literally the most painful visa application service ever! imagine a processing time of 4 to 5 weeks for a tourist visa!! they demand 100 documents and (please note) if you the spouse of a french citizen, they don't consider the Livret De Famille - which by French Law is an official document ; as a proof!!!
for a country investing and hoping to bring in tourists - this is a surest way to not have anyone come back for a second time! i certainly won't!!

Nothing to say because it cannot change anything the ay they process it. I just got the visa but my travel date was two weeks before. It was a visa that they can't deny. But they could make it so late so that we cannot travel so its a kind of denial. Applications are untracable once we sent it, (No response either) and wait upto eternity to get it. Ireland remains my favorite place but I dont want to go there anymore. So disappointed. They want only people whom have direct access.

Worst visa experience of my life. They ask for a 1000 papers for just a one week tourist visa.
Not to mention the delay in handling the requests. One month and a half since I've applied and still no answer.
Too bad I've already bought my plane tickets or i would've for sure changed the destination. It's not worth it.
