Though Jon Erickson is a great Attorney and a man that stands behind his word. I couldn t be more satisfied with his representation. But in the beginning it all started with a criminal case. With a civil case to follow. I sat across the table not once but twice from Michael Oppenheimer and he told me this could cost 5 to 10 thousand dollars! But you will get it back in the civil case. Well Mr. Oppenheimer missed the first two court dates, in Kankakee County. This after giving a 3300 dollar retainer. I called very upset he pushes off on Jon and now almost Two Years later. WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE REPRESENTING YOU IN THE CIVIL CASE. Not trustworthy
My son had his bench trial on 11/30/17 and i must say both Jon Neuleib and Jon Erickson represented him and did a phenomenal job at winning his case, I recommend them! just be patience with them if you ever to hire them as attorneys, they want to get the job done as being winners not losers.

I hired Erickson and Oppenheimer, namely Michael Oppenheimer to represent my son November, 2011. He was as well as his staff diligent in his representation of my son. As of March 6, 2014, my son is final cleared of all charges against him. My son initial charges was UUW and Possession. December 2011 the charges were upgraded to Armed Violence, with the upgraded charges the rate was pretty reasonable considering the circumstances. But I don't think I could put a price on my son's freedom. The Law office of Erickson and Oppenheimer was the best thing that ever happened the my and my son life!!!! I don't think I could've made it without their support. This has been 2 years and 4 months of pure stress for me, but I always had FAITH in the ability of my son's attorney. My son is currently a client of Jon Erickson. I met Jon in 2007, he was representing someone on a serious charge. He reminded me of Perry Mason. He dealt with all the fine points and won the case. I followed him out the courtroom and ask him if he would fight for a black person the way he fought for that white person in there and he said yes. So when my son was charged with a few serious charges I called Jon.Today the trial started and Jon was "AMAZING" to say the least. An officer accused my son of hitting him which was not true. Jon picked the officer's story apart, highlighting all the inconsistencies in the officer's story. I was so happy I finally found an attorney who would work for me. When I hired Jon the only thing he promised me was he would work very hard on my son's behalf and so far he has come through. Now tomorrow is the last day of the trial and I hope and pray things work out for my son. I will keep you posted. Well, Jon did it!!!:) He was found not "GULITY" what a blessing. I'm so excited.
