I would like to thank Embrace for assisting in the care of 2 of my loved ones who passed away not far apart from each other, one in April and then one in December. It gives my family and I such peace knowing that they both passed away with no pain or anxiety and were surrounded by friends and family.
They were tended to with such love and compassion from this company that we will be forever grateful. The nurses, aides, and chaplains could not have been more caring or gracious....thank you again Embrace.

I can t speak well enough about Embrace Hospice. When it became evident that my 98 year old mother was in need of hospice care we were a little overwhelmed at the options. After speaking with several people in the assisted living business who we had learned to trust Embrace was something they all agreed was top notch. Their advice was spot on. The care the Embrace personnel provided both medically and spiritually during her last 8 weeks was superb. When mom did pass they were a great help in taking care of the details. If your loved one is in need of hospice care I wholeheartedly recommend Embrace Hospice.

I can't say enough about Embrace and the care and compassion they show to not just the patient but family as well. They cared for my Mom and were fantastic. Always asking if we needed anything, always just a phone call away. From her nurse to the social worker and the staff when I called, they were all just great.

I have lived in San Antonio for almost 2 years and the whole time my wife and I had been caring for my father who had Alzheimer's. He was receiving one on one care in our home when his decline began to accelerate from month to month changes to week to week. We decided to have him evaluated by a hospice company and we chose Embrace because they had been extremely compassionate with my wife's Father. Dad had then began to decline day to day. The medical director evaluated him and my father was admitted the same day. His nurse was so involved (and accessible!) in his changes that she was able to keep him comfortable and provide for his needs in spite of the complications that his decline brought. When something would change and we needed to have our fears calmed after hours, they would send a nurse straight out to examine him, make medication/equipment adjustments and compassionately explain what was happening. They all became part of my family at that point. My Father passed away in the middle of the night and they sent a nurse and a Chaplain who both stayed with us as long as we needed - in the middle of the night! This is not just a job to these people, it is their calling. I will never forget my experience with Embrace and how they made one of the darkest periods of my life so bearable. I cannot thank them enough.

We had a short experience, a little over a week, which Embrace Hospice. While the stay was short it will be memorable as the staff that visited us made this transition for my family so much better than it could have been. Everyone from the Admission nurse to our attending Nurse and CNA the experience was better than I could have expected. From the time of my first call to them, Michelle had us set up, came out for the visit and started everyone making their visits to us, but never overwhelmed us, or mom with their presence. When medicine was needed, it was here faster than I could have gone to the pharmacy to get it myself. The medical equipment when needed was delivered and set up the same day. The patience of this team helped us get through this trying experience. They seemed to stay one step ahead of my moms needs at all times, so when my mom entered into a new stage, and had new needs, they were already in place in regards to DME, beds, pads, cleaning products and best of all, training. Showed us how to shower, transfer and keep mom and my family, comfortable and safe. At no time did we feel like we were alone to figure out how to deal with the next experience that was thrown at us. All services were performed in a caring and very respectful way right up until the time my mom left us. Embrace, and their staff including but not limited to April, our RNA attending, Cris the admitting nurse, and even Michelle, the admin that signed us up, were a godsend to my family and I cannot express my sincere appreciation to them. Need Hospice, Call Michelle Garza at Embrace to get the ball rolling! You will not be disappointed.

I was very impressed with Embrace Hospice
and I'm not easy to impress! If I called my Dad's nurse (Darla) she either came by to check on my Dad or was able to answer my questions via phone. If I called after hours or the weekend my questions and Dad's needs were taken care of.
When meds needed to be adjusted when the time came, my Dad was assessed by the Rn, MD notified, orders received and carried out promptly. Thank you Embrace for being there for my Dad and my family during a difficult time. I highly recommend Embrace Hospice!!!!

At the advice of the Assisted Living staff, they recommended that we switch to Embrace Hospice to care for my mom. They were heaven sent!!! They were so caring, had great attention to details and excellent communication. Definitely recommend!!

Embrace Hospice is a company I would highly recommend to anyone. Sadly, my grandfather became very ill last year, and that s when he and the family made the decision to put him on hospice. That s when we heard about Embrace, and the wonderful service they provide. My grandfather was made comfortable every day, and was attended to in a professional manner. They not only provided support to my grandfather but, our grieving family as well. We are all at ease knowing that our grandmother is under the care of Embrace. We have seen a huge difference in her, and how well she is cared for at her facility. When any concerns are questions are voiced, they respond in a prompt manner, and are always available. Supplies are brought to us before they run low. Previous negative comments has not made any affect nor impact on continuing to do service with Embrace.

From the moment Embrace Hospice came into our lives to help us care for our 95 year old dad we have been showered with kindness, compassion and incredible care. Our two main angels are Angela his nurse and Mark , his home health aide. They both go above and beyond to make Daddy as comfortable as possible. They anticipate our every need and make sure we want for nothing....day or night. I can't imagine how my sister and I would be navigating this journey without them.

I would like to thank Embrace for the outstanding care they provided for my mother the last year of her life. My siblings and I are more than pleased with the nurses Erin and Cheri for tending to our mother in such a professional manner. We knew she was always cared for properly with those two nurses. They were very kind, patients, and loving with not only our mother but, us as the family as well. We were always kept up to date with anything new or with a notice that they went by to take a look at our mother. The chaplains were just as amazing. My mother was very religious, and when we asked or requested a chaplain for prayer, there was always one available. Any question or concern, it was always fixed or answered in a very timely manner. Thank you all from Embrace for the care you all provided our mother!
