E-Systems Group is fantastic to work with. We order many custom items for different entities and E-Systems consistently provides our company with the best customer service and products. They understand and work with us on expedited orders (usually custom) and they always come through and meet deadlines.
Potential partners be advised. I brought a project to E-Systems Group. I worked with E-Systems and the end user in an effort to finalize the product spec. I received a quote from E-Systems Group with terms clearly stated on it. I in turn provided a quote to the end user with the same terms. The project was won and I issued a purchase order to E-Systems Group with the terms that had been previously discussed. Two or three weeks after issuing my purchase order I received an email from E-Systems Group asking for a credit card so the order could be released into production. I refused and pointed out that I was going by the terms on my purchase order and on their quote. I pointed out that this should have been addressed within days of E-Systems group accepting my purchase order not days before it was to go into production. We were at an impasse. This is when E-Systems Group broke the cardinal rule of the reseller/channel partner community and attempted to circumvent the sales cycle. They went to the end user directly trying to cut my company out of the project, but the end user rebuffed them. Needless to say that there is currently no level of trust between E-Systems Group and my company. Moving forward if I do decide to bring their product to market they will not know who the end user is and I would advise potential partner companies to do the same. Also double check the terms upfront!
