Equity National Title Company Review

In my opinion, a representative of Equity should communicate directly with the customer PRIOR to the closing. The Equity representative should inform the customer what the role of Equity is, what to expect , and the names of any Equity employees who will be interacting with the customer. I had the pleasure of talking to James O'Donnell and he took a lot of time to listen and to understand and to take action on the issues I raised with him. I was very impressed by Mr. O'Donnell and his commitment to quality customer service.

Ana DaSilva is professional and very knowledgeable about the entire purchase process. It is clear that she cares about her clients and her service goes above and beyond. I could not have been in better hands to have her working hard ensuring everything went smoothly. The closing experience was excellent!

"If it ain't broke..." sums up my recommendation for improved service. I do not know how you can improve since it was exceptional already!

Our Notary was very prompt in arriving for our at-home signing. Everyone wore masks and we actually were able to social distance. We appreciated that and I know she did too. Took about an hour, signed our names over and over but all forms are necessary for all parties involved. Our notary was very professional and explained each document before we signed. We appreciate the time she took to make this experience painless. Thanks!!

Our loan servicer was great- helpful, competent, even reassuring when things slowed or went into the black box of Underwriting. One process we did not experience for the closing was receiving and signing e-docs b/c of a Trust situation, so can t comment on that.

Worst experience ever! One word of advice for you, STAY AWAY FROM CONDUCTING YOUR CLOSINGS WITH THIS OFFICE. Staff and attorneys have no clue to as to what they are doing.

The signing I completed for the Maceda was interesting because the non-borrower, Stella, had such a long name that her Social Security card and her Driver's License couldn't fit her whole name on them. Her Permanent Resident card, however, had her whole name, but had her last name on the back of the card as it also couldn't fit on the front side. I did send a copy of her D.L., S.S. card and her Permanent Resident card with the package.

The closing was a very pleasant experience. Got all the documents beforehand with enough time to review and ask questions.

Ana handled tough scenarios related to my closing very professional. Very likely I will be using them in all my future Closings

I think all together smooth transaction. As this was my first experience with refinance, it took close to 1.5months for the refinance which probably must be a standard time for any refinance, as it involved appraisal dispute, also dealing with previous title agency's mistake in data entry. which i think added a little delay to entire process.

Kevin Turner did an excellent job in coordinating the closing of this loan. I had to change the closing a couple of times but made it stress free and easy!

Equity National Title provided additional information within the closing package explaining the process for completion of the form(s) and provided examples as well. I learned new things concerning the Maryland WH-AR process based on the information provided. The package was unusually larger in volume, but I understood and appreciated the purpose behind it. The package was very professionally and skillfully prepared which aided in my general explanation to the signers. I was very impressed with the structure and adequacy of the package being this was my first time contracting with them.
