Fairmont Field Club Review

Fairmont Field Club is fun, but could be much better. The layout of the course is nice , and can appeal to all players but the course is just not kept up. There isn t a distinguishable fairway, and the greens are very inconsistent. I will always love playing golf here but if you are used to playing more clean cut courses, this is not it for you.

Great place to spend a sunny afternoon poolside. The members are very friendly, and I enjoy watching their children swim. However, it is also a quiet time for reading and relaxing.

What a mess, a friend had her rehearsal dinner and wedding here. The rehearsal dinner was a mess, they booked a family Halloween fun night at the exact same time as the rehearsal and dinner..trying to get through rehearsal with kids in costumes, crazy. They finally divided the rooms up and put a sign by the door for rehearsal entry only, but that did no good, because the children kept running through and even the parents. Not a single person respected our party. It was awful...I would not recommend this venue..the so called manager went home, and just left us hanging.

Enjoyed a reception there today and it was real nice.

The food took forever to arrive. For just pub food it shouldn't take 30 minutes for a party of 4. Wings were good as was the steak hoagie. Excellent homemade chips! I hadn't been to the FFC since before the fire. I think they did a great job on the outside architecture. Still not the same place but a attractive club house.

Attended a Memorial Service there recently and was very impressed with the food and service. There was over 150 people in attendance and management made certain the event was conducted without any problems or issues.

For those concerned about social distancing during this scary time, the Field Field Club pool, restaurant and golf course are places to spend relaxing time with your friends and family. All areas are large and rarely crowed so social distancing is easy. The large pool area has a nice splash pool and play ground for the kids and shaded areas for the adults. Please join us. You'll be glad you did! Plus, coming soon--pickleball courts!!

100-year old golf courses don t grow on trees. This course was a surprising blast from the past. Could not find the architect on record online, but certainly has some template features built in the style of the preeminent architects of its day. Alps, Punchbowl, Short, etc. Probably was built by someone who had played some of the early gems of CB McDonald. Thanks for having us!

Amazing 9 hole course, the fairways are better than bell meadows and the greens just as nice. And it's cheaper. Definitely a must play place for golf in the area and it's not private!!
