I cannot recommend purchasing a home manufactured by Fairmont Homes basee on my experience. I thought the home was affordable due to the purchasing power of the company, the reduced finishing selections and lower quality inputs. What I did not expect was the extremely poor workmanship, bordering on incompetence and negligence. I endured and continue to endure so many problems with my home. My move-in was delayed by almost a year due to issues by both the manufacturer and the local builder. However, five months living in the home and more problems just keep cropping up.
Beyond fastener is not being tightened and nothing in the home installed straight or without screws being stripped there were some also larger issues.
The air exchanger was incorrectly wired And we had to get the manufacturer representative out to fix it. The furnace not installed properly such that the furnace broke within three weeks of use and The circuit board the motor and two pressure switches had to be replaced. The list of problems at the home is far too long to include here. I cannot recommend this company.
