A great place to camp as a family, a better place to be a camper, and the best place to be a camp counselor !!! I took a walk down memory lane here, in the form of a 2-hour hike over low impact to moderate trails. Got lost for a bit (been a long time) but found my way after a short time, and was reminded how much I love walking in the woods...

This was the most amazing place ever when I was a kid! My son definitely enjoyed last year and my daughter just got the amazing experience this year! I cannot wait to hear your stories! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
It's a fine place for a summer camp. The lodgings are nice and the staff is positive and upbeat.

EWALU has something for everyone! Recently renovated cabins and lodges on base camp and the campgound are a great spaces for retreats or weekends away. Summer camp offers programs for ages 8-18 and summers spent counseling will provide you with lifelong friends and memories. High and low ropes courses are great for team building activities and EWALU even hosts several retreats throughout the year to attend. If you want some time for yourself, the Reflection Cabin is a great place to spend a quiet time in nature. The several miles of trails criss-cross through the woods and fields and provide hours of the joy of exploration for all ages of nature lovers.
My family and I really enjoyed ourselves and we'll be going back in the near future...
