Emerald Isle Restaurant and Bar Review

We hosted my mom's retirement party from The Colorado State Patrol last night at this fabulous place. The owner, Mel, went above and beyond and made it a very special and super fun evening! Service is always fantastic at this place, too!!

Been coming here for years! I don't even live in Colorado anymore and still always visit while in town.

Atmosphere was great. The service was not good at all. The waitresses would literally walk past us and go to tables that were clearly "regulars". In a 3 hour time period we had to get up and go find the waitresses each time in order to get drinks or food.
If you are not a regular, don't go.

Food was good, temperature a little cool, prices average

Friendly staff and good food. Large patio with views of Cherry creek and the mountains. I am truly surprised by the negative reviews! We've been coming here for over two years, through all seasons, and never had an issue. The food is always good and the staff is top notch even when the place is packed. The only thing I wish they served is onion rings! :)

Super average food. The hamburgers are performed frozen pattys. Disappointing.

The view from the back is amazing! The food is basic bar food. Mexican food (chips from a bag). Service is good.

Great place to sit & relax outside on a huge patio or catch live music. Food is good & the staff always takes care of me.

Brittany is a great bar tender and good conversation. Laid back place to throw a couple back. Nice view from the back porch.

I had the avacado bacon burger, my wife had the enchilada. Food was mediocre at best.

Our service tonight was horrible! In the past it was great with great food, but the guy serving us messed up everything we ordered. How do you forget a round of drinks then not check back for 30 minites, forget water with lemon 3x! And then recommend a cheaper but less appetizing request once we've placed our order? I've worked in the service industry on and off for over 10 years.... He has absolutely no business serving. When I talked to the manager about it, she said it was the owner's call, not hers. I'll come back due to the view but will definitely request another server, this guy was an idiot!

Wow...have been there several times and has always had an OK experience
Was very excited for them reopening. Went in and ate and had some drinks. After a few hours, waited more than 30 minutes to try and pay our tab. After watching the staff and owner do shots I began to get angry. At this point I almost left and was going to come back in the a.m. to pay. Next, the owners "husband" came up and put his hand on my shoulder, yelling at me and VERY drunk. Long story short...staff and owners drink while working and do NOT pay attention to their customers. Will not go back!

I don't really understand the negative reviews. The food is not the best I've ever had, but is very good as are the margaritas. And do was the service. And those damn churro donuts. Oh mmm gee

We're a gluten-free family. We asked for corn tortillas with our fajitas tonight. They sent out wheat tortillas. Before we realized they made a mistake, the waitress came running up to stop us from eating. The fact that they admitted their mistake before we knew it is so very impressive and appreciated!

The rest of the food was also yummy! My 7yo old asked for another hamburger! So we were happy that she liked the protein and fat since she loves carbs. My son raved about the bacon guac burger between bites.

Every aspect was great! We'll be back. It looks like a great winter place, but even better summer place. The deck, during warmer weather looks like it's going to be fun.

Good service we had 10 people and service was great

This place is very laid back and they offer very good food and good drink specials they also have a huge patio that overlooks Cherry Creek Reservoir. The employees that I interacted with on my couple of visits were very professional and friendly

They changed the menu, which isn't bad unto itself. However, the prices have jump significantly, to the point where it's $5 for chips and salsa and $11.99 for a ground beef burrito. Now, the burrito is big, but ground beef for $12 and no guacamole or sour cream. If you want steak, it's a $16 burrito. The food nor the atmosphere was good enough to be priced that high.

Food quality is good, but the menu needs to be refreshed / updated as it has been the same for the past 5 years. The best part is watching the sunset over Cherry Creek reservoir on the massive patio!
