Great travelling experience. It is reliable, largely on time to schedule, and boasts the fastest crossing time from UK to France of just 35 minutes. No Flash photography is allowed on board for safety reasons. You drive your car onto the train carriage and stay in your car for the duration of the journey. However, there are toilets on board for your convenience. The entire journey is very smooth and quiet and a pleasant experience. Once you arrive in France, remember that they drive on the right hand side of the road.

This place is slick. From the English end the check in process and security checks are quick and efficient. There is the equivalent of an airport duty free area, with some food and drink outlets. Loading your vehicle is a simple process in so far as you literally drive onto the train. 35 minutes to cross. Brill

Great way to get across the channel, unfortunately there are many inconsiderate people that start their vehicles before they are asked to and if you're on a motorcycle, you feel like you're in a gas chamber. Honestly!

Despite booking in over an hour before scheduled departure we were allocated to the train after the one booked - then ended up a whole hour late without explanation, and were left waiting on a concourse for ages.

At the cost of a ticket, the services are of poor quality! I passed by a truck, and the bus that took the drivers to the front car was filled to the brim! What anti-emptying rules, what social distance! stained with blood! The only advantage of the tunnel is that you cross the canal faster, of course, if there are no queues! Not to mention the immigrants from Calais who are in the middle of the road

My preferred driving route to mainland Europe. I don't like ferries and the 30 minutes train ride is a breath of fresh air. I dislike the narrow lanes inside the train cars. Not great for medium and big cars (or inexperienced drivers) as there is a risk of wheel damage.

Good way to start the trip. Middle-of-night services available so you can ahead of the game if you're on a long one. Never had any issues here. Staff helpful and place is organised. Actual food and shops a little soulless (chains, no indies) but ok apart from that.

I gave 3* as it's ok - I want to give 5* except there are not the facilities -also my opinion is based on not going by ferry which I find terrible - finally the journey takes about 2hours by ferry - by shuttle 30mins - and you do not need to leave your car and then fight your way back against a thousand romanians - I am a total stranger in my own homeland!!!

I used to use the Euroshuttle weekly years ago when I worked in Bruges. Booking was a bit clunky and always paper-driven. The last time I used it was 2012 and everything was electronic but still a bit of messing around checking in.

This time though, everything was electronic and easy - SMS reminders, numberplate recognition for checking in and the offer of an earlier train since we were in time for it. The train was delayed a little but the announcements onboard were timely, clear and explanatory plus I got SMS apologies too.

I ve always loved travelling via the tunnel and the experience has improved massively in the 20 years since I started.

I have been using this crossing since it was established. Perfect for avoiding the vagaries of the winter seas and a ferry crossing. Even better if you suffer from seasickness. Quick and effortless, very efficient so give it a go!
