I attended Esperanza and graduated from its high school in 2009. (At that time it was only a high school) I transferred from Delaware Valley Charter High School and Im glad I was afforded the opportunity of being accepted into Esperanza. A small but intimate institution. Teachers and staff are all very loving, caring and most importantly concerned about the education of the young minds in the inner city of Philadelphia. The work in which is performed really shows through the achievement of it's students. I'd highly recommend this Charter School to any and all of my Philadelphians.

I've been trying to get my child in this school. I filled out many applications and never nothing. I've also have contacted the school and noone ever seems to answer or return a phine call back. I'm tired of being told if she don't have siblings already in the school she won't be able to make it in. Crazy that I've applied at the same time her cousin were all applied to this school and they got in. I wonder what is the deal. And why not give opportunities to others and stop making it a household thing only. The lack of communication really sucks.

The school never let parents really know what's happening with thier kids. Kids get bullied by some teachers or S.T.O and no one will tell you, if your kid speaks up they make it seem like you're child is the problem.

Hello, I'm a student of this fair school and i love it here. But the only problem is presentations, if i weren't nervous to talk in front of the class I'd be a lot easier for me..but that's not the case I'd recommend teachers to give certain students that can't handle it well to present only to the teacher after school hours, or at least a student/teacher talk to discuss when they should show up. I know I'm just a student and I'm learning but making everyone present in front of the class can sometimes be humiliating or stressful, but in some cases a stress ball or sort would be a good option as well. But apart from that everything and everyone in the school are great!
