Envy Nightlife at Route 66 Resort and Casino Review

How do they get a five star review. Ohh they delete the bad reviews like the one I posted a month ago....

I haven't really experienced the hotel,, I like the entertainment musical concerts, and they something for kids too, so they can be occupied,, also 2for1,, that's what we go for too,, to eat..

Great location ! My first place to hit a jackpot!!!

Very nice room, Comfortable beds, no smoking room smelled fresh and clean. Many restaurant options in casino. Would stay here again for sure.

This is a great place for truck driver to do a 34-hour reset. Truck parking is separate from regular Casino customers. There are number of food choices in both the travel plaza and the casino along with $5 showers and $1 laundry. Be sure to get a player's card in the casino what do you gamble or not there's usually some kind of a deal that comes with it for example two for one on the all-you-can-eat buffet or half price for a single

I've played here and taken the kids here, eaten here, and stayed here! It's great all around!!!

I enjoyed the Main Street restaurant inside the casino. They made a delicious breakfast burrito with spicy green chillies. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to stay.

It's a good place for a truck driver to have a good buffet meal at a reasonable price and it's quieter than a truck stop. I don't gamble but it is available.

Would it kill you to have warm water in the lavatories? I mean people lose enough money in your Casino...

Lost some money.but had a blast.hosts was great and food is the bomb.

Awesome place to stay. Great and friendly staff and good food. Only complaint is there were no smoking signs every where but the whole place smelled of smoke, especially our supposed non-smoking room.

Love the staff they really know how to make you feel like family

Was here for a job interview, so take that into account when reading this review. I though the casino was well maintained: the machines all seemed clean, everything was nicely kept, the staff greeted me as I entered the main floor and was very friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

Dont play slots here. The machines never win. They just take your money. At lease in Las vegas I can play slots and win a little to a lot. This is the second time I've been here. Thought I would give it another chance then write a review. There was about 6 months between visits. And as they say this place doesn't pay out. Never stopping here again!!!

If you love Route 66 you've got to see this casino. Lots of souvenirs and just a very nice place.

They threw us off the property because we were stranded with our 3 year old daughter out of gas lost our debit card waiting for money to be sent so we went to the gas station next door and they proceeded to call security there too and throw us off property knowing we had a child in yhe car and out of gas what kind of person or place does this and it was because we were white

Spent a while on the slots playing keno. The casino is very clean and easy to get around. Not too loud and plenty of variety of machines.

Fun place to go on the weekend. Went for Bill Burr. Best show.

I don't know about there slots but there table games are not legit. DO NOT PLAY BLACK JACK HERE!!! Stop by here every time I drive by. for the past year i stopped here maybe 30-40 times always playing black jack. The best I ever raised my overall bankroll was 250 bucks and that was after I bought in at 2000 playing 50-100$ bets. Really really hard to win. And they hand shuffle too. I asked the pit bosses here multiple times if they could please show me all cards in the shoe before next shuffle. They declined every time. And I was the only one at the table so its not like it would inconvenience other players. anyways you've been warned so good luck if you still wanna try to beat them. I am down a lot of money with this casino. However I am up at skycity, firerock. And before I start playing at those 2 casinos dealer has no problem showing me that all cards are present before shuffleing. GOOD LUCK!!

Nice clean fun environment, however they only have the tables open at certain times.

Customers wanting a drink in the concert venue / theater are forced to stand in line for 20-30 minutes to get a drink. Service needs improvement

Nice place. Good rewards program. Only problem I can never win at video poker. I have not seen anyone hit a big jackpot on poker machines.

I love eating here for seafood, it has a variety of options and the quality of some foods was great. I was very impressed with desserts, it seemed as if they improved. Waaay, better than Santa Ana. Also our server was awesome!

One thing I didn't like was how the cashier rudely said "what do you want?" While we were waiting in line to pay, she no where near had a service voice and didn't make it seem as if her register was open, so I didn't approach her register until she rudely asked.

Very nice rooms, but the hotel is way to Smokey and when we were sleeping all we smell was smoke in our room.

This place used to be great!
Today when we finally got to check in, we found our room had no soap. When I went to the front desk, again, I was told it because the entire hotel WAS OUT OF SOAP.

Ready for Covid-19. We had a real nice time and food at Stadium 66 is great.

The food was good. The prime rib was the best. Buffet is big. The bathrooms are clean. They have free drinks. 12.99 a person. It's open every day.

38 Special left me with headache. Music way to loud could not hear the singers. Waste of money. Never again

this place is good for adults and children if you want to gamble then you could put your kids in a kids quest and it is really funn

I won huge! And Thunder Road, the steakhouse is marvelous and the wait staff is wonderful!

Great place to see concerts and stand up comedy. Could use more beer stands tho.

Review of buffet only: Considering the location (inland, desert) and the price ($35) it's consistently the best option around for casino buffet style snow crab legs. Not too salty, bottomless pit continually filled, never have to wait. Most other stuff on the buffet is decent. Oysters are hit or miss (seasonal?). There is a clam sautee bar ....clams are good but way buttery and salty and there's always a line.
Certainly far from coastal-fresh seafood, but I go regularly because like I said, best/most economical option in NM.

One of my favorite places to go. The staff is always friendly no matter where in the resort you go. The rooms are very nice. It's a great place for a romantic getaway.
OH, dont forget, on Friday's and Saturdays, they have Cosmic Bingo. It can be a bit loud, but it is a blast.

Have stayed Route 66 Hotel numerous times. The rooms are quiet, clean and very comfortable. Very good food and so much more.

Family and I stopped here on a whim and it was a win for everyone. The casino is clean and casual with fun themed slot machines like the Simpsons or Seinfeld. There is an on-site childcare area that is paired with an arcade. My LO had a great time playing games like musical chairs; climbing the indoor playset; playing video games and ordering his own food. You can even limit menu choices like a no candy or soda request. The childcare service is reasonably priced. We enjoyed the cowboy buffet which featured a salad bar, an American comfort foods station, Asian inspired, Mexican dishes, and pasta area. It's not an amazing buffet but fair for price. I would definitely cone back.

It turns out this is a party hotel. We didn't get much sleep. Can't recommend this hotel if you want to get some rest. Concert venue was fine.

Saw Chris Angel, show was absolutely awesome! Hate that they still allow smoking in this casino. Won't be my go to due to the smoke.

Delicious carne asada tacos at the bar, and the bartender she was very sweet .

The buffet is delicious and has a good variety of food.

My husband and I attended a wedding and stayed at Route 66. Check in was great, front desk staff were friendly. The room was big and clean,but the pillows are extremely
big and uncomfortable to use. Was unable to sleep due to the huge pillows and hard, hard mattress. Slot machines and Bingo were great, won money playing at both. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Lesson learned is to bring my own pillows.

Great slots , yet no designated non- smoking players room unlike competing area casinos.

Love this small little casino just would be better if you could have alcohol at the slots. They make you stay in the bar with it.

Great place to stop without going to far off the path

Stadium 66 has fresh cut fries that were delicious. That with a 7k ipa, for less than $10, made me a happy camper!

Just another no thrills Indian Casino. Buffet was lacking. Ate there on Thanksgiving day 2017. Service was very slow.

Hate how smokey this place gets. Went to a show at the Legends Theater and now I have to walk through a haze of smoke? NO WAY!

Very nice and room price was good. Food was good. Would go back.
