Beautiful Building, seating is less than comfortable, staff is ok. selection is pretty large and good. Location is difficult unless coming on foot or by bus. no parking to really speak of in this area.
Public libraries are such a great boon to their cities. I especially like their selection of computer books. The wearable electronics class they had was very engaging and helped me in something I was interested in. We really need places where people (especially) kids can go to read, study, and research besides the old internet.
Excellent establishment.
No problem for the disabled to access.
Librarian, Terra ( I believe that's her name. She has short red hair and has knee issues same as I do.) is always there with a smile and all the pertinent information I am looking for.

This is a wonderful library, full of educational opportunities, for free. I've noticed how some of the reviews on here from individuals who don't like what a free-educational system might look like, are not only negative, but vague and whiny. What kind of people did you think would take advantage of free education? Only people like you? Good luck with that. You can always go somewhere else and pay for your education if you don't like what you see.
The staff here is fantastic. They have been extremely helpful during my job search. Tips on resumes and printing them off. With great recommendations for leisure reading.
i resent paying taxes for this. i know i wont get my way but i wish they would shut the damn thing down
This has to be one of the best libraries in the country other than some of those university libraries with rare books. They also provide free services for things like finding a counselor if you need one, kid s programs, and rooms you can rent to work or study. Right next to public transportation. Clean bathrooms!

Overall an excellent public library offering many services beyond book lending.
Fabulous librarians, fantastic building. Great little nooks to read or work in to tune out the great acoustics. Reserved seating for those who need special accommodation. Fun little coffee shop, but be prepared to eat outside during busy times. The children's area is awesome and one Friday at least a month there is a fun event for all ages. Don't forget to stop by the bookstore next to the coffee shop!
The children's section on the first floor is amazing! Bathrooms are very child friendly with good space for strollers and sturdy changing tables.
Bad WiFi. Make you stay outside in cold weather for hours. So sad. Not worth it.
