We booked a day trip to Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge. This is very exhausting. But if you want to get some impressions of the surrounding area of London, it is worth it. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much of the city of Bath, despite everything being impressive. Our tour guide Andy Jackson was great, he led the whole tour in an entertaining way, because I personally don't speak English very well, which was a shame in this case, I didn't understand it that well.

Please be aware of this place! They are highly unprofessional, overbooking tours and not taking the slightest responsibility for it. There were several parties that had confirmed tickets and travelled to London for the Harry Potter tour, simply to be told by Evan Evans staff that they couldn t go. We were neither offered an apology nor an alternative and staff denied all responsibility for their mess up. Horrible customer service and completely unprofessional!!

Awesome Tour. The tour guide was the best we have ever had. We had long bus rides, and she spoke the majority of the time. Talking about the monarchy, history of Stonehedge, and the Roman Baths. On the return home, she went seat by seat asking if anyone needed help with directions or advice on things to see and do during the rest of their trip. She went over and above in so many ways. It was a very long day, and sometimes felt rushed at the sites, but it's not possible to hit so many sites in one day, considering their operating hours and distance in between. This is an excellent tour, can't say enough positive about it.

Got the best seats in the bus! Our tour guide, Oliver and driver, Bob, was just amazing! We got the Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge day tour package and it was definitely a memorable and great experience. We each had about 1.5 hours per location and it was just enough to get a glimpse and feel of each place. I recommend staying for a day or two in Bath because it really is such a lovely place -- rich in music, art and history. Overall, Oliver was really helpful, informative and kept us entertained with stories during the trip! Cheers Oliver and Bob!

I took a tour with Evan Evans in mid-July, and it could have just been a fluke, but this was a sub-par experience. It was disorganized, crowded, hot and left us cranky by the time we were home in the evening. We purchased this tour through a package with Viator. The bus took us to Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Oxford.

We started the day with late customers and our tour guide urging the bus driver to leave without them. The bus driver ultimately decided to wait. Our tour guide chastised the late passengers, which set the tone for the day and encouraged other, angrier passengers to join in. She warned us at every stop that she would leave anyone who was tardy behind. So instead of having an hour and a half at each stop, which I already think is a pretty short period of time, we had an hour -- with a half hour spent waiting on the bus so we didn't get left behind.

While our tour guide, Lelia, was certainly knowledgeable about the surrounding area, she didn't pause to give the passengers some quiet or down time. She spoke for almost the full duration of the time spent on the bus--roughly 5 hours.

If I was looking to visit these locations again in the future, I would consider booking a smaller, more intimate tour or traveling there on my own via train (I believe most, if not all locations, are rail accessible). Each location was certainly beautiful and worth a visit. If you're the kind of traveler that can roll with the punches and don't mind crowds, than consider this tour. If you're less inclined to spend the day in a packed, hot, angry bus, look elsewhere.

As a tour group very efficient. Free wifi on bus. But as a tourist who has never been to London before I thought the tour guide might point out the odd sight enroute to our destination (Harry Potter). Nothing but silence until 10mins before arrival.

Took the windsor, Stonehenge and bath tour with Alexandria and Mark. Both of them have well. Alexandria has some much passion for the tour sites and felt very genuine. She also gave some tips when in London. Her knowledge is vast and always helpful. Thank You Alex and Mark!

Not child friendly , tour guide was racially motivated

We went to a 11 hrs tour . Where our tour guide was James . His attitude was very bad from beginning . He was a cranky man. We were travelling with our 3 yrs old son . In Windsor Castle we came back 3 minutes late , packing our pram and He told me that "Hey , U are late , I am not gonna wait for you for a single moment in next two stops . " He even showed his finger to us . Driver , who's name was also James was helpful though .
In Oxford , one Caucasian man came almost 20 mins late , James was all okke with it .
He was harassing everyone for audio piece . He used crude English Humour which I felt very disgusting .
He intentionally didn't gave us our ticket to Stonehenge Bus trip . He was telling everyone that who wants bus tickets . Which causes confusion among us .
He overall attitude was not friendly at all . The whole time he gave attention to a lady who sat just beside the driver .
James ---- Very very Rude Guide .

I've till date been on two of Evan Evans Tours. Both were day trips outside of London. Its been a wonderful experience on both these trips. Very well organised and knowledegable guides who accompany you to share interesting information about the locations you visit as a part of the tour.

The tour by itself is well structured, and gives adequate time to explore the places of visit, ofcourse as much as you can in a day trip.

I would highly recommend Evan Evans for any weekend getways that you would like to plan, if you are interested in a quick visit to key locations around London.

Bad experience with this agency.

Bad experience with this agency.
I wanted to get tickets on the internet to visit the Tower of London with my children and after I entered the details of my card everything stopped. I tried to call and send mail but nothing. Meanwhile, my money was taken. When I first arrived in London I went to their agency to get the tickets / money but they also denied the facts, showing the procedure. We will now take legal action.
Don't book with them. It is not a serious agency.

Fantastic day trip - we chose a three stop (Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath). It was just the right amount of time to experience the highlights of each location. Oliver is a great guide, keeping things interesting on the transfers and providing excellent direction and introduction before each excursion. Our driver (Nadia) did a fantastic job as well. The bus was comfortable and the scenic routes to avoid traffic were wonderful. Highly recommended.

Rip off and lied to four times recommend not to book with!!!

In nutshell, we did not see what we paid for, did not get the service we booked and where lied to multiple times. I would never ever use Evan Evans Tour again and warn everyone that you might be in for a serious disappointment if you do book with them. Below the full description of what happened.

We booked a tour to Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Caste for 21 June (summer solstice) through Viator and ended up with Evan Evans Tours as a provider and multiple MAJOR disappointments. While already driving out to Windsor we where told that the trip will not go the Stonehenge because of the Summer Solstice (no chance for us to make any changes at that point anymore). We (and almost all others on the bus) booked this trip specifically because of the significance of that day. Less than a handful of passengers of the 47 on the bus know about the change.

The next day I went to the office to get further clarification. Again the manager tried to wiggle out with the three lies mentioned before, was aggressive and put the blame on others (booking agencies). Only after mentioning that we have all email addresses from people on the bus and everyone is frustrated, was he somewhat open to some leveled conversation. He was not open to send an apology to the group or a potential compensation in general. After I suggested that some might be less upset if offered a courtesy trip to Stonehenge, he was somewhat open to that. But in line with the very bad customer service, he left it up to me (HIS CUSTOMER) to let the rest of the group know!!!!
You can imagine that most had other plans or even left London already and as such less than 10% of the group were able to take that opportunity (I received comments from some that this was my only chance to ever see Stonehenge and it was ruined ).

My party was able to take the courtesy tour but again where disappointed and lied to. First, the Express tour did not included a personal guide (our booked tour did) and when arriving at Stonehenge our Evan Evans representative said that the Visitor Centre run out of audio guides (Lie #4). However, the staff at the visitor center mentioned that Evan Evans did not order any audio guides and I could see enough sets in the back in fact we where able to secure one for us.

Besides of the issue with not going to Stonehenge in the first place, there where also issue with the tour itself. Our tour guide was not organized nor very knowledgeable. He wasted around 50% of our time at Bath because of having lunch and forgetting our tickets. My party is fast but even we could not see the important things RUNNING through the location. Similarly bad was Windsor castle.

In nutshell it would have been much better (and cheaper and less frustrating) to get to the locations ourselves.

The departure and return times were respected, and the little extra was the return, the driver made a stop at Oxford Street for those who wanted to get off, the top !!

We did the windsor castle, Oxford and Stonehenge tour and it was really good. The best part about the whole tour was our tour guide @katherine_alcock - in one word she was fantastic and had a charismatic personality. She is a historian and was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip with her little insights about all the buildings and history of London and the royal family. Thank you Evan and Evans and @katherine for the wonderful trip

Excellent tour!! My family and I attended this tour on 2/17/2018 and loved every minute of the experience. The bus arrived at our hotel on time, very organized with a speedy check-in, and departed the studios on time as well.

Can't miss tour if you are a fan of the Harry Potter book and film series. Highly recommended!!

WB Harry Potter Studio Tour was incredible and a once in a life time, one of a kind opportunity. Yet would not recommend this tour company as the bus driver was terribly rude and had an awful attitude. Made customers feel uncomfortable and did not provide a positive experience. Evan Evans was fine for transport but not much else!!

I enjoyed my tour to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court! The guide was very personable and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from him. I wish the tour allowed for more time at Windsor Castle. I have already recommended this tour to a friend that is visiting London very soon.

Evan Evans tours was used for travel to Paris. The tour guide, Sammy was excellent as he calmly and expertly took us to all the famous places in the area. We made use of the Big Bus to see the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and a wonderful lunch at an outdoor cafe. Thanks for making this possible.

Our tour guide Katia Sofia was execellent. She is very knowledgeable of all the sites we visited and the town as well. She is also profficient in 5 languages and managed to provide the tour in a diversity of languagues as well. A very friendly person whom also went passenger by passenger answering all the questions and providing excellent suggestions on locations to visit.

Or driver Kevin did great job of getting us safely and quickly through both countryside and city traffic. He had few comments but then he was driving. Great job by Kevin!!!
Oliver was fantastic. He said he been guiding for less than 2 years but his knowledge of the sights was on par with the experts. His great sense of humor and his willingness to share tidbits from his personal life made the Stonehenge inner access tour even better. Oliver was prepared to lead us no matter the weather as he even brought his waterproof trousers, jacket, and shoes.
People like Oliver and Kevin reflect well on Evan Evans Tours and more importantly they show the best of England.
Thanks Evan Scans for hiring the best.

Great experience on our tour to Stonehenge and Bath.
Comfortable ride, was not over booked so had some spare seats also.
Guide (Phil) was amazing, very interactive and extremely knowledgeable / familiar with London and surrounding areas. He seemed to know every nook and corner, had recommendations for other places to visit, and knew more history than one can find in books / online.
Chauffeur (Moe) was good and friendly too, and drove safely yet lost no time. Overall loved the experience and would recommend it worth the money spend (~70 GBP per person)

We took the tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford in December. This tour should not be offered in December as there is not enough daylight for all three locations and the tour director was more interested in just getting through the tour than having a pleasurable experience.

My purpose in booking this tour was to see Blenhei...

My purpose in booking this tour was to see Blenheim, not to spend a lot of time visiting three small country towns Seeing the Cotswalds can be done on the trip to and from the palace. It doesn't require additional time.
We didn't arrive in the parking lot at Blenheim until after 3:00 pm, with departure planned for 4:40 pm. The next tour of the palace ran from 4:00-5:00, making it impossible to take that tour, or any other tour. This was a completely inadequate visit to Blenheim. The palace offers half a dozen different tours, none of which we could participate in. Why isn't the tour of Blenheim done at the start of the trip instead of the end of the trip? A tour of Blenheim lasting half a day would be a better plan, with side trips to small towns afterwards, but only if time permitted. Next time, I'll take the train myself and control my own visit.

We went on a luxury tour to warner brothers studio The Making of Harry Potter. The bus was barely even average let alone luxury, the only luxury thing about the car is the coach branded as Mercedes. Only worth 2 stars as at least we got there and was given 4 hours to tour the place. Next time i ll buy my tickets and make my own way there though.

Very good guide, gave us good stories about each of the locations. Given that there were three points to our tour, we had limited time to spend on our own at each spot, but they did the best they could with the amount of travel required. Highly recommended.

@RhysThomasTours one of the best guides I've met. Rich knowledge, a simple and fun way to communicate information. In addition to the facts, many curiosities. A very well organized man. When it comes to a trip - an interesting program. One small downside for the fact that there could be more time in Winsorze and Stonehenge because I like to explore thoroughly. Generally, I recommend it with all my heart - great climate, a guide from the top shelf, a nice driver and everything perfectly organized.

The guided day trip to Paris from London was amazing. Simon was a great tour guide and patient with our group. Our group was quite small which allowed for a more intimate experience. My only disappointment was the "shopping" stop. There was not any true shopping available at the stop outside of tourist venues. When in Paris I was desiring a more boutique shopping experience.

I just got back from London .. Evans Evans tour .. I didn't like 90 euros to go to see the Herry Potter studios at all .. it seems excessive .. basically I paid for the bus ticket and the entrance .. the gold did not give any service .. I do not recommend it to everyone .. Evans Evans tour .. and London tours are the same company .. if you want to go to the studios go with the official website ..

Wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Daniel, was informative, kind and thoughtful...the bus was comfortable. We went to Stonehenge at Sunset and were permitted to go right up to the stones...unlike the other tourists who had to stay behind a rope.
I will call Evan Evans again for future tours.

Jennifer was a great guide. Her humor and knowledge made our day very enjoyable. I would reccomend her as a guide anyday. Kee was our driver and did a great job of making sure we could take pictures of the beautiful city of Bath and he also helped to guide us in the right direction when we visited Stonehenge.

Big disappointment! We booked the Harry Potter tour in December for February, paid for it, and received confirmation. Then suddenly there was no space reserved for us on site. So did THREE other groups on this appointment.

We took tour 18, Bath and Stonehenge, no Roman bath tour. Our tour guide was Toby and he did a great job. It's a lot of driving but beautiful sites and views along the way. Would definitely recommend!

We booked the Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge tour. O...

We booked the Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge tour. Our confirmation said 8:45 am. I went to the agency's page and it said that from April 1 it was 8 am (also the link in the confirmation email), but they didn't notify us of the change. Fortunately, it occurred to me to enter the page.
There were many delays in the shipment. We left 30 minutes late (which is a long time for a tour with three destinations). Our driver was Michelangelo and our guide Nigel, who speaks English, French, Italian and German! Nigel was making comments on the way, to know the things we were seeing. Due to the late departure, we arrived in Windsor at 10:40 am. There were many blocks of queue. We just went a week before Prince Harry's wedding, which I think influenced the crowd. At 12:10 we should be back on the bus. Between the queue and the security checks, that gave us around 1 hour to go through everything. A little.
From there we went to Bath and then to Stonhenge. We stayed an hour and a quarter in each place.
Evans Evans has his own very modern audio guide, where you can scan the points on a Stonehenge map and listen to the explanation. But several points of mine were heard cut off or, directly, were not heard. I warned the driver when I returned it so that he would not mix it up with the others and they could repair it, but he did not pay attention to me, so I guess more people later had to miss part of the Stonhenge explanations with a faulty audio guide.
At the end of the tour, Nigel passed by seat by seat to recommend which stop we should get off at.
Overall, the tour was very good. The guide knew a lot, all three places are amazing. And, despite the little time in each place, we got to travel a lot. It is a good option for those of us who have little time and want to see as many things as possible in one day :)

Such a wonderful tour with Ildi and our driver Mark! We visited Stonehenge, Oxford and Windsor castle. It was an all day experience and my only regret is that we couldn t spend more time at each place. I highly recommend if you re visiting for only a few days as this is the best way to see everything in a short amount of time. Our tour guide Ilda was bilingual which was very beneficial for members of family. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I took the Stonehenge at Sunrise tour, including Oxford and Windsor. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We were misdirected by the hotel as to our meeting place, and the Tour Guide took the extra time to search for us at the other location, to ensure that we were able to make the trip. The tour guide and driver were both very professional, and extremely helpful and friendly. Being able to wander freely among the stones of Stonehenge at sunrise was a life-long dream come true. Oxford was very interesting, and Windsor was amazing. Our Guide was very knowledgeable about all our destinations. I could tell that he enjoyed his job, and tried to make things fun and interesting for everyone on this tour. I was even more impressed when at the end of the tour, our guide tried to ensure that every person on his tour was placed back in London in the location that was best for them, and gave extensive directions as to how to reach our next destination.
I fully recommend Evan Evan's Tours, and will no doubt be booking through them again.

Oliver was a great your guide for the Stonehenge inner circle (plus Oxford and Windsor) tour. He was accommodating for each guest, and he was able to answer every question with humor. Stonehenge just after sunrise was soggy but inspiring, and it was closed off to all other guests. I wish we had spent more time in Oxford and a little less in Windsor, but otherwise an amazing day!

The best day ever! Cold, but the tour was worth it! The guide Oliver is second to none and I absolutely recommend him... if he could guide all the tours, I'd go on them all!! Nadia, the bus driver was great, very kind. They make a great duo! Would have loved more time at Windsor castle, less time at Stonehenge (although, it was exactly what I expected and very fun to see), and could definitely use a full day in Bath... the Christmas market was fantastic! A++++, no Tom and Jerry rating here, even if I teased about it. Oliver - hope I see you on my Harry Potter tour next week!

I came earlier than my tour s appointment by 35 min but the lady in the reception didn t let me in the waiting area, she told me to go back when the it is time! And when we boarded the tour bus after I received a card from the reception I received a phone call saying asking why I am not there!!!!! They didn t check me in the system too!!! Didn t like the tour too. We took the Harry Potter tour to Warner Brothers Studios.

Booked Harry Potter/Warner Bros tour December 2018.
The ticketing for this Tour is a racket and if given the choice we would not have used Evan Evans (or any other operator) for this experience. However it was the only way of securing a ticket to the Tour.
As for Evan Evans, communication at their office for the departure was limited. We were herded into a downstairs area, then when a bus appeared we just assumed it was the one and went outside - no communication from the operator.
The driver was erratic throughout, sudden application of the brakes and lane changes. He was on his phone trying to line up his job for the next day and stopped at the motorway services for 15 minutes so he could have lunch. Clearly unscheduled as he told a coach load of people to stay on board.
Upon arrival at Harry Potter we were given a time for return which, on reflection, would have enabled us to see about 30% of the attractions at a comfortable pace. In light of this, as well as the erratic driver, we decided early to take our time at the Tour, see things at our own leisure, ditch the return bus ride and make our own way back to London.

Despite heavy rain, the tour was excellent and our...

Despite heavy rain, the tour was excellent and our guide (Rodney) was superb. My 16-year old son noted that Rodney has a very soothing voice and was a pleasure to listen to. Throughout the trip, he provided interesting facts about the villages we passed, historic buildings, and English history.

The tour began with the trip out of London to Bampton, where scenes from Downton Abbey were filmed. A very cute village. We spend about 30-45 minutes at the village. The building that served as the clinic in Downton Abbey is actually the village library and had a small souvenir stand open to visitors.

Next, we visited Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds. A very pretty village that had the foresight to construct a large bus parking lot to cash in on the tourist trade. We spent a couple hours here for lunch and exploring the many shops, restaurants, and the cute church.

Next was Blenheim Palace. It was a very large building, but I thought it was quite cold and uninviting. I would definitely NOT want to live there!!! You see perhaps 1/4 of the building, which includes the library, drawing rooms, and a room containing the bed on which Winston Churchill was born. We toured the gardens in the pouring rain. Quite lively landscaping, though most of the flowers were gone by the time we visited in mid-October.

One annoying aspect of Blenheim Palace is that after purchasing something to eat at the food stand, our change was given in old British bills that are no longer accepted by merchants. We only found this out the next day, and you can only exchange them for the correct notes at the Bank of England, which did not have branch near our hotel. So, beware. Perhaps the Duke of Marlborough discovered a cache of old notes in the floorboards and figured it was easier to pass them off to unaware tourists instead of having to report the newfound income!

We returned to Victoria Station at about 6:30pm, driving into London along a different route from the way we left in the morning, giving our guide more opportunity to discuss historic buildings and neighborhoods.

I purchased this tour unaware that it did not include admission into Blenheim Palace, but we were able to buy tickets enroute. (The guide purchases everyone's tickets upon arrival). So, be aware that there are a couple tours - one that includes admission to Blenheim Palace and one that only includes the coach travel.

I would definitely book this tour again with Evan Evans. The tour bus was comfortable and the route was quite lovely. We considered ourselves quite lucky to have Rodney as our guide and will inquire about his availability for future tours when we return to London.

Finishing up the tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath as I type this. I could not wait to share my experience! Our tour guide Mel was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining. His experience of doing this for many years shows as he shared loads of interesting and unique information off the top of his head. Our driver Tom provided a smooth ride, despite having to make surprise adjustments when roads were closed. I would highly recommend this tour to a friend!

Tour of Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon-Avon, and Oxford.
I visited London for a few days with my family and we decided to go through Evan Evans to do tour. Our tour guide's name was Chris, and wow, he was so knowledgable! Not only did he provide us with plenty of interesting information about the sites we visited, but he also told us so many interesting facts about London as well. It was great to learn about all of these places from a historical aspect, as well as learn about the daily life and events that happen in each of these places. Amazing job, Chris! The bus driver, Barry, was also excellent in getting us to our destinations safely and efficiently. I had so much fun on this tour. I highly recommend going through Evan Evans Tours if you would like to take a day-trip around England. You will learn so much!

We visited London recently and did a day tour of London with Evan Evans Tours. The lady who acted as our tour guide was magnificent. Apart from keeping us continiously informed with facts and stories about the places we visited, she also added a lot of humour all the time and as a result everybody on the bus had a lot of fun. My wife and I travel a lot and we both agree that we will definately use Evan Evans again on our next visit to the UK

Great three part tour of winsor-stonehenge-bath. Was pleasantly surprised with the depth of experience and humor of our guide, Mel. Be prepared for about a hour between stops and three hours by bus back to London (no restrooms on board!). The drive from Stonehenge and bath was absolutely beautiful - they don't really advertise the drive, but if you want to see a lot of London countryside, this tour provides great views. I was traveling with a mobility challenged partner (used a cane and small scooter) and the Evan Evans folks were very accommodating and helpful. The trip is not 100% accessible, but people that can walk short distances and a couple of stairs to get on the bus might find this tour company an option.

Had a great time taking the tour bus around Windsor castle, Stonehenge & The Roman bath with my friends. Rhys was our tour guide, he done a great job explaining the history behind it and made us laughs all the time. Very entertaining tour guide! Also thanks to Elisa for transporting everyone safely back to London. The coach is being kept clean and the interior is quite cozy. Definitely enjoyed the trip!

Evan Evans Tours September 2017
We took two excursions with Evan Evans: the first was the Harry Potter studio tour; and the second was a day long tour of the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace, with a couple stops at historic villages. This is a top notch tour company, and everyone from the office staff to the tour guide and drivers were superb professionals who put forth every effort to make our experience special from start to finish. Don't settle for a second class tour - go with Evan Evans for a fantastic experience all around.

If I could give them a 0, I would. Unprofessional, rude, disorganized, and just trying to fill a bus. I bought 2 seats together, i would expect to sit with the person I came with instead of being forced to sit separately. Checked in, then didn't give us any wristbands so we had to get off the bus then were told to come back on the bus, but we had to sit separately because the bus can't leave unless it's full. They never gave us any tickets to get into the tour, once we arrived, they gave us someone else's tickets who's tour was starting soon, and then told us to get on a different bus at the end of the day. It's a good thing we didn't get on that bus because we could have been left behind, as it was a full bus. No customer service skills what so ever, I would not recommend booking with this company unless you want to be disappointed all day.

We did the Stonehenge tour. They provide the bus and an entrance ticket with audio guide headset. The driver was good. Our ticket got us to see the stones from about 40m away. You can't get close up without a special permit. The exhibit itself was interesting. The tour itself was what I expected for the price we paid. If you want a guided tour, this isn't what you're looking for. But those cost more. We needed a ride from London to the site, and an entrance ticket. That's what we got, and they did that well.
