Food was DELICIOUS! We ordered to go and the quality and portions did not disappoint. Cobb Salad was fresh, and chicken pot pie tastes like it was freshly prepared. Server was incredibly friendly, and the whole meal cost less than $30. Very happy, will return soon!

A great restaurant. We found the bar side a bit noisy, as you might expect on a Saturday afternoon, so we moved to the restaurant side which was busy but quieter. Seatings were comfortable. Service, waitstaff and food were all excellent. Fine dining at moderate prices. Highly recommend.
I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is flavorable and the team is generous and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we pass a delightful time. warmly recommended.
Food was ok... not great. Everything was rich without the balancing acidity or bitterness that would have made it great. Little expensive for the quality. Lots of gluten free options though
We came here a few years ago for the first time for Mother's Day, and I enjoyed it so much, we now come EVERY Mother's Day. Tonight my 17 yr old chose it for her Birthday dinner.
Excellent selection - everyone in the family finds something they love. Food is very tasty. And the service is warm, friendly, and attentive.
Absolutely comforting and attentive service for a group of 20 on July 3! Food was fabulous and drinks even better. Kudos to the kitchen, staff and management. Thank you.
My heritage is Irish so my expectations were high! We've been twice now, and I can't say enough! So so yummy. I had the Bangers and Mash my first visit, which was phenomenal.. and I had Shepherd's Pie on my return visit, which was absolutely to die for. Their bread is out of this world, and the service is fantastic. I would eat there every day if I could afford to!
Your server will determine how you will rate this place. The food is almost always good, not great but pretty good. It is very expensive (1 burger, 1 salad(with steak tips), 2 beers and 2 tequila rocks was almost 80 bucks) but I don't mind paying for good food and service. On my last visit my server was to busy to check back after dumping off my food, so there I sat with no drink for most of my meal and I wanted condiments. I questioned the server about the 2nd tequila I was served because it was clearly Silver. She told me it was Patron Gold. There is no such tequila. Patron is either Silver, Reposado or Anejo (and a few other high end tequilas not typically served at bars) and each carries a different price. I drink alot of tequila and can not only see the difference but taste it as well. If I order Anejo, I'll gladly pay for Anejo. I will find another place to spend my money when they don't refund the difference. It was probably 2 bucks difference. I was more disappointed with the poor service.
Nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Good food. Nice variety of craft beers. Adult atmosphere but family friendly as well.... A year later and its still great.
It was a very great eating experience I had the bangers and mash and my girlfriend had the seafood dinner. It was in a nice Irish Pub with great service
After a couple of people enjoyed dinner at the Emerald Rose, I decided to take my family there for Mother's Day. The place is kid friendly and staff seemed to enjoy having little ones in. The food was really very good. My table started off with Irish Bread with the house butter sweetened with a hint of Maple. We had the Baked Haddock, Baked Lobster Pie, and two Pan seared Atlantic Salmon with Lobster Risotto. The latter dish was the star offering for sure. We were all very pleased with our dishes. They have an good number of taps. I ordered a "Black and Tan" (Guinness and Bass). I intend to try their late night menu with a few drinks soon. I would highly recommend the Emerald Rose
We went to see the band...live music...it was awesome...a huge shout out to the bar staff...they are incredible....high level of service even when there was a huge number of patrons!! Food was very good and drinks are well done!! Try it I'm sure you will like it!
I absolutely loved this place. The nachos are great. They were above my expectations. I got the braised beef short rib and it was fantastic! I ate everything on that plate except for the bone. It was delicious. Service was excellent and our waitress was extremely friendly and funny! The atmosphere was excellent.
Had one of the better pastrami samiches I have had in a while . My uncle got seafood which I stole a bit of it was super fresh and cooked well. it pricey but I guess the ambiance is fancy enough to warrant that .. all and all a pretty cool irish upscaled pub-ish kinda fancy place.
Was suggested this restaurant by some locals while I'm in town on business. Being half Chinese and Half Irish I was intrigued by the idea of Irish Eggrolls and they were everything I hoped they would be. Service was fast and pleasant and the atmosphere was delightful.
This is a great place to eat with friends or colleagues. Was able to eat flavorful food and have a great conversation with the guys. By the way awesome deserts.
A tad pricey, and it would be nice if they had a wider variety of options. But the food is good and the staff has always been nice to us. We've been a few times and when brought our 18m old with us, and despite his excitement and accidentally throwing silverware, they have something been patient with us haha
The tables are pretty close to each other, so be careful when going through the dinning area haha
Great place for dinner any day of the week. Bangers and mash, Shepherd's pie, and other items always prepared well...often go there when the wife has a hankering for their Shepherd's pie.
I liked this restaurant. We went there for lunch with work people. I was surprised by the affordable prices and really good tasty food. I would definitely go back there for lunch or dinner.
I have been going to the Emerald Rose for the past 20 years. Sometimes I eat in the restaurant, but mostly I eat at the bar. Or maybe I'll just stop by for a drink or two. My experiences at the Emerald Rose have always been outstanding. I like the roominess and cleanliness of the pub. The servers and bartenders are always helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous, without ever being pushy. And service is always prompt and meals are prepared to your wishes. It is also a great place to meet friends because of the large bar area. One of the best restaurants north of Boston!
Awesome place! Gluten-free menu! Top 10 pub-grub places I have been to. Each item was perfect and taken either a notch or even 2 above what would be acceptable. Had 10 for lunch and the apps and meals were delicious.
Lovely place, great service and good food. Eclectic menu. Irish orientation. There for lunch. Huge salad, but should read descriptions of food before ordering.
Food is good, prices reasonable, generous portions, clean and tables are not on top of each other but the real standout tonight was Scott. We paid our check and than decided we wanted coffee and our waitress had already clocked out but asked Scott to take care of us. He was great , very nice, brought cream and sugar, checked on us a few times, re-filled up our mugs all for a $1.60 bill. We were VERY impressed.
Very nice Irish bistro. Wide menu selection. I had fish and chips but they let me substitute green beans and roasted squash for the chips at no charge. The Guinness was cold and the perfect accompaniment.
My Daughter Kelly and I were there for dinner on valentine's day the food was awesome and the service was amazing my prime rib was cooked just the way I wanted it med rare. Kelly had the shepherd's pie and she said it was awesome. The prices were very good I thought it was going much higher than it was after I paid the bill we both got a rose it was very nice we will go back soon
This is a top notch restaurant that I highly recommend. The food is incredibly good and the staff is super friendly. The executive chef is always tweaking the menu and adding new and wonderful dishes. If you ate ever in the area, I highly recommend you don't pass this place up.
Bar tending team is always showing a smile and work hard to assure people are taken good care of. We keep coming back and the bartenders are a big part of the reason we do. Always good food and drinks at this nice Irish bar and restaurant. I have not tried the restaurant side; always drawn back to the nice vibe in the bar and occasional live music!
Well prepared food with plenty of choices. Prices are commensurate with quality of meals and atmosphere of the restaurant. Very good place to frequent.
Great bar area. Hadn't been in many years. Stopped in mid February and had a great experience with Danielle and Kristen. We returned a few later and same great experience with Kristen!
Emerald Rose is an Irish themed restaurant and bar. Standard dishes made well. One interesting item, an Irish egg roll. An egg roll skin stuffed with corned beef and sauerkraut. The clam chowder is very good, thick and rich, creamy, like it used to be made in pre heart smart times. The calamari with cherry peppers, spicy and crispy served with marinara the baked haddock and fish and chips were excellent. Apple crisp was well made. Our waitress seemed uninterested, and forgot the asparagus we had ordered (an upcharge item). She apologized when reminded, and when she sneezed (into her elbow) said the manager had sent her home a few days previous due to her cold. So we make allowance for that. High marks to the manager for putting the public first. Nice tablecloths too. In the better weather has patio seating A very well appointed and well run restaurant.
