Wonderful resort. We had the best time: beautiful grounds, pool, and room. We took our two dogs, and they loved the resort. Estancia was highly loving to all dogs. They even have a dog menu at the restaurants. The food was fantastic in both restaurants and by the pool. This we the second time staying and it was fabulous.

Estancia is a hidden gem in the heart of La Jolla! My husband and I hosted our wedding there and it couldn t have been more magical and perfect for us! The team at Estancia (Allison) and others were so welcoming and their customer service is truly a priority! We had to postpone our wedding because of covid and they were so honorable and respectful to us with everything going on! I love love love estancia and wouldn t change a thing about our special day! Thanks Estancia and team!
We stayed there for a wedding. When I showered the water wouldn t drain from the bathtub, I tried to use the phone to call the front desk and it was broken. Every line was busy. The toilet would make a horrible sound every time we flushed. Someone threw up in the bushes right next to the bridal suite. No one bothered to clean it up even a day later after we left. There was trash everywhere used masks, gloves. I definitely would not stay there again especially for the price point. Multiple individuals in our group had problems.
Amazing hotel and the employees are incredibly friendly. The rooms are nice, but there is an odd smell in all the hallways and rooms. I think they need to do some maintenance to eliminate that. The hotel itself is really great and we had an amazing stay!
Lovely location with nice rooms and plenty of outdoor space. Numerous meeting rooms and places to eat and relax on the property, keep you from having to go anywhere away from the hotel if you don t need to. I would definitely stay here again!
Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa s service is second to none! The staff fulfilled my party s requests promptly and over-satisfactorily, despite asking at odd times of the day. The staff made sure to have me pleased with whatever I needed.
The overall atmosphere was breathtaking. Despite the surrounding location being filled with what makes La Jolla, the Estancia felt as if I was stepping into a separate reality. From the parking, check-in, rooms, common areas, and all the amenities the resort had to offer, I felt as if I was able to escape from reality for the time being.
Unfortunately, I was only able to stay for a short bit, so the only meal I was able to experience was brunch from the Greenfinch Restaurant & Bar. The unquestionable taste of farm-to-table entree s was nothing short of amazing. Definitely recommend grabbing brunch here if you have the time!
All in all, I had a great experience, and am looking forward to booking my next travel with the hotel!
Serenity at its best! The SPA, the rooms, the gardens, the proximity to golf and ocean, and of course the food all make this a perfect getaway for a local staycation or a full vacation destination. Shopping with an outstanding staff, GM Eric Jenkins is WONDERFUL - seriously dedicated to his team, each guest, and the property.

Absolutely beautiful hotel!
We had a phenomenal experience during our stay here. The food was delicious, room service prompt, the front desk staff was very helpful and the rooms thoroughly cleaned. We were here for a total of 5 days and are already excited to book our next vacation to San Diego and will be staying here again! There's so much to see and do between the pool, spa, bars, restaurants, gardens, etc. And you don't even have to leave your hotel to see it. Thank you Estancia La Jolla for making our honeymoon vacation special!
My second time staying at the Estancia and I love it so much! The staff is always so nice and the grounds are beautiful! Mustangs and Burros is a great place to grab drinks and a light bite. Hoping to return for a third time soon!
