Had a really nice time here. The food was beyond good and the waitstaff was one of the best I have encountered. I knew people's names by the end of the meal. See the attached video of our special, tableside-prepared, flaming dessert that was actually really tasty as well as quite the spectacle to behold. I had the Margharita flatbread with grilled chicken and it was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend planning ahead on coming here. Definietly was very crowded, and we were happy we had a reservation. Plenty of overflow area at the bar, though, it looked to appear.

This is the hidden gem in Billerica for Irish food. I definitely enjoyed my experience here as the waiters/waitresses were very friendly, and the food came out fresh in large portion sizes! Apparently there are also concerts that occur here frequently as well.

Extremely comfortable ambience, a bit cooler by the doors to patio. Excellent service, off the chain appetizer's, tastey too(lol). Excellent entree's, can't go wrong with your choice. Bon Appetit.....

Words can not describe how perfect the chef had made our two plates. One was; meatloaf wrapped in bacon with rice pilaf and ((mixed steamed, I believe)) veggies. And the other was; medium well steak tips with mashed potatoes and again, the same veggies. The veggies came with broccoli, onions, carrots and red peppers. The mixture was phenomenal.
The meatloaf wrapped in bacon was to die for as I would put it. Succulent and juicy, not dry at all. Cooked with a slight crisp on the edges. No pink, in the middle which was great too!
The steak tips were cooked correctly, which is super awesome. I dont like when you go to a restaurant and they are unsure of how to properly cook your meat to your liking. Even though we ordered it medium well, it was still nice and juicy, tender, but cooked all the way through, just the way we like it!
The mashed potatoes where actually mashed, which is great. No one likes a chunky mashed, haha. And they were nice and creamy, soft, and had just the right amount of butter and a slight seasoning to add to the flavor!
Also, we had orderd the pretzel bites. I believe it was suppose to come with some sort of dipping sauce. But when it came down to this one minor mishap, that they forgot or maybe I was suppose to ask for it, who knows? Either way the perfectly sea salted and lightly buttered, very soft pretzel sticks where absolutely delicious. Never had a better baked pretzel and I'm not joking!! Even if the sauce was suppose to be included, I probably wouldn't of used it anyways. The pretzels were perfect as is and didn't need all that extra jazz, anyways.

Enough about the food, the service was amazing too, couldn't have been better! All of the people I encountered during my short stay to receive my to-go order, were more than helpful.. the two waitresses. The chef. The bartender. And i believe maybe the kitchen manager, as it appeared in my opinion. Everyone was upbeat, smiling, friendly, and very helpful! They made sure I had all my utensils, napkins, salt and pepper and my ketchup as a condiment. The smiles and beautifully rich atmosphere is what really did me in, to top it all off...following after such great food and service!
Too bad there is not an "Emerald Rose" near my hometown. ...Looks like we will be visiting Billerica just for this sole reason!
Well a big, bright, shiny five star rating is in order for this phenomenal restaurant. Again. Thank you to all whom have helped me with preparing our lunch today. Your awesome and deserve a nice pat on the back :)

Were not served because our Washington state licenses didn't look like Washington DC licenses. She wouldn't even look when we pointed out her mistake and tried to prove that our licenses were OBVIOUSLY the same as the Washington STATE sample license in the book. I mean, if you really don't want a tip, I won't force the issue. Maybe I should start looking more my age when I'm in Boston. I'll take it as a compliment.

Lots of positive reviews about the Friday night prime rib special for $19.99. Plus one here on the prime rib. Large serving, cooked as ordered and very high quality. Nice option of having either the restaurant or bar depending on your mood. A little out of the way for non locals. If you live within a half hour and like Irish offerings put this place on your short list. Wait staff was good. Didn't feel ignored or rushed, good service. Price vs value took a solid 4 star to 5 star in a heartbeat.

Okay so here's the deal I went to this place. The food was good the service was good. I have to tell you though that the hired help bust there butts off. And they will bring in there people to do the work that needs to be done. In any condition that they are in. Even if they are sick coughing throwing up and anything else. And if you don't show up you will get fired. After I seen this I will no longer eat here.

This was a wonderful Irish restaurant, with great traditional Irish foods and drink.
There is a separate area for the bar, and the dining room. This is really nice, because we can choose whether we're gonna be a little bit more Baarish or a little bit more family-ish. :-)
this is a pretty good, and the atmosphere is really Irish and fantastic. There are live bands, and the bar staff is really great on these busy nights . They get very busy, and they serve very quickly and accurately . Overall, great place! Thank you Emerald Rose. :-)

Not impressed. Ordered takeout, just two Emerald Rose salads with 4 steak tips on one and 1 crab cake on the other for $43. Tips were chewy and undercooked (i couldn't even eat two of them!) and the tomatoes were rock hard. Lettuce and avocado were fresh. Not the first time I've been disappointed by this place. Won't be back.

wow are they busy on st patrick's day, line out side waiting for them to open,,,,,,,big bar on one side a more reserved dining area on the other, they did a great job on st pats, seemed well staffed and had lots of music. lot of help who were running their butts off......food WAS GOOD, especially considering how busy they were, wife thought the haddock sandwich was excellent and the reuben was certainly very good...decor is attractive.....nice place, we were here a while ago but this is the first time on a st pats day and they handled everything well!!!!

Great service. Great server. Great food. Had everything set up for us prior to arriving. It was chill in the dining room. The food was very good, they were awesome about letting me switch things around with my meal. The server was absolutely fantastic. Very attentive. Kind. Made sure we were completely tended for. This is my second year coming here for orthodox Easter. All in all it was a 10. We were very fortunate to have such a great experience. Will definitely be back next year. I think it's probably a good place to enjoy the game and a brew. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I visited The Rose today for lunch with a large group of people. Our waitress was great and happily accommodated all requests. I had a fresh Caesar salad topped with lobster. It was delicious. We had a fun relaxing lunch.

Definitely an area favorite. Great beer selection and decent food. If you can get a table on St. Patrick's day I would suggest you take it, they serve some fantastic corned beef. I'm pretty sure that's the only time they have it on the menu too.

Dozens of great craft beers on tap, poured by an amazing staff of bartenders. The food is fantastic, and while the majority of the perfect menu remains unchanged, they do swap out some dishes seasonally to keep it interesting. Two thumbs way up!

The food here is consistently good. It is moderately priced. They do not have a children's menu. The Irish soda bread is moist and served with dinner at no extra charge. Desserts are decadent. This is a half eaten chocolate Irish whiskey brownie sundae.
