I've worked here for 3 years. Alot has changed for the better since I started. Eqr has allowed me to grow and obtain alot of training. Eqr is for their employees in everyway possible. I have nothing bad to say. Management is great and the people I work with are like my family away from my family. Eqr offers a fare wage. At the end of the day Im a devoted employee and highly recommend employment here as well as what we as a company produce.
Great place to work and even have a career or gain the experience needed to move farther into the field of water quality. It is hard work and mostly Field positions, (outdoors) with year round work. If you like the idea of helping the environment and can bring basic skills to the table, i.e. show up, on time everyday, and care about the work being done. You will go far!
A couple days ago one of their trucks (v113) was spilling small rocks all over 270 north hitting my truck and many others, called to tell them about it and they just sent me to management voicemail and never got a call back. Rather unprofessional.
Worst company to work for they hired me to drive a CDL truck they only had 4 trucks my second week i was assaulted by one of thier employees. I was treated unfair at this company they fired me over a parking spot yes please believe me a parking spot. They had me driving a 450 Pick up truck nobody there in the office have CDL but the lazy mechanic and the bias hiring manager don't work for this company. Company needs to be reported to the BBA & STATE OFFICIALS.
Working at EQR was fast-paced, fun, and helped me learn a lot about our environment. I would have stayed here if I wasn't relocating further away. They are good people with a great mission and I very much enjoy my job.

Great place to work if you enjoy being outdoors. Very interesting and rewarding field of work. However today was my last day with the company after 3 years of service. I provided them with a letter of resignation 1 week before my last day. Not one person from management responded to my email so my only way of communication was with HR. After days of waiting I was told on my last day of work from HR that management had said I had to return all equipment, including the company vehicle before the end of the day and that I was responsible for finding my own way home (Millersville, MD to Frederick, MD). Management is childish. They throw shade at people for trying to better themselves. They d rather see you fail then succeed. If you want to work with people who act like ADULTS then EQR is not the place for you.
