Very beautiful and elegant, all the major world luxury brands are present. Prices inaccessible or almost to ordinary mortals. The terrace on the top floor to be seen as beautiful and free. The glass walkway inside the dome is also beautiful.

A bunch of xenophobes!

To have a reduction card (10 ) they asked me to prove that I live in France because I had an European passport(not France). They didn't believe me (I live here for already 5 years working and paying taxes) even after I showed them several proofs. They started to ask my electricity bills!

A big shame for such a store with revenues mostly from foreigners!! ( And with obviously exaggerated prices!)

Will never go back!

Ah Department stores ... Too bad it's so expensive . It's good for the setting, at Christmas time it's effervescence but it's so beautiful. Magic.

Sightseeing from its teras is amazing. there is Nearly 300 degree of viewangle of Paris. Plus so many good looking woman ;)

The Galeries Lafayette Paris is one of the most famous landmarks of France at all, as is the case with the famous Eiffel Tower. The first visit to Paris was memorable in so may ways, and Galerie Lafayette was one of them, surprisingly - having visited Boston and New York NY and more, Midwest with its separate stores, and London too, I did not expect a surprise with so much wonder and pleasure. And that too after visiting the lovely and stupendous sites of Paris, Louvre and Eiffel Tower and more.

I almost did not go there. My hostess told me this was a place worth a visit and I went in spite of doubts, and spent time in a smaller store across the road under the impression that this was it, and thought yes I know it was no big deal. Then I saw a store across the road and thought, let us see this one. And the wonder started.

It is difficult to describe the beauty of the place, the several floors with a circular gallery in middle overlooking a ground floor plaza and - was it? - a skylight overhead. To my surprise and delight, I found a few things worth buying even on the then very stringent small budget of a student, and they were lovely, and on huge discount. Which satisfied my self restrictions so as to not squander the little money I had.

The memory of the store remained forever as lovely as the cherry blossoms on a road across the Seine from Louvre we found on a spring visit much later.

Nice shopping center (similar to the Italian Rinascente). Possibility to go to the toilet also for free. Possibility to buy clothing, accessories, perfumery, food and much more, from many different famous brands.

For the presentation and for the interior beauty of this building. What a shame to put so much attention on Chinese tourists! The Lafayette galleries have become a Chinatown, even the panels are written in Chinese. Better open galleries in China while you're there ...

If you want to buy perfumes, clothing, and many other fancy stuff, this is the place. However, if you're a man, you'll only find perfumes and watches, nothing other than that.

A must when visiting Paris. However, we were very disappointed with the restaurant. Food selection was not particularly large, cashier was not very friendly and tables were not cleared and cleaned.

Everything your heart desires. A fabulous selection and excellent quality.
It's not cheap but acceptable for Paris.

It s always nice to shop at Galeries Lafayette, you can find most of the brand you want here. And the detax process is very easy for tourists. And during Christmas time, the decorations here is always beautiful.

Excellent cocktails, very welcoming staff and very good advice. While visiting Paris, our waiter took the time to point out some cool places to go. We tested one of them and were not disappointed. Great time.

Aesthetically amazing building (interior) shopping is nothing to rave about but there are lots of selections.. Some deals to be had.. More high end stuff.. Mall was a bit too big and made it hard and far to walk to find different things.. Would recommend going just for the architecture

Maison Galeries Lafayette is directly across the street from Galeries Lafayette and Galeries Lafayette Homme. Maison in French means house, and this store sells anything one could possibly need to make a house comfortable and colorful, fabulous and fun. Besides all of the many items that are available for the home, toward the end of October the store begins to sell Christmas decorations. The colors of these Christmas decorations are vibrant, varied, and always exciting. The entire store is so enticing that one could spend hours just shopping and dreaming. The sales people at the store are always friendly and accommodating without being pushy. They will stay and help throughout a customer's many purchases or even just a single item. The purchase is checked, resealed, wrapped (if a gift), and then wrapped again so that the item will be secure, especially for travel. The professionalism and helpfulness of the salespeople at Maison Galeries Lafayette make the shopping experience a true pleasure!

I'm not into shopping but this is the best place to go shopping I have ever seen. Has something for everyone.

I've been really liking their renovations. The main floor foods you with food inspiration and it smells good. The grocery store is beautifully presented, there's a caviste one floor above street level and generally it's easy to navigate beyond ground level where's there's a crowd but it's beautiful so just enjoy it

Fantastic! Two madmen from the opera .. I recommend visiting the top floor .. There is a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower.

Go and buy amazing clothes, bags, watches, perfume and you ll you need, but don t giertet to go to the foodcourt - it s a dream for food & winelovers

Very beautiful place, it houses all brands, both expensive and not so expensive. It is worth visiting if you are in Paris

Extravangant and expensive. Congested and annoying. Capitalistic zombies trying to catch a "sale" every where. The experience could not have been any worst than it was. The two stars are only given because of the roof top with the best view of Paris. The cafe on the roof top is also a match to the above description. I go to the roof everytime i visit Paris. Is the only reason i put foot on Galeries Lafayette.

Beautiful, splendid, but you still have to plan a big budget to be able to have fun.

Has always been loyal to the "Beauty Era" style, and at the same time set the success of famous brand new products. There are also dynamic window displays during the annual festival

Superb view of Paris. Eiffel Tower, sacred heart ... for free! On the 7th floor. The elevator stopped on the 6th and we ended up with an escalator. By cons no possibility to ask. No benches ... otherwise have a coffee but reduced view.

Great market! The circular balcony are beatiful. Must see in Paris, expecially on Christmas

A beautiful place for the La Fayette gallery, which reminds us of the opera, a lot of places to eat a meal, style and glamor on 6 floors. We enjoyed it very much.

The dome and the interior decoration are to be seen. Too bad the terrace is closed.

I can't help but go there every time I go to Paris. Still surprised to see the exhaustion of some major brands in the middle of the week.

It is a historic shopping center from the beginning of the last century, very interesting architecturally for maintaining in many ways the original appearance it had; As a curiosity on the penultimate floor you can see up close the dome, an example from the time of "iron architecture", and also its stained glass windows from the time, almost intact.

This is a shopper's heaven! Billions of thing you can buy here.

Exceptional place for the great variety of goods of all kinds and all the best brands

Excellent shopping place if you like to pick up some branded stuff for your family. They even have facility for instant tax refunding on your purchase if you are purchasing above 176 and you are a non European. You have to carry your passport for the refund. Too much crowded though and if you are looking for some Paris souvenirs for gift purpose, then you might not find much options here.

Unbelievable, the most beautiful mall I have visited, aristocratic and enchanting, what impressed me is that by the time the mall closed, and we were leaving there was a group of workers at the exit who welcomed you and thanked you for shopping from there.

Incredible place where we recognize the inclination of the French for food

The place is very beautiful, clean, quite complete in terms of offer even if we stay on fairly expensive brands. On the other hand, apart from the corners where there are demonstrators of the brands, it is complicated to be served or offered help if you are not tourists. Pity
