If you want to understand a little bit more about the history of WW2, then this is a good place to start.
From old Beetles to Bomber Aircrafts, you will see the ingenuity of Humanity under War situations, unfortunately for the wrong reasons, but instead be astonished by the creativity put in by those people in that era
This is an absolutely incredible experience! Jack's passion for aircraft is a great tribute, to our Veterans and realy touched my heart.
Huge collection of historic aircraft. Every one of his planes is airworthy. Check for hours during COVID times.
Very well maintained WWII aircraft collection. Beautiful super clean building. Definitely worth the visit and small entry fee.
What a fantastic collection of World War II era aircraft! From my understanding, all of these beautiful planes can fly. This place is a hidden treasure that I would highly suggest visiting if you are in the area.
$9 admission for adults. Closed on Mondays. What a wonderful collection! Where else can you get up close and under the belly of each vintage airplane on display? Staff on hand were very knowledgeable and friendly. Will visit again!
Im a truck driver and have driven past this place lots of times, I got to visit at last, well worth the visit. This is not some low class museum. The place was extra clean, the ticket lady was more then helpful, the planes are all top rate and great shape and most of them you can look inside of.
A nice little gift store, with some American made items. I parked the truck at the fuel stop on the corner and took the short walk over. I would stop again and would take the family, looking around you can tell the owners take pride in there museum.
'A Must Visit for Any Pilot'. A truly remarkable collection of WWII & other aircraft. Make sure to check the hours of operation be you go. During the week and early is the best time to visit to avoid the crowds. There's also a souvenir shop with some fairly nice items.. Super clean and very modern facility. Located at/on the Madras Airport.. Fly-in, land and visit the Museum.
Very much worth the time. The planes and descriptions are very informative.
A couple great cars on display too - including a '49 Packard.
