This is my second visit to Paris, but this is my first visit to Lafayette. Because I am not a typical Chinese tourist who likes shopping. The Galeries Lafayette near Paris Opera House is relatively low-key from the outside, but the ceiling inside is very beautiful. But in terms of shopping experience and cost performance, I personally feel that shopping at Lafayette is not a very enjoyable process. This is a place I don't quite understand. Why is there such a shortage of toilets in such a top-level consumer place? Finally, when it comes to cost performance, I compared the price of Lafayette and found that after changing the exchange rate, the same type of cosmetics and clothing accessories stores are more expensive than domestic ones, even more expensive than London and Dubai. I know that tax refunds are available for shopping at Galeries Lafayette, but I still have some small questions about cost performance. Especially when shopping at Galeries Lafayette, it seems that no samples are provided when buying cosmetics, and what's worse is that all the counters selling cosmetics have put trial samples inside! Superb store, with a lot of choice. Lots of luxury brands, which offer a huge choice, as long as you go with a portfolio sized for this type of product. The welcome is very polite, and having eaten there, the staff are smiling and pleasant.

If you live in Germany like me and you go to Berlin, go to Galeries Lafayette (the store is smaller there than in Paris).
It has been since September 2007 that I no longer went to the Galeries Boulevard Haussmann.

I don't enjoy shopping but thought we should see this since we were one block away at the Garnier Opera. It just has too much stuff. The dome is impressive, if you can find a place to see it.

Very crowded with alot of tourist from China who cut queues. Long queue for VAT claims. VAT Claim ladies more interested in chatting then processing the claims. Items are over price.
