Need to be better organised so clients aren't affected by previous cancellations. If a train is canceled, that should not affect someone's booking for a later train. It's not their train that has been canceled so they should definitely be on the train that they have paid for not one two hours or more later.

Total chaos and desorganisation on Folkstone end before Christmas. Lack of clear signs, directions and no information where to drive. Very bad for the amount you charge for the crossing. Plus one hour delay. Hope this can all be improved.

Eurotunnel is a great way to travel the channel to France and the rest of Europe.
Drive up, check in, wait (usually not that long) and travel. The train is only 35minutes end to end, and if you arrive at the right time i.e. not to early the whole experience is normally very good.

Ok if running well and moderatly busy. Check in get on train and go takes about 75 mins. The 30 minute tine they tell you is how long your on the train. However in 18 years i have never departed on my booked train. This is for both peak and off peak times. A delay is only counted if the train is delayed, it doesnt matter if paying customer's miss it because they are sat in a queue still waiting to check in.This especially applies to the calais side If there is a delay at border control which results in a delay and queues at check in, and despite being there 2hrs before you miss your train its your fault not theirs. Unfortunatly you can only check in a maximum of 2hrs before. How you are supposed to manage this with a 90 minute delay at check in is beyond me.The staff are unhelpful the management dont care and the facilities totally inadequate to cope with the volume of people during peak periods. If you book go off peak to stand a chance.

Always well run and efficient. Far better than a boat! Staff are always friendly and polite, which is amazing considering the problems they must encounter with the delays customers experience getting through customs on the French side.

On arrival the self service check in issues you with a departure letter, these are then called out in alphabetical order (usually 2 at a time) and customers with those numbers are invited to head down to board the train, it is here you will go through passport control and customs before being allocated a number bay (dependant on the size of vehicle) to pull up at, if everything is running on time you will have a ten minute or so wait before being shown down to drive on to the shuttle, then you can relax in your vehicle or stand in the aisles (toilets are at the end of every other carriage) and after 35 minutes you will be in France, as you would have already done border control you can simply disembark the train and join the motorway, there is a petrol garage conveniently located at the exit from le shuttle on the French side in Calais.

Rock Bottom, absolutely no traffic management. Checked in on time. Long passport queue, pulled out for random additional checks. Was put back at end of next queue. Missed train. Only terrible catering from a van in waiting area.

We went there early in order to have a meal before catching our tunnel train at about midnight. Had to find that all the restaurants except the Starbucks which had some expensive sandwiches for us were closed. Who would have thought a major traffic node like that would have such restrictive opening times. You should check beforehand if you want to have a bite and not make assumptions as we did.
