Quite an amusement park in Mumbai itself. Located in the noth of Mumbai towards the coast it offers a decent variety of games and rides for all age groups from 2 years to 60 years.
The food too is good quality especially with Chinese food and Dominoes Pizza being available.
Travel should be from either Borivali West ferry route from Gorai or via Mira Bhayandar for the road route.

Nice place. Good for kids. But entry rates for unlimited rides are very high. Rs.1050 for adults and rs.750 for kids above 3.3ft height. Annual pass is rs.1590 for 3 visits . For elderly people who does want to sit on rides, there is a good option for them, pay rs.390 which includes rs.90 for entry into essel world and rs.300 as prepaid balance in card, which can be redeemed in rides or food. Personally i feel essel world needs a makeover as the same rides as seen since last 20 years.

Must place for young kids...go in off period to avoid rush time

Been there 5 times...still u explore more everytime ! You may find some rides where just cant stop frm yourself frm going again and again..like shot n drop, top spin, dashing cars

Full of enjoyment. Indian Disneyland. Awsum rides and experience. Rainbow ride gives a very nice view while Thunder ride gives a unique view altogether. Lolz...

It's a destination for the family or group of friends. Its a full day activity if you want to enjoy this tour. They have various activities. The charges are reasonable here. However there are some rides you should avoid if you are scared of the height. Or alternatively you may go to water Kingdom just next to essel world. Water Kingdom has all the activities which are water based.

Not good as it use to be, there are many theme parks now.. not suitable for travel for people living in central line

Place is good but Sunday is very bad to visit Esselworld it's too rush on sunday.

Essel World is one of the oldest amusement park in India.The rides are awesome

The rides are pretty old and are nothing thrilling. Probably the best ride I'd the Shot n Drop and not cause it's scary. It's cause it gives you a beautiful view of Mumbai. U can visit it once but it's nothing that will blow your mind. Also, if u wear glasses then put on ur contacts before going there cause no ride has a place to keep your belongings. They say that ur glasses will not fall off. But my friends Glasses fell off during a ride, but luckily it was right next to him. Well that's my review. Thx:)

Water kingdom rides were amazing specially wave pool and amazion river ride

No need to buying the express tickets for weekdays. There is not much crowd. The rides are in good condition. Many eating facilities. Cleanliness is good.

After a while the rides get repetitive .The theme park is great for children or teenagers as the rides are a bit compact and it would be difficult for an adult to sit on one.

A must visit but don't buy esselworld and waterkingdom tickets together one day for each is required if you really want to enjoy to the fullest

Go and then buy tickets for waterkingdom and spend your time there

It's an good place for day out in Mumbai with family and friends... Have wonderful ride's for kids and for adults... Go by ferry boat if u need more joy for ur day... Outside food is strictly not allowed... But for infants u can request for carry there food... Inside they have snacks corner and restaurant, they serves good food...
