Elmwood Golf Course Review

Played golf with a 94 year old, says free golf after you turn 80, i got 26 years to go

With all the wet weather this year we're been going here instead of Spring Creek or Bakkers Crossing to avoid the bugs natts and mosquitoes. We are enjoying the course.

Absolutely gorgeous golf course that is well maintained from what I could see.

Club house staff great. Welcomed on the course by a member to play..great day

If you want a little easier course, go on the east nine holes

Nice course and people always say something about the airplanes..it s really not that bad and the course is fun!

Just checked the parking for the fireworks it's a little small. Perfectly fine for golfing

The course is coming around very nicely after the rebuilding of all three nine's

The West 9 should not have been reopened so soon, course needs time to heal.

Was best condition course in area at this time. Fairways way better than old Elmwood ball sits up not down. Only draw back is need to widen some fairways.

The fairways are in good. However the greens were dry and hard and I think they cut the rough a little too deep. I lost a few balls in the Deep grass. Maybe I should spend more time hitting the fairways. Haha

Very friendly staff helped navigate. Beginner friendly and tee times that give you enough time to play without getting rushed. Will be returning.

The only 27-hole course in the area features an 18-hole championship course as well as a 9-hole, East-Course that doesn't require tee times that allow you to walk on and it is fantastic! The championship course has recently been rebuilt with new irrigation, cart paths and tee boxes. Check it out the next time you are looking for a course to play in Sioux Falls.

Didn't actually play the course here but my kids played here once a week during summer with first tee. They enjoyed the program. The clubhouse is nice with a pro-shop, little cafe, seating area, locker room and bathrooms.

Nice course, trees are beautiful. Please work on the inside, deck area, spot to hang out.

Golfed the East course.. pretty neat little course!

A good mix of play from tight tree lined fairways, short to mid range par 3's, to a wide open short par 5 to end the round. (Blue and gold). Playing from the tips (black) is a whole different game.

Got a membership there and checked out the golf course. Got yelled at for not playing golf...

I've played the new course just afew times this year and I can say enough how well the course plays from tee box too fairway to nices clean open greens. Always a pleasure to play at the North course. Well done.

Great public course! Sad to see some trees get cut down, but still such a beautiful place. Don't get distracted by the airport, and make sure you know there is a short course as well. GPS on the carts is also fantastic and accurate. Great competition for GreatLife courses in the surrounding area!

Just hit the range for the first time, but definitely not the last. Employees were very helpful and the price was efficient five bucks for a small bucket of balls, enjoyed my time, can't wait to go back.

Always in good shape. Pace of play usually decent. Play the west and north 9's if you can.

Played the east nine and it was a good course but didn t have many challenges. Short grass, ruff is about same height as the fairway, and a couple dog legs. There was one water hazard on a par three hole but not much else for hazards. Good first course for the year or if you re looking for a fast round.

Well maintained with some beautiful water hazards and more challenging than some of the other local courses. A good mix of shorter holes and some pretty long ones too like the 203 yd par 3.

Staff were a bit clueless but friendly.

FYI, the driving range is hidden at the bottom of the hill to the right.

When you have 5 players,a couple of group in front of you, it sure slows down the pace. 2 were walkers.

Having a tournament that says free wedge on may 9th. Too bad the wedge isn't free at all. Tournament fee is 145$. What a JOKE. And you can't even decline the option for the wedge. Don't say it's free, when it's mandatory that you buy one even to play in the tournament. What a sham whoever made the deal and set up the tournament. Then they tell you to speed up while asking for donations in between holes at booths wow

My favorite course in Sioux falls. 27 holes, virtually no waiting

Elmwood Golf course was like most in that it was nothing special but nice to have a quick bite The lady who helped us was very helpful. We were both very tired and just wanted to eat and run. The food was typical and satisfying. We went back to the motel to unwind and get some sleep for the trip home tomorrow

I don't golf, but I certainly tried. Had a blast!

Love the new changes, greens are really nice, fairway are wonderful (when I'm on them) highly recommend

Nice course. Lots of construction going on. But still fun to play.
