Christy is an awesome individual who helped me get into a shelter and reunite with my daughter. Helped me with food when I needed it. If you need assistance don't hesitate to call people do care and help is out there.

Call a Spade a Spade. They were there for me when i needed it. When i was homeless. However once i found my place on my own and they was able to pay my security deposit they said they were able to help me furnish my house with their furniture program. Instead after waiting 2 months after moving in They tell me all they have is mattresses and bed frames and basic silverware no couch or dinning furniture no Tv. When i got my items delivered which i paid for myself i got mattresses pillowcases sheet sets silver and one working bed frame. The other one was a Full and they gave me queen mattresses + box spring. They also said they would be helping me with a vehicle for car referral. Looks like they havent got their car program in place which was a real bummer! They do have a food bank. Food fresher than a Muh Fuh but im too far out to come all time. I only picked up once. They do have a thanks giving and christmas program. Ill be signing up for those.

They will help. They are such caring people. Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to work with or be a part of their program is truly blessed.

Just called to see what assistance was available and the woman who answered the phone was snapping at me. Told me to go to 211.com to fill out application and see what is available.
