Deadly place. I got worse in 5 days I was there and they took blood every day--i was given 5 different diagnoses. When I asked for another doctor I was told I had a UTI and sent home. To my shock I read reports. They had been giving me 3 times too much of my Lithium 1800mgs instead of my dose of 600mgs. They were overdosing me--then they sent me a bill for $800.
I did contact CareMore Anthem BlueCross and told them not to pay you for my over extended non productive stay. And I have also written to Emanuel explaining why I would not be paying for such poor hazardous care.

If you need medical attention this is not the place to go. We were told their is only one Dr on duty after placing the third tournaquette on my husband's arm to stop the bleeding. The nurses are amazing and hard working and had the bed tipped back and fluids going to try and bring his pressure back up after so much blood loss. At that point why don't you just hand me a suture set up and some lidocaine
Seriously?! Yah, let's just kill all of the latex-allergic people by using latex gloves in the emergency department, and stacking the only safe alternative gloves right on top of the death gloves! For one they have no room at all for absolutely necessary problems. Me and my mother had to bring my brother to the nearest hospital for his horrendous back and stomach pain. They didn't have room for him to enter on a wheel bed but he absolutely needed one at the moment. He could not sit for the life of any and they refused to even take his side and aid him anyway possible. Point in all of this, this hospital is the absolute worst at maintaining their rooms, they are not prepared to help those who need it and they are not prepared to help anyone with a life or death situation
Out of the 6 hours I was in the waiting room vomiting nonstop. Seeing the actual doctor took less than three minutes. He barely listened to what I was saying. Told me he'd provide me with anxiety meds. And he never did. I was also told due to my asthma I'd be placed on a breathing machine then provided with an inhaler. That never happened either. All I was given was pills to stop vommiting. Not once was the actual problem with my body addressed. He ignored my headaches. Breathing issues and so on. All he did was slap a $198 rx bottle bill on my back whereas 6 days later. I'm still sick as a dog. I want to visit the hospital again. But for what? The only question the doctor did ask me is " do you ever smoke marijuana?" I said, occasionally but not recently. Then immediately he responded with "ohhh you see?? That's the cause.."
If I wasn't so sickly in that moment I would've said something to a manager. Idk. The whole visit was an entire joke. I was left with a massive bill regardless over $2000+ for the visit.

I arrived at 8:55 PM in the E.R. It is now 3:42 AM and I have yet to see a Dr. The hospital is deserted. The laughter from behind my door to the nurses station let's me know someone else is here. I was told by someone nobody introduces themselves..that I would get an Xray, E.K.G and blood work. I did, a little after 9:30PM. Waiting on a room...waiting on a room...hrs. pass, nobody....I called the E.R direct line from my cell..."Did somebody forget about me"? The lady on the phone...not much longer...lol..it is now 3:48AM and still waiting to be seen...would never reccomend this place, nor come back. I will drive to Modesto...
if u love waiting 8 hours just to call you up while you are in major pain then come to emanuel. AND if they have checked ur vitals and sent u out in the waiting room again and wait for like another 4 hours just to call u up again then id recommend this place.But wait theres more after you have been checked out again they will make you wait for another 6 hours just to get ur bill and they charge u like 3,578 dollars for u basically waiting then come to emanuel hospital.
I came in couldn't talk neck swollen told me I had a infection. My the third day I was in so much pain I went to Memorial in Modesto I had a blood clot in my neck and 3 in my arm . The Doctor at Emanuel didn't do any test or lab work only a ex-ray and antibiotic. I have pictures from the time it started. Others have told me not to go here I should have listen.
My mother in law ended up at this hospital today because she lives across the street at Covenant Village. She woke up dizzy & fell & hurt her head so CV rushed her over to Emmanuel. My husband & I arrived in the morning to go see her & literally tripped over old clothes and trash in front of the ER building. I also noticed tons of trash & cigarette butts on the ground. Upon entering the ER area, I noticed how dirty and unorganized it appeared. We went to the security desk to find out what room my mother-in-law was in & the lady at the desk couldn't find her name on the computer! It took the staff at least 20 minutes to locate her room and then we walked to it & no one was in the bed. A nurse did assist us in locating her as she had been moved. Then, we went upstairs to see her. I have to say there were a few nurses on the 3rd floor that were helpful. I was just shocked to see such a dirty looking hospital. I will be hopeful that the doctors are good, as I return tomorrow to check on my mom. I think the management/ownership of this hospital need to find some new cleaning people for starters.
When we arrived at the ER there were only 2 people ahead of us. 2 hours later we still didn't get our test for Covid that Standford doctors called in for us ahead of time. By the time we decided to leave, there were 20 people standing in line outside waiting just to enter the building. This place is the slowest most treacherous place to be if you are not well.
Lousy staff, lazy. Dr's. Seem good but disappear fast. Disorganized. Poor nursing care. Need better supervision and a clear treatment plan. Very confusing place.
I wished I had read all the bad reviews this hospital has before I came here 15 weeks pregnant with severe cramping and bleeding. I was in so much pain, soaked in blood! Couldn t even speak because of they pain I had! I was screaming and vomiting asking them to please help me! They told me they didn t have a room where to put me! Asked me to do a urine sample. Went to the restroom and I was passing large blood clots! My husband would tell every nurse he would see if the could please do something I was then full in blood laying in the restroom floor and the nurses still said they didn t have somewhere to put me, that I could wait in the restroom! There was kids going in the restroom looking at me scared! It was the worst experience of my life! I was treated worse than a animal! After an hour or two they finally gave me a room to be in when I miscarried...

The biggest problem with Emanuel ER is not Emanuel ER. For every patient there are 3-4 people who come along for the ride and clog up the ER. Let the kids stay with one of those Aunts or Uncles or someone else. I often see a family of 5-6 leave and I can't tell who is the patient. STAY HOME and bring 1-person with you to help. The nurses and other staff are quite capable (some are excellent) of treating you and try their best to get you on your way as quickly as possible. It just takes time. And listen for your name. Nurses/staff often call a name to be seen and get NO RESPONSE. Where are you? The only negative is when I took my wife in the last time is we never saw a Dr. or a nurse practitioner in or 8-hour stay, just the fine nurses going back and forth talking to someone. The patients need that contact for self-assurance, even if it's a quick pop-in. Dr.'s are quite varied also . Some will look you right in the eye and show their concern. Some will pop-in and tell you almost nothing, or not show at all. Nurses/staff are the best.
My father has been in this hospital for two weeks already. They keep postponing his medical attention and telling us the doctor left EVERY single time we want to talk to him! We even go early in the morning to see if we catch him and he never shows up I don t even think they tell him. They keep giving my dad this medication to supposedly release the water he s retaining but his feet are still swollen to the extreme. We don t see any changes in him and he s even going delirious he s always sedated and can barely make out a word when we go see him! They tell us he has a clot that s covering a vain that runs down his legs that s why he s retaining all the water but it s been two weeks already and they haven t done anything about it! The doctor keeps saying he needs to chart out and consult with other specialists and when the specialist came yesterday (Monday) he informed us that they had just called him on Friday. And my dads been in there since May 27! And my dads doctor came in today and my family spoke to him voicing their concerns and worries because they re not doing anything for my dad and he says I have other patients too. What your father has isn t serious! My father is a paraplegic! How is it not serious?! We asked for the transfer to Stanford hospital and they told us that they didn t accept my dads insurance over there so we called ourselves and they told us they do! We are very unsatisfied and tomorrow morning my mother and I will go personally to talk to the chief of the hospital we ve had it!
Horrible, unprofessional care. My son was seen there today for severe abdominal pain. After 5 hours he was sent away with a Rx for stool softener. He was refused an x-Ray in spite of explaining that he has had severe pain in his side for 3 days and can't even take in a full breath. It hurts so much to be a parent and be unable to help your son even get decent medical care in the town you have lived in and contributed to for most of your life. This hospital is shameful.
Worst hospital ever. Made me and my grandmother who had a fractured skull, sit in the waiting room for 5 hours before they even got vitals. I said forget that and left to memorial. Way better at memorial.
I am a nurse, who had worked at this hospital for 8 years. I was a patient there on several occasionals as well. Over the last 5 years I worked at other hospitals, big and small, on East Coast and West Coast, and I can honestly say, that Emanuel is the best by far. Emanuel has a very strong core of highly qualified medical professionals. Nursing policies at this hospital are very well written, and closely followed, which is very important for safe nursing care. Emanuel has been a part of the safety net in the community for many years. They were writing off tens of the millions of dollars of uncompensated care every years for over a decade. We worked without pay raise for years, and yet nurses and other medical professional kept providing their service to the community. Yes, we had angry and unhappy patients from time to time, but we also had many patients who were visiting us to expess their gratitude. And trust me, you can go anywhere you want for your medical care, but the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence.
Took my wife to ER for broken foot. Scheduled an appointment online. All nurses, techs, and providers were very pleasant and professional and we were in and out in about two hours. Overall the best ER experience I ever had.
Dr. Aaron Blue and RN. Mark, RN. Aura R. and the xray tech, unfortunately I didn't get her name, she wore glasses and was very informative regarding my questions surrounding xrays. The entire team gave superb customer service tonight. I've worked in the medical field myself for over 20 years. You can definitely tell the chemistry with this team is on point. I almost felt like they were the Emanuel Medical Center version of Scrubs. Thank you all for your professional customer service and polite nature. And a huge thanks to the Turlock Police department and 1st responders Fire department and EMT crew. I respect and applaud you all for your services. Thank you brothers and sisters.
The most heinous bedside service there is. Absolutely no compassion for patients what's so ever. How they are able to keep the doors open and not be shut down for malpractice is beyond me.
I went to this facility as a outpatient, for a simple X-Ray of my Foot. I wasn't seen by any physician, I received a bill for $ 1700. When I attempted to contact Hospital billing for this visit, I was sent to Texas. I was informed that there is, no one available for billing questions in California. I was informed, that this Hospital charges what ever they want. Not what is customarily charged at normal Hospitals. I have worked in Radiology as a X-Ray Tech for 29 years and have never seen, any Hospital charge more than $ 100. for this exam. If you choose to visit this facility make sure how much they charge for services before receiving them.
12/29/2017 My mom went to Emanuel hospital via AMR for UTI after spending 7-8 hrs waiting a room to draw a sample since she bed bound. The ER was slam with patients. People waiting longer then her, and still waiting she has several medical conditions. To wait 7-8 hrs just to take pee in a bed pan. Staff was friendly but no luck.
I wish I had read these reviews before I took my mother to this hospital. She went in relatively healthy, strong, and walking. After they got done with her, she died three months later. They gave her procedures, medications she did not need. She began to get sick after having a colonoscopy done there. Every time I took her to all these doctors, none of them seemed to care, and would just pretty much ignore us. I would call her doctor and he sounded like I was bothering him. Unfortunately, I trusted the doctors. They pressured me to let them perform surgery on her, even though she had gotten very weak and was elderly. After surgery, they kept me hanging on, telling me she was doing well, etc. I guess they insurance ran out, and that's when they finally told me she wouldn't survive and to take her off life support. I filed a complaint against the hospital, but of course, they have their backs covered very thoroughly. I wouldn't be surprised if they lied on cause of death on my mother's death certificate. She died due to the neglect of all the doctors who seemed to not want to be bothered with her, IMO. All they were interested in was doing their procedures. Basically, they do what's best for them and the hospital, not what's best for the patient, IMO. That's what I experienced. I hope this helps to warn other people, and that the next time this happens to someone else, they won't be as lucky as they were with me.
Not a good expierence. Doctor waa good, my own nurse was good. Charge nurse was rude and made me feel worse when I was most vulnerable. I went here because I had a high fever and it was my first time Just moved to Turlock from Marin county, I will never bring my children here. Drive to memorial in Modesto if you can
This place is horrible. Came 20 minutes from another town because we were told how prompt they are and how compassionate they are... well 7 hours later and here we sit. Still have not seen anyone but a triage nurse, of whom said that they probably can t do nothing for my wife s condition. Said they are really busy but they don t look real busy out here at all. Not to mention the staff has no sense of urgency at all. Would have saved travel time and gas staying within our area. Very dissatisfied with the way they are running this place. People that came in 4-5 hours after us are being seen ASAP. I will not be coming back to this hospital for any kind of treatment at all, not will it ever be recommended to anyone.
Been sitting here with my very ill 90 year old mom for three hours. We had an appointment at 3. Nobody said the appointments don t really mean anything. Now waiting in triage two listening to two nurses talk about their social life with lots of laughter.
I do not recomend this place if you want to be told the truth. If you want to be lied to okay go ahead and go there but I will never go there ever again! I went on May 5 or 6 because I had fallen off my bike and I had intense pain in my right elbow and they took an X-Ray and told me it was sprained. Three weeks later I went to my doctor and she sent to to take more X-rays. The next day she sent me back to the hospital to get a cast. The doctor in the ER told my mom that I did not need a cast because my elbow was not fractured or broken that it was sprained and that there was a water bubble on in my elbow. Then we left to Mexico for two weeks on June 4-June 19 in the second week there I went to the hospital in Mexico where I took more X-rays and a doctor told me it was actually fractured but that it had healed wrong but it had healed and there was nothing left to do to it. When I came back I went to a specialist and she told me that it was fractured but that had healed and that there was no water bubble that there is an inflamation in my growth plate. She put me in a splint and gave me medicine for the pain and told me to keep the splint on for four weeks. Since the Emanuel Hospital did not help me in the beginning I am still not completely cured. It s been a long time and if they had decided to actually do what they were supposed to I could have been playing with my brother and not in a splint. May 3-July 6 and not cured yet because the hospital did not act correctly. You choose if you want to be lied to go ahead but if you want to know the truth go somewhere else. I do not trust them anymore.
There is blood all over the floor they just left there and in the hospital room vomit all over the sink no one has cleaned since we been admitted for over an hour The vomit was just left there. I worry for the health of the patients and cleanliness over all. Something NEEDS to be done about this hospital. It is by far the nastiest one I had ever been to. Horrible. The staff is kind but the cleanliness is awful!!
Currently feeling frustrated with discharge issues. Covenant Home Health Nurses were recommended by Hospital. Our surgeon said we need nurse to come to house and change dressing everyday as it is fairly significant and should be done by nurse. However, Covenent didn't receive proper paperwork from Hospital and had our wrong phone number. Nurse who came was very rude as well when they did come two days later and she said they could only have time to come every other day. I'm confused, doctor said every day, Emanuel Hospital said they would come every day and strongly recommended them, but right now feeling worried about infection occurring because of treatment.
The ER man is this place busy. Ok I do have a story!! A couple of days ago Oct, well that's not so important. And before you though your phone out the window wile yelling ow h-ll no I won't do it, I will not read another one and you can't make me!! Ya ok here it comes. A very close relative had a very bad fall busted up her hip she's 76 and on the front yard cement screaming bloody murder. 25 minutes later the EMT'S show up. I know what your thinking but I'm not Ripping on the EMT'S there 20 Miles away. Thank God for are Hilmar Volunteer department, these guys will always be their and they always say ok I'll do it. Back to the story. The EMT'S get to Emanuel 30 minutes before I do. I arrive at the ER Security desk I'm Genos7 my mother is in the ER he asked her name please. Security checks no one here by that name, check again please. Maybe she's just not in the system yet?? Wait a few minutes. Ten go by. I'm telling you. She's HERE, I'll check again...... No sorry no one was brought into the ER. BULLCR*P I'm yelling by this time. Stating to Make a seen!! Inso the Security Supervisor show's up, what's up with this MAN?? I'll tell you somebody lost my MOTHER!!!!!!! Not possible he States. I'll find her. I'm thinking how in the hell do you lose a screaming 76 year old. I know this is dragging on, but check it out. They never found her, their whispering to each other, this guy is a first class nut job. I'm pretty sure one of them was reaching for his hand cuffs. ( I JOKE) . WALKING down the hallway is young good looking Security Guard he's looking a tad bit confused, he's probably thinking owww noooo. What in the world is going on here, by this time I'm seriously having one first class STROKE. So they tell him what's up, I'm starting to get sick, about to blow chunks all over the place. He says Sir I'll kindly find your Mom , (YAH RIGHT) ALL ABOUT 10 seconds go by, he States FOUND HER just referenced the timeline to the admission. JESUS, SECURITY GUARD ROBERT I THANK YOU FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS ABILITY TO USE DEDUCTIVE REASONING IN A FIRST CLASS MESS. I can't thank you enough for keeping me from jumping off the roof, wile blowing serious chunks all the way to the ground. GOOD JOB BUDDY. MR. GENOS7. THANKS FOR USING GOOGLE MAPS.
Unless it's a real emergency that you can't make it to Modesto or merced go here. I'd reccommend going to Doctors or Mercy instead. Still in my opinion the most terrible hospital in Central valley. Steer clear.
I'm currently having my mother treated in this facility since it was the closest to me I wish I would of seen some of these reviews because it's the worst, I took her to the ER for internal bleeding and she spent 29 hours waiting in the ER room before transferring her to her room, and I can't take her out asap to take her to literally any doctor, my mom says she has hardly ever seen any doctors and its been over a week I keep calling to get her transferred back to Stanford and they took 2 days to finally call me back to tell me it's up to the doctors discretion to ask for a transfer eventhough its almost impossible for her to see a doctor in more than a week this is inhumane, UPDATE my mother has passed away, please don't take your family their, her last nurses were incredibly nice but her doctors I cannot comment on some not all send your sick to Modesto doctors Merced and if possible Stanford I have relatives with doctorates degrees that say even Los Banos ER than this bs "hospital "
Sat for more than 4 hours before even called into triage. Massive headache and vomiting and barely able to stay awake yet my son had to wait while completely ambulatory people went first. Saw a woman wait 3 hours with having been sent by her doctor for possible appendicitis only a week or so after having abdominal surgery and they left. Saw another young man clearly having major altered mental state yet after 2 hours his friend finally agreed to try somewhere else. Listened to them tell a woman with major hemorrhaging only 3 days out from giving birth that the wait would be hours. Does the staff here understand triage? All of those situations are supposed to be priority yet triage is ignored and you just wait in line. How many have died or had conditions made worse?
My doctor, Dr. Eric Giang scheduled my hip replacement surgery here on Feb. 18, 2020. I have nothing but high praise for the entire experience from my pre-op appointment on Feb. 10 to admission on the 18th. EVERYONE (with exception of 1 person) I met was just simply wonderful!!!! Took excellent care of me!!!! I wish I could remember all their names! Some I absolutely remember are Linda, Chaplain Robert, Chrissy, Leah, Cheryl, Richard and my wonderful PT Darrin. I left on Feb. 21st just amazed by my experience! So to all of you whose names I don t remember I hope I actually told you personally how much I appreciated you. I m almost 67, seen a lot and I am truly blessed to have been taken care by the best! Especially Dr. Eric Giang from Modesto. God is AWESOME!!! I will continue to pray for you all.
This hospital should get no stars, seriously needs to be investigated, I took my mother in a month ago with only a few slight symptoms and while she was there she was giving wrong medication and so much more diagnosis, the nurses are rude , one nurse told me over the phone my mom was brain dead another one said she was a vegetable, everyday was something new they then gave out the pin to other people with out consent (violating hippa law) they then transferred her over to a long term acute facility where she is getting so much worse they should have never moved her !!!
Worse hospital I been here for 4 hrs end send it to the lobby with out medication for pain, i even told dr I have a lot pain. Is funny see the director from the hospital walking in lobby dont even ask the personal whats going on. So what we can expect from this place
Only four people in waiting area got here at 3:30 and left at 7:20 team no sleep terrible service! Who needs sleep anyway. Staff was friendly but service sucks!

My bf drove me to this hospital, i am pregnant and was in so much pain i was visably shaking. The counter staff was nice but the wait was absolutely outragious. I waited in the lobby for 2 hours before i got into triage then sat in triage for another 25 min until they came in and gave me tylonal thrn tried rushing through the whole proccess faster then i could collect my own thaughts From there they did test on me then sent me to the lobby where i continued to wait in agony (tylonal didnt do anything for me) for results for 7.5 hours just to find out they needed to re-asses me i am absolutely done with this hospital and wish i had read these reviews before hand. The only reason they have one star is because i cant put 0. And here they are apologizing and reporting to leadership but obviously nothing is changing at this place with all the negative feedback because leadership just doesnt give a f***.
Over the last 17 years I have given birth at this hospital 5 times, as well as been a patient for various reasons over the years and taken my children here for their medical needs. I can honestly say that there are a few good employees, but the majority of employees I encountered, including Doctors have been a NIGHTMARE! Ive even had a doctor yell and swear at me! And talk badly about me to a Nurse in my own room! Dr. Do (male) to be exact! They are very negligent. The last trip I took here was this past Sunday and for the first time I can say this hospital was really FILTHY! Never has it been filthy that I noticed in all the years that Ive gone there. This time it was very foul and I did not see one janitor like I usually do. The Children's table in the E.R. was disgusting, I cleaned it with hand sanitizer and a wipe and the black filth that came off that table was unexcusable! I began to look around and everything in the E.R. lobby was just sticky, dirty filth! They also didnt check my daughters wrist band even once to see if it was really her! Shame on you EMC! When will you get your act together!
My dad is in this hospital every semi-frequently due to various medical problems and each time we've had nothing but awful service. The nurses are rough performing the simplest of procedures. It takes them hours to administer much needed medication, even something as simple as a pain pill. It's utter trash. If it wasn't fairly close to our home, we'd go somewhere else.
It's my first time here at Emmanuel Hospital ER in Turlock and I must say it is by FAR THE WORST HOSPITAL I've ever been to... because I am here now, (I arrived at 5pm) and still waiting, ( it's after 7pm)
Excellent service! Coming from a medical staff member from out of state! Bravo to y all for everything you do for our patients! The hard work and dedication you do to serve the people. Very compassionate and caring!
They are the worst from nurses to never appearing D.R went in for a broken toe tbh the room was empty probably like 5 people ahead of me took 3.30 hours to be seen by a nurse that didn't even know what she was doing went back n fourth to ask a colleague whether or not I needed xray like seriously the worst experience ever in an er I'm pregnant and with all this pain they are just the worst never going back
I have always had a good experience going to the hospital.
My most recent visit was in May. I have been suffering from severe knee pain and couldn t take it anymore. The ER provider ordered a CT scan and the STAT report came back showing there is serious damage to my knee replacement and three large cysts in my femur and tibia with a non healed fracture of femur from last year in August of 2017. Awaiting reconstructive surgery. If the provider hadn t decided to order the CT scan I would still be wondering why my knee hurt so bad. I had one other option but to go to the ER since I was in between orthopedic surgeon since my insurance had changed.

My other experiences at the hospital have been amazing!
My 102 year old great aunt, yes 102. Has been seen in the ER many times for the FLU and Pheumonia where she was hospitalized for every time. We have never spent more than 10 minutes waiting because of her age. The care inside the ER has always been more than amazing.
While hospitalized the care hands down the best care. The nurses, respiratory therapist, any one that took part in her care were absolutely amazing all 3 times she has been hospitalized
We will drive the 20 minutes to go there any time we need help instead of going to our local hospital
The worst place ever!! I will never go back!!! If I could give it a 0 or less I would!! This place ABSOLUTELY sucked! I waited for over 6 hours and didn't get seen. People with coughs, cold, cuts, and burns get seen a lot quicker, than I did. Being that I had had surgery on Monday and now running a fever! Can't believe that those issues trumped over mine. Wothless place!!!!!!
The male NP I saw was horrible, so rude and arrogant, he does not have sympathy for patients and is not there to care for patients just get money, I overheard him talking to other patients and he was rude to everyone
This hospital is horrible! I ve been here more than 8 hours and still they have no idea on what to do. staff is horrible security guards should not even work here they have a nasty attitude I ve been sitting down more than I ve seen anyone in the staff my daughters first and last time here!! Yeah
Terrible. Sitting her for near 2 hours. My daughter in pain crying doesnt get called back because others that came in after have more serious issues ( ok that's inderstandable) but not when there are sitting on there phones laughing up a storm and playing games. This is ridiculous.
Just a bad hospital, rude staff, rude over the phone. Poor care, poor reports and poor continuity of care. If you need a hospital choose Doctors or Memorial in Modesto. Sutter is a far better institution.
I wouldnt recommend anyone going here. The most professional person I ran into was the security guard. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection but the nurse insisted I get an EKG anyways to monitor my heart? Which was very expensive even with my insurance. So not only did I overpay for the visit, it feels like I was robbed because they ran test for no reason. On top of that, I recieved treatment 4 months ago but they billed me now after the beginning of the year; Im assuming for tax purposes. Dont go here, I would recommend the extra 15 minute drive to any other Hospital.
I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. I had severe throat pain that wouldn't go away so I came here. I was in their little room for like 20 minutes. They diagnosed me wrong, gave me the wrong medication and stuck me with a bill of over $4000. And for absolutely NOTHING. They didn't help at all. I had to go to urgent care two days later to see a real doctor who actually helped me. Please STAY AWAY from this place.
Horrible horrible horrible hospital. They will find ways to charge you without you knowing. I got a an ER charge for $2,000 plus an additional $200 dollars from CP America because they contracted a doctor to work there. Hope that place goes out of business and never rips off another human being again. Disgusting hospital and staff.
I am currently working at this facility as an interim nurse manager (CCU/PCU) - I can say without hesitation, this has been the best assignment and primarily because the staff I have encountered on all levels are superb. Kind, fun, and highly skilled. I am sad to leave but pray many blessings on this facility and the community they serve.
Some of the Dr.s here are very rude, they treat you like you're wasting thier time and they don't want to help you from experiences I've had over the years.
Its a very good ER dont have a problem with it staff are very friendly and polite Get seen way faster then merced ER there staff is very disrespectful.And very dirty place to go and ull be stuck hours best to go to turlock
Horrible just like always. All kinds of new advertising saying how much nicer and shorter waits etc. BS. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig and this place is terrible for its wait times even if you preregister online.
Worst hospital ever, went in for pain and stood there for 4 days and got discharged with the same pain, all they did was keep giving medicine never found the issue. There was only one nurse that was helpfully. I do not recommend this hospital to no one all they do is take you insurance money ! I would rather drive to Modesto
Haven t been back to this Hospital since January 2019 after they gave me a pain pill and realized they had caused me to have a miscarriage! Doctor never talked to me it was just nurses and PA, all they said after they realized they had made a mistake was get some rest and here is some medicine for your pain.... I prefer to go to Doctor s hospital or drive to the bay area as long as I don t go back to this Devil place!
Came in because of lower back pain. I first went to see my MD five days prior to hospital visit. The pain got worst making it hard to tolerate the pain. I decided to come here because Merced is usually packed and has a lot of patients. This place is by far the dirtiest hospital I ve ever been to. They have you wait for a very long time before you get called in for vitals. Good luck!
