow through and get us a plan.

I ve been with farmers for years, they never disappoint me on having wonderful customer service and also the internet speed is excellent!!! They treat the customers so wonderful and it s been such a great experience thank you guys!

I called to set up internet service. Was told they...

I called to set up internet service. Was told they would come out to do a site survey and Install at the same time if all was ok. Then I received a call telling me they had checked on google earth and it showed I could only get 12gb.as it is rural. I was ok with that. The appt was scheduled at a certain time. I took the day off work to be here. Went buy FMTC early the day of the scheduled appt and pre-paid the first month as they requested. An hour after the appt time, I had not seen anyone, so I called. They told me they had been out and did the site survey and could not get service here, it was too far out. This was a bold lie! I told them I had been here all day and NOBODY had come out. They also google earthed the location before the scheduled appt so knew where it was located. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Ok if they could not get service out here, but don t lie to me and tell me they had been out when they had not. Completely unprofessional

The best place to go. The lady at the front office...

The best place to go. The lady at the front office was super helpful and friendly. I forgot her name but she's awesome walked me through the process of getting what I needed. To the man that came to hook it up was friendly and knowledgeable. The best place ever they won't turn you down by the your skin color..

Great local customer service, staff is willing to...

Great local customer service, staff is willing to help work through any and all issues. The actual Fiber Optics is installed all the way to the home, Up to GIG Fiber speeds. NO DATA CAPS. FMTC is working towards a 100% Fiber Optic Plant in the near future.

Customer service next to none! Techs always arrive...

Customer service next to none! Techs always arrive on time and take great pride in their installs...I have had zero issues with the cambium service @ 50 MB even while streaming in 4 K. couldn't imagine using any other company for fast reliable internet.

So I ve had FMTC for a little over a year now and I have to say I m impressed with the speed and quality service from their representatives, wouldn t want to be with any other service. Big thanks!! Keep doing a super job!!!!

As a current employee at farmers, I know first hand how dedicated our team is to our customers. We are always one phone call away and will always help until the problem is resolved. I have never worked for a company that is as loyal to their customers as Farmers.

Our household relies on the internet! And we rely ...

Our household relies on the internet! And we rely on FMTC to provide excellent internet...and phone.
Often times I work from home and I'm also enrolled in online school- fast, consistent, reliable internet is my livelihood.
We have a college student, 16 yr old, and a 10 yr old that use laptops, tablets, smart phones, video games, alexas, smart TVs, ETC. We never have issues with internet even with all of those devices connected.
The customer services exceeds expectations and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Last, I would say, Support local! Whenever possible we must support our local businesses. Put money in pockets of our own people and economy.

From the moment I walked into the Fruitland Office...

From the moment I walked into the Fruitland Office, I was greeted with a smile by "Tracy". She took care of signing me up for a WiFi account and set an appointment time for the install. Then, I decided to add a Roku box to watch the local channels. The Tech, "Jeremy" was wonderful in person and on each and every call I made to him to help walk me through the sign-in process. These two employees are truly an asset to F.M.T.C. **********TEN STARS! Thank you for such a warm welcome to Idaho!

We work hard to make sure every customer has a pleasant experience, whether its signing up for new service or trying to troubleshoot any issues. Not only are FMTC employees knowledgeable about products and services we provide, we are always looking to make sure we are up to date with any new technology available. You can stop by or call and will talk to the same people every time.

My experience lately has been horrible. Uncooperative, unwilling to help. Now they say they are no longer providing cellphone services but switching everything over to a program out of Glenns Ferry. I get no choice and would still be stuck with the early disconnect bill by backing out 3 months early.

As an employee and customer of Farmers Mutual Telephone Company, I am very pleased with both. I know that everyone at FMTC works very hard to make sure our customers are taken care of and treated with great respect. We definitely are not perfect, but if given the chance we will work relentlessly to make sure our customers are happy. We know it's pretty impossible to make everyone truly happy, but that is what the employees at FMTC try to do every day. From my experiences as a customer, I have very few problems with my service, especially after getting hooked up to the fiber optic service when it came available.

I have had so many years of great service from Fa...

I have had so many years of great service from Farmer s, and every time that I call, I have immediate help. They are cheerful when I am frustrated. They have the answers when I have only questions. They are quick and knowledgeable when I am slow and lost!

For instance I could not figure out how to leave a google review. I still can t believe that I could not figure it out. Tracy helped me so patiently she even sent pictures to walk me through the task. While I struggle with my new disabilities Farmer s manages to help me without making me feel small.

Tracy Whitley explained my bill to me and helped me find a more appropriate and affordable plan for me and my family. She made it so simple and quick.

Additionally, the tech support guys are amazing. I can t believe I have forgotten their names but they have just about become my best friends. They help me with my computer and my struggles happily and patiently.

Thank you Farmer s for creating a great team of awesome people! And thank you Tracy for helping me post this review!!!
