Great view across the water, definitely sit outside if the weather permits. The food was good although we found the menu to be somewhat limited, especially when it comes to dessert options. Service was accomodating, even when we asked to switch tables. Would return here again to see if the specials have changed, since the braised short rib was very unique and a highlight of the evening.
Not as good as the first time we dined here. The Ribeyes were extremely fatty. I could barely chew the pieces.
The sides are nothing out of the ordinary, very expensive mash potatoes and mushrooms.
The Cauliflower Soup and Onion Rings were delicious and so was the crabcake. The beverages we ordered were tasty. Service was friendly and timely.
Perhaps we will come back and try different Items.

Amazing place...the food is great, wine list and cocktails the same, and you can't get a better view anywhere else. Everything is done perfect
The staff, room, appetizers, and sides were all very good to great. Unfortunately, all 3 steaks were cooked incorrectly and inexcusably all the same temp, rare. We ordered 1 med rare., 1 med., and 1 med. well and they were all rare and not even a good rare. They were mushy.
Additionally, there was little to no salt added to the steak before cooking. The flavor wasn't deep even when they returned after refiring.
I would also expect management to be concerned if 3 steaks from one table were sent back but nobody besides the waiter seemed concerned.
To finish up, the steaks were a 2 out of 5 but everything else was a 4.5. Everyone can have a bad night and maybe we were the victims of the grill person having one.
Would I try it again? No. But I wouldn't complain if a friend wanted to go there.
I called to make a reservation for a party of 8. I spoke to Mary who had the worst customer service. She stated they would be unable to accommodate a party of 8 on the date and time I was inquiring about. I asked her what times she had available for outside dining and she pointedly stated that they could not accommodate a group of 8 and they could not split the group into two tables. I then asked if I could make two reservations and Mary stated that I could call and reserve twice, but if at any point her or the manager suspected that both tables knew each other, our reservations would be cancelled and we would be asked to leave. I asked for further clarification, as I have NEVER heard of a restaurant doing this. Mary simply said that this has been done in the past and the staff ends up unhappy and everybody ends up unhappy. She then very helpfully (sarcasm), said that this was not a COVID measure and repeated her initial threat about how our reservations would be cancelled if there was indication that we knew each other. I really really want to try this place, but if the service Mary provided is any indication of the service at the actual restaurant, then that is enough to deter me.
Fantastic, friendly, and attentive service. Fabulous food. Spectacular views. Warm, comfortable atmosphere. And tasty cocktails. I will certainly make it a point to visit Epic each and every time I'm in San Francisco.
Great place with amazing views of the bay bridge and outdoor patio seating. The drinks were potent and the steaks were excellent. This is a great place for a date night or a celebration. Epic gets busy so definitely make reservations ahead of time. $$$$
Overall nice experience. Place is decorated beautiful, service is great as well... the only thing is that the food was just..ok... nothing exciting or super delicious that you want to come back for.
Delicious dishes, costumer services first quality, nice view, elegant and our waiters the best... wonderful evening!
