The trip was all we expected. The dinner cruise was delicious and the entertaiment was wonderful. Angela was a great guide she explained every detail of the trip and we felt very comfortable and safe.
My family & I went for the Cotswolds day tour (incl. Blenheim Palace)
What went well: Cotswold as a place is simply beautiful. The coach was very comfortable. The tour guide (Phil) was an eloquent speaker and quite knowledgable.
What we didn't like:
1. Not worth the price: Evan and Evans should really clarify the tour description - what's marketed as COTSWOLDS is not what it seems. Only 20% time in COTSWOLDS v the rest in Blenheim Palace. GBP 80 per person seems like a stretch
2. Not enough time to enjoy Cotswolds and schedule very cramped up: Cotswolds is a place to see at ease and soak in the countryside feel of UK villages. Unfortunately, the trip simply didn't allow any time for it. When you give a maximum of 30 mins to 60 mins per location (with 10-20 mins of those spent in getting on-off the bus, and explaining basic navigation, it is very difficult to spend any quality time. We were left scrambling for time at each stop - quite stressful when you're thinking of NOT missing the bus at all times.
3. Arrogant tour guide: Although very eloquent, Phil was quite blunt and sarcastic (at times borderline rude whilst speaking to passengers on board). This was evident when I politely gave him feedback about the scheduling of the trip.
Overall: NOT RECOMMENDED
(Go on the tour if you simply want to tick off items from a bucket list for tourist purposes. If you want to enjoy Cotswolds, this trip is not for you).
Took the Windsor, Stonehenge, Oxford Tour with Robert & Winston. Robert was a phenomenal guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and someone who genuinely enjoys history. Winston got us to each destination safely and back to London in one piece. All in all we had a great day - thanks again!

The places maybe great but there is no charisma from any of the staff and seem inconvenienced that you are there.
With no introduction or excitement built about what or where we are going.
There is no clarity to their coach service, not knowing why or what we are doing and central London traffic only made it worse.
Poor service and seemed disorganised.
It has been an extraordinary trip, for the time that we had, we visited very emblematic places and we were able to appreciate the most important thing. David, our guide, has been incredible, explains very well and is open to questions, great group management and extensive knowledge, along with Paul our driver has been all very safe. The Stonehenge, Windsor, and Bath tour was wonderful. Robert was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Our bus driver Mark made sure we arrived safely and on time.
Took the Harry Potter walking tour of London with a guide named Oliver Simmons. He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and kind. I learned more about London in general on this Harry Potter themed tour than I did on any of the other London history tours I went on.
Nice drive however the toilet was not working and there was no place to recharge personal devices which is contrary to your brochure

TL:DR - Rushed through the sites, not anywhere near enough time to see or appreciate the sites. Lied to several times, *NOT* taken to Stonehenge.
June 21, the Summer Solstice, was not mentioned on any confirmations or communications and it was only once we were already on the road were we informed that we would not be going to Stonehenge. We were sitting in the very front row of the tour bus and heard the tour guide venting to the driver that "they do this every year and every year people get angry and nothing ever changes."
We were told that Stonehenge was closed to tour groups that day, which was a lie. Then the tour guide said that it was actually because the group discount (10% off for groups over 20) was void and Evan Evans did not want to pay full price. Later we were told admission was actually free that day because of the Solstice.
Neither the driver nor the tour guide seemed to actually know anything about the alternative site, Avesbury, so the whole ride there we were treated to Stonehenge facts. They didn't know where to park or where to bring us since there is not much at the site (including not many of the original stones.) There was a pub, so at least we were able to commiserate over a beer. And lots of sheep.
We were absolutely rushed through the other two sites. It didn't seem to dawn on our guide that during an 8 hour trip bathroom breaks and lunch would need to happen and these things were not planned for our day. In Bath he announced a 30 minute lunch break in lieu of the planned walking tour. He also waited until the end of that 30 minutes to check us in at the site so we had to wait another at least 30 minutes before we were allowed to enter.
The tour guide and driver seemed apologetic and frustrated, told us they did not know about the change in itinerary until that morning despite Evan Evans saying that they gave everyone notice. I would have gladly picked a different day.
We had an excellent journey guided by Jennifer today! The coach driver Dave did a great job as well.
Just a suggestion: The company might think about giving more time (especially in the Windsor castle) and consider offering a lunch break at the other place on the way. Bath, for example, since the main attraction there is not that time consuming.
Very very good. We booked a Windsor, Stonehenge, bath tour on the 19th of Jan this year and had a fabulous time. The tour guide was a gem of a person and we saw everything properly. No one was left behind even though some people were a bit late. Everything was well-paced-out. I certainly recommend Evan Evans to all :) Keep up the good work guys :)
Our tour guide, Jennifer, was excellent, and our driver Andres was clearly a pro. It's a lot to pack into one day, but we really enjoyed all 3 stops at Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge. Very professional organization.

Simple to find, various ways to book. The employees are very nice and forthcoming. However, the actual schedule may differ from what you booked and there is no clear indication as to what might have changed, which results in a lot of people asking the drivers (!) the same questions.
My driver was amazingly friendly and considerate, as he had to maneuver around a closed of section of roads due to some official event. He remained friendly and helpful all the time and kept all the passengers updated.

Tour to the Warner Brothers Studios. Perfectly organized, reliable, clean bus, you felt safe at all times. Only the price for the transfer I find too high. But only tickets without transfer were unfortunately already sold out ....
An absolutely excellent tour!!!!! It is a full, busy day but well worth it. There is a fair bit of driving because of the distances between the sites, however, the amount of time at each of the sites was more than sufficient. The Evan Evans employees were wonderful, too We have only good things to say about all the workers we dealt with from booking the trip, through to the tour guide, and the bus driver. I very highly recommend this trip and this company.
Booked the tour to the Harry Potter Studios. The staff was friendly and the bus very modern and clean, but we started a bit late and stopped in the back alley of a Hilton hotel for about 10 minutes for no apparent reason. It took also a lot of time to leave London city and drive back to the Evan Evans office - a meeting point at the edge of London city would've been better. At the studios everything went perfectly, though and it was worth the rather high price. Didn't check how much a self organized transfer would've cost, but I appreciated not to have to worry about anything.
We had a great time on our Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford tour! We spent just the right amount of time at each stop and our guide, Oliver, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He made sure each person in the group was accounted for and taken care of during the tour. Mark, our driver, was efficient and drove the coach with ease. We were comfortable during each leg of the trip. Thanks to Oliver and Mark for making our day wonderful and memorable!
Highly recommend the early morning Stonehenge tour. It was so peaceful and calming standing next to the stones as the sun was rising- amazing pictures!! We were the only group there as well which added to the ambiance. If you're looking to spend a lot of time in Oxford or Windsor this may not be the tour for you, but the Stonehenge experience more than made up for it in my opinion. Our tour guide Charlotte was so sweet and friendly, but also very smart and knew a lot about the history of every stop.

We did "Spy and Espionage Tour of London" a week ago, on April 23. It was fantastic. An absolute must for those who like spy stories and/ or history. Andy, our tour guide, a high caliber specialist who has obviously spent years working in intelligence, has a phenomenal knowledge. We have travelled through the XX century history, covering some of the most fascinating spy stories and operations.The tour combined pleasant and easy walks with some driving around London. All our questions were fully answered and discussed further leading to even more spy stories... The tour was intense when it comes to knowledge acquired but it ended in St. Ermin's Hotel in a true "spy style" with Vodka- Martini on the house... Andy, thank you!
I book a tour at Stonehenge with a minivan but on arrival, clearly I have already paid, they tell me that it is not possible not understanding why .. positive time available
did the windsor stonehenge oxford tour on Sun, 12 May 2019. despite an advance confirmation from our agent VistBritain (who sits in the Mumbai VFS visa office), evan evans has a funny procedure requiring the customer to call and confirm their seat. this was not informed to us by VisitBritain and thankfully my wife had the presence of mind to check on Sat. However, evan evans call centre promptly said 'sorry, there are no seats left'. This on Sat night. Multiple phone calls to India and to evan evans, later turns out evan evans screwed up (not unusual given abysmal customer service in UK). they lamely apologised and phew the tour obviously turned out better than expected!

If you're on the fence about this tour either because of the cost or the length, believe me when I say it is absolutely worth it. Take the late tour - nothing can describe being the only group at Stonehenge.
An absolute highlight of this tour was our guide, Andy Jackson. Andy was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and just a joy to listen to. He was able to keep our 13 year old and 6 year old interested and entertained. Beyond this, he took the time to get to know everyone on the bus. Thank you Andy and Evan Evans!
They left us FOOT !!!! Harry Potter studios very expensive but beautiful, too bad that there was no bus waiting at the exit. We are late for 10 minutes (one of the 3 children had an urgency) and on the phone they told us to come back alone and slammed the phone in the face . We do not leave tourists in difficulty considering how much they have paid and do not know the language.

Went to the Warner Bros Harry potter tour and they gave us 4h which they said they had to extend from 3h because the people said it were too short. They say that now there are people complaining that 4h are too long, but for me I would have needed another hour. Nevertheless the staff were very friendly and the bus comfortable
We recently toured Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stone Henge. James was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about each place we visited. I would highly recommend him for any place in England as a tour guide! Kee, our driver, was an excellent driver.
Our guide, Mel is very knowledgeable and shared much about the history of Bath and Stonehenge. He is humorous and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Our driver, James is an excellent driver drove us safely between location. In no way were we rushed. I would strongly recommend Evan Evans for your next tour.

I took on the Stonehenge and Bath tour from London. This tour was excellent by all means. The guide was superb. She even made the road seem a good time because of the valuable and interesting info she have about the places we passed through. At the same time, she did give us time to relax/nap before we arrive. The time allocated to each site was just enough. I don't think Windsor can be added, as in Stonehenge-Bath-Windsor tours.

My mom and I used them for the Harry Potter tour. Abysmal....not worth the 40 pound cramped bus ride with only 3 hours at the studio. You'd be better off going with the WB tour company and being able to leave whenever you want.
We took the all-day tour in the UK to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge. We highly recommend this tour! Allen, our tour guide, was the best we have ever had. He was super insightful, incredibly helpful, and seriously funny. The tour was a little rushed, but we packed in a lot in a long day.
We did not leave at our time, but if we had to finish at the indicated time but you wanted to run out of your return ticket, instead of answering for the delay you only respond that they feel it, but you have to return at the time they mark. The bus does not carry what other users tell you, or movies or anything related to Harry Potter.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Not recommended and not worth the price. Terrible tour. It s basically just transportation between sights, thanks to our driver Steve. The tour guide Catia had a very heavy Portuguese accent, and wasn t enthusiastic or enthralling, although knowledgeable. Monotonous, and major bore. Not only that but it was incredibly rushed, it felt like I was on the bus for triple the amount of time spent at the sights...it felt like less than an hour at each sight. You spend more time waiting in line to board the bus and in line entering the sites at queues than you do exploring and visiting the sites. There is no time to eat, and no lunch provided (it s all day long, for hours leaving early in the morning getting back to Victoria Station late in the evening), no time for bathrooms, no time to shop at gift shops for souvenirs if you want to see everything and do the listening tours at the sights. Basically no time for anything, honestly ridiculous. At Windsor I only got to see ONE SECTION of the castle, couldn t do the historic side nor see St. George s Chapel inside. I was 10 minutes late at one point running back to the bus from Stonehenge and the tour guide was incredibly rude, continuously harping on it once I sat back down in my seat. There was major miscommunication, the first stop at Windsor we had to be back at 11:15 so for the second, Stonehenge I thought we had to be back at 14:15 instead it was 14:05 and she kept ostracizing me for having been late in front of the entire bus. Also the listening vox s are super old, and the one I was provided was faulty, after having replaced my original so I couldn t even hear the listening tour at Stonehenge, much help that was. You re much better off renting a car and visiting each site at your leisure as opposed to being rudely rushed. There is NO TIME to appreciate the history and observe things. It s literally just a run through and done, skimming over everything in a hurry in order to be back on the bus on time. Beware if you re a history buff as I am and you pay close attention to detail, also if you enjoy artistically photographing things and not just terribly composed tourist photos, you WILL NOT ENJOY THIS TOUR!
Another word of CAUTION: if you take this tour on a week day expect 3+ hours traveling back to the city. We left Bath at 16:50 and didn t arrive to the outskirts of London until well after 19:30. This is what you have to look forward to. Bumper to bumper traffic....After having spent less than an hour at Bath. And don t plan on sleeping or napping either, they left the reading lights on the entire time and there are no bathrooms on the bus so make sure you use restrooms/washrooms at your last stop! Hope this helps...

Absolute lovely time with Simon (our guide) & Jo the Coach driver! Not a bus driver ;) Simon was great with filling the long trips to locations with tons of knowledge and tid bits along the way. We even had some rude guests in the front who wouldn't shut the hell up and he handled them politely as well I would definitely recommend this tour service for the future! Very well done and a big thanks to showing us a different part of this big blue world!
We took the tour for Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge from central London.
The pros are well equipped coach and the Vox audio guide which shares the tour guides live and semi manual audio recorded guides for major attactions.
The cons are not enough time to visit these attractions due to our long journeies from central London and between the attractions. We manage to grasp a sandwich for lunch on the coach.
Went on 2 tours with Evans Evans. They provide pick up services from selected hotels, on time. Efficient. Clean tour buses, professional services. Cheaper than some of the other tour services.
Evan Evans Tours did an amazing job at providing comfortable, easy to follow tours! I took both the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath tour and the Warner Brothers studio tour. Both were exceptional but it was the Evan Evans employee who helped save me over $100 after a mistake made by me that really turned my experience around. This employee worked with me for almost an hour to get me the refund I needed to do another tour. Evan Evans tours take the stress of planning an excursion out and allow you to enjoy the experience!
They provided a nice independent tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Roman Baths, Bath for our group of seven. Traveling mode was a Well maintained and clean Mercedes-Benz coach. Kevin was well spoken and interacted in both English and Japanese. He took care of everything in the tour and told some interesting facts and stories about UK. He was accompanied by Denis, the bus driver, who was very friendly and disciplined. They also provided an audio guide device with 7-8 different languages. The 11 hour tour had short span of limited time in each place but the timings were punctual.
A little hustled, but we wanted to get out there fast, see the Stones by ourselves and get back fast as well, so this was perfect. If you're trying to squeeze in a trip and don't want to spend the whole day there, this is the tour to take, but don't expect a ton of time at the stones or the visitor center, or a guided tour there are other tours out there that offer those things.
Excellent tour. Lots of interesting points. Comfortable bus. Punctual staff. I would especially like to thank Katie, who guided us very well, knew a lot about the story, was fun, was helpful and spoke English very clearly to foreigners.

We had booked through Evan Evans the tour to the Harry Potter Studios. Clean bus and a pleasant driving style. Overall, I would definately book again through Evan Evans.
The tour was good. The guide (Karen) was competent but she was very biased. All her comments were directed at the American tourists on board, despite the fact they constituted only a third of the 49 passengers. As I am a local who joined the trip, I believe she gave a poor impression of us as a country. Should we not be equally welcoming of tourists from other parts of the world? They are as much entitled for attention as the tourists who come from the US of A.
Excellent and spectacular, everything well done, the only bad thing was that there was no butter liquor, but it was an incredible afternoon for those of us who are followers of Harry Potter
Horrible customer service. I missed my tour due to being given wrong information as to the starting point of the tour. The rep at Evan Evans said she was too busy to help me get a refund and I should take care of it myself by calling the agent. I asked for a manager and she said noone could help me. I refused to leave without a refund and she very rudely again said she was too busy. I sat in the waiting room and explained that I was not leaving without a refund and she finally made a big deal about getting on the phone and getting my refund. It took maybe two minutes. She argued with me about how busy she was longer than it took her to make a phone call and get my refund.

We made the tour out of London to Strarford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Oxford and Cotswolds. We enjoyed so much the trip with Patricia as a tour guide. She was so friendly and the time spent in each place was ok but perhaps a bit more time in Warwick Castle would had been better!
We had a great time. I thought someone from Even Evans would be with us on this tour, but it was arranged through Evan Evans to travel to Edinburgh on our own and our tour was with a company in Edinburgh. It worked out great. The tour company did a great job, the bus tour was great, all arrangements were complete by Evan Evans. I tour the prior week to Bat and Stonhenge was even better. Both tours were top notch.

I have travelled on 3 day tours from London in the past and could not fault the tour guides or transport. I am booked for another day trip to Paris and have no doubt it will again be a wonderful experience to share with my family.
The journey I attended was great, the only drawback was that the bathroom on the bus was closed. I am sure you can fix problems like that

Very nice tour, especially the host Jennifer! She kept all of entertained and well informed. Individually talked to every tourist. The driver Russell was also very nice and polite. I would recommend everyone to take this tour especially if the guide is Jennifer.
Wonderful trip! Great driver Gabor and really fun guide Emily. It was a great day and worth the money! It was nice to get out of the city and see the wonderful English countryside and be entertained by Emily and her knowledge and stories!

We took a Windsor Castle-Stonehenge-Oxford tour in September.
Pros: Tour bus was in great condition and pickup was fairly organized. The tour guides were nice. Transportation between these 3 locations would have been a huge pain with out a tour, which is why we did it.
Cons: The day was simply too rushed. Despite being picked up at 8am and not returning to central London until past 6pm, we were only given 2 hours for Windsor and 90 minutes at Oxford (90 minutes for Stonehenge was plenty). Windsor needs at least half a day. We broke off from the tour group since we had LondonPass for entrance and managed to wander the State Rooms and Royal Chapel ourselves but otherwise didn't have much time to explore. I can only imagine that the full tour group saw far less (doubt they entered anything) and then were rushed to get lunch. We decided to stay with the group at Oxford and our tour guide took us to all of 3 buildings, not stepping inside any, and then left us 30 minutes to buy some food on the main street. I didn't expect THAT much, but this was certainly not doing Oxford justice...
Anyway, our fault for choosing a 3 place itinerary that realistically requires 2 full days. I would expect that the usual Windsor-Bath itinerary is just as squeezed, so it's really only for those who only want to check off being somewhere and don't care about getting an in-depth visit.
We went on a family trip to London. A tour with Evan Evans to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford was also included. It was a fantastic day. Paul our driver took us everywhere safely and on time. My parents and sister took the Stonehenge tour. Driver was Kevin and guide was Armin Hennessy. They were pretty rude and wasted a lot of time with their unnecessary chatter and trivia.
The bus was very nice and comfortable.
The driver and guide should warm up to catering to people from various backgrounds, language and ethnicity.
We had an awesome time sightseeing Stonehenge and The Roman Baths. It was lovely seeing UK country side away from hectic London city. I would do it all over again. Pleasant tour guide.
Very profesional, went on the Harry Potter studio tour, a wonderful place! Good bus, free WiFi.
Evan Evans did a great job! They brought us right to the filming studios and had tickets for us so we could easily enter the studio. What is nice about this tour was they have transportation to and from London. However if you take longer in the studio then you can just use public transportation. Had a blast thank you!
Total disappointment. Tour canceled at the last minute. No replacement possible. Flight and hotel still cost a lot.

I purchased tickets for state apartments online. Arrived on site everything worked very well respecting the time chosen for the visit. I will return to London and I will definitely evaluate the tours offered.

Really enjoyed this tour. Duncan, our tour guide was just great. His stories and historical knowledge was wonderful and I learned so much about the history of the area and Scotland in general. Stirling Castle was very interesting and Loch Lomand beautiful. Thank you Duncan for making this tour so enjoyable!
