After years of putting off getting corrective eye surgery, I finally decided to make it happen. There are a few places in town to choose from. But I chose EyeCare Associates of South Tulsa because their facility is nice and the technology they use is more current than the others.

I do not regret my decision. The doctors and staff have been very patient and knowledgeable. They did a good job of setting my expectations both before, during, and after the procedure. And the procedure itself only took maybe fifteen minutes. I will definitely be recommending them.

HOWEVER, it s important that you know that these people DO NOT CARE about your time. Every single appointment I ve had with them from my initial consultation, to my three-month follow up appointment I m sitting in now, where I m writing this review, has been an exercise in patience. You will spend a gratuitous amount of time in their waiting rooms and consultation rooms waiting for them to finally get around to seeing you two hours after your appointment time that was scheduled weeks in advance. It s been consistently terrible.

To sum it up, I highly recommend them for their services, especially if you are fortunate enough to get Dr Goodman. He is EXCEPTIONAL. That is, if you can survive the wait.

I had a major eye emergency and I was treated with immediate care, compassion, and professionalism. This place is NOT like another run of the mill chain stores / clinics. They treat you like you are the only patient. Great way of explaining the process of care and answering questions as well.

I came to EyeCare Associates of South Tulsa with a very nasty infection in my eye. I was concerned about vision loss, & my local Dr. was not equipped to handle it.

Upon introduction to Dr. Williams, he immediately took charge, and knew exactly what to do in my situation. He was helpful, kind, and a consummate professional at all times. He was aggressive, diligent, and took the fight to the infection!

I could not recommend any more.

With the ratings this establishment, particularly Dr. Langley, had, I expected far better. Granted, the massage chairs were a nice touch, but I sat there a good bit and didn't notice them being wiped down once. Considering we're in the middle of a pandemic, this might not have been the best idea considering people are sitting there playing with controls. Also, the place for your head is fabric. Ever hear of head lice?

I actually heard one nurse tell the other "well I guess you could use that thingy.". O.O Wait, you're using it on me and don't know the name? It was like they'd look at the screen and pick from a multiple choice of what to do next. They wore masks, no gloves.

The doctor himself was far too rushed and seemed to barely sit down before he was up and gone again. There were no gloves worn, and while the nurses wore masks, the doctor only pulled his up when he saw that I was wearing one but pulled it down again as he looked into the machine. Then he actually asked me to take mine down because I was fogging up the lens. It wasn't until after the nurse had put the drops in my eyes that I realized she'd been touching my face with no gloves. NOT a cool move.

I was told that I shouldn't have a problem driving even though they'd dilated my eyes. This was wrong. This was also the same person who'd told me I could very well someday lose my sight with what she saw, even though the doctor said nothing. I left there with a prescription for steroid eye drops, though I have no idea why I need them other than inflammation. I was talked "around" and even when I asked, there was no real information given.

Advice to the staff and doctors: TAKE TIME with your patients and explain stuff to them. Also, I hate to break it to you, but Covid is real and you need to take precautions.

I am very happy with EyeCare Associates. The young lady that performed all the eye tests on me was the friendliest person on the staff. She was knowledgeable, professional, very friendly, and very polite. She knows customer service better than any of the other girls that conduct those eyes tests on people.

I also like Dr. Langley - he has a good "bedside manner" while discussing the diagnosis and further recommended procedures.

Always a pleasant experience! Not waiting past appointment time, staff is efficient, knowledgeable, and move you through the process quickly. Dr. Bull is always open to explain any problems and open for any questions you might have. Always greeted with a smile from all staff.

I have had two appointments and won't be going back. The first was for dry eyes. I should have been advised to book a future time and be sure to bring a driver. The doctor was probably afraid I would rethink and decide against the huge out-of-pocket expense. Instead, I received a treatment that was like having my eyelids scrubbed from the inside and turned loose to drive myself home (a 45 minute drive) with eyes I could barely open. There was no word of concern or caution. It was totally negligent on their part. I should have sat down in the front waiting room for a few hours but I guess that wouldn't have looked good for them. The second visit was because I needed a new prescription for contacts. At the end of the appointment I was told they will not give a prescription!! So why give the vision test? And they dilated both eyes and turned me out, blinded by the sunlight. I won't be back.

My husband had eye surgery this morning for scar tissue from a previous lasik surgery. Dr. Langley did great, but the assistant offered no post operative instructions. In fact we had to ask the receptionist to print some for him and then she had to guess how long he should keep the eye patch on. Then when we got to the pharmacy the prescriptions were so unclear that our pharmacist had to call their office not once but twice to get clarification. So instead of being home resting we have spent the last 45 minutes at the pharmacy and are still waiting. What should have been a simple procedure has turned into a frustrating day.

Come here because the doctors are hot and nice; hot being more important when you re on medication. Besides lasik and the friendly employees, they give free water bottles, cookies, nice chairs, and a beautiful fish water tank. It s cool that they let the waiting room view your procedure.
