Under the guidance of the student, there is a lot of room for improvement both within and outside the courses. Planning reading schedules is also very ridiculous. Now, at the end of August, we don t see the school schedules for the coming spring, and when we get on summer vacations, we don t know on what date even the school will continue in the fall.
There has been room for improvement in communication even before the Korona pandemic, which has largely shifted teaching to distance learning. I understand that you have to be self-directed, but there is something wrong if the emails are not answered or if only half of the questions are answered or the answer can be very circular. In some situations, the student may really need support or help so empathy doesn t go far. Thus, the distance learning wing is the correctness of communication and the integrity of the body important.
Students receive second-hand information from older students when guidance is not playing, for example, regarding internships or online courses. No teacher has not told my class or when I discussed it among other students online courses covered several year course talk about the PSP, that they are otherwise independent. Of course, CampusOnline's courses are described with the model "There are courses, take electives". Electives would be nice to take during semesters as well, but due to the lack of planning of reading schedules, it is bad to plan additional courses, possible arrears, or even their own shifts because no one wants to go back to the end.
Another good example of poor communication is the first year of the internship, the internship job search at Jobiil had already been open for a brisk week. Before we were told about the approach to training. The training places for this coming spring came to be booked on Wednesday of this week and we had not received any priming for the spring either.
If teachers communicate then it passes through the elder of the class. That is, they have outsourced the functionality of communication to the shoulders of one respectable student. From this, the student in question gets the effort to pay for a few credits of electives.
All sote students in the school are also in Moodle on a sote bulletin board course, from which the whole teachers also communicate to the course. The only fault is that through this Moodle sent mail gets all the sote side of the students. This is where students email fills up, and in a bad time, an important message can drown in a sea of messages, that is, among the messages that don t apply to you.
The language center has teachers who know the message well. They only communicate to the students of that course, through the Moodle base of that course. This is a win win situation while breaks are avoided.
The Moodle templates of the courses are also copied from one course to another, leaving old instructions, dates, broken links in the plural and old files. We merged with Lahti and got new thesis writing instructions, but still the teachers hung old Saimia writing instructions. Instructions from Jobsteb when Jobiil has already been used for half a decade at least. Equally diligent teachers update the course material. Some of the PowerPoint show that they have been made before I was born. Its blood looks like the old part of Powerpoint layos and fonts. It is not enough for the slide to always show that date in a footnote.
More anxiety also increased among students as the schools went up in the spring. No academic year renewal of drug bills could be completed. In the current semester, the spring load has accumulated, among other things, in this matter. Also, the number of hours in the order of last spring s courses shrank suddenly when moving on to distance lectures.
I believe some sort of metric can be the number of students who drop out of school. It both tells only the situation of those who have found studying too burdensome, challenging, or for some other unclassified reason seen as a solution. Admittedly, it does not tell the state of students in challenging situations.

The whole country is highly against outsiders in term of giving employment to them and the reason is not about competition with the locals as high-skilled jobs are posted all the time but no way a non-local would get it. The Finnish Ministry of Education as well as universities like this one put tremendous amount of effort into marketing to attract foreigners to come here for only-god-knows intention. Foreigners are not qualified for student loan so one should expect to spend from 15k to 24k for four-year study (now multiply that number with tens of thousands of attendants). Nowadays, lessons and content of courses of majority of fields can be found online from multiple sources, thus it is clearly waste of money and time to study here. The culture sucks just like the weather. To sum up, just dont come here because it is not worth it.
