Aug 28 2015 A week ago I called customer service "Holly" at Elmhurst to report purchase of 2 gallons 1% milk [exp date ok/ but milk sour]. I also called to report that point of purchase local neighborhood deli has begun selling milk in OPEN REFRIGERATED CASES which most likely accounts for the spoilage. Holly promised to mail me PARTIAL refund of $5.00 AS OBVIOUSLY ELMHURST DOES NOT FULLY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!] As.to date, I received no check. I called to speak to Holly but her voice mail stated she was on MATERNITY LEAVE. I then spoke to snarky operator "RUBY CORTEZ" who 1.advised me to wait 2. refused to connect me with Holly's supervisor claiming there was not one/ MOMMY-TO-BE Holly is only person in company who handles customer service and 3.Ruby seemed to somehow know MAXIMUM REFUND ALLOWED and alluded to it only being $5.00. WHAT AN UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY AND EXPERIENCE. BUY ELMHURST PRODUCTS AT YOUR OWN RISK AS THEY GUARANTEE NOTHING.

Last evening I purchased a half gallon of milk for my 2 year old son from C&H Mini Market 414 Bergen Avenue, JC, NJ 07304 only to find it spoiled and disgusting when I put it in my cereal this morning. When I returned it to the store they would not take it back due to the fact that the manufacturer will not accept it without it being damn near full. Well I put it in my sons bottle all night and unfortunately he drank it. YOUR PRODUCT & SERVICE ARE ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

I just got off the phone with an operator at this location. When I interrupted her for speaking to me in a condescending way, rather than apologizing, she reprimanded me! She then said, in a cutesy manner, that if I would hold on she would put me through to the "bad milk people". When I asked for her name, her response was, "me, oh, I'm nobody". I totally agreed with her and she will probably remain a nobody due to her inability to speak professionally and perform her job properly. I was calling because of a continual problem of the Elmhurst Dairy milk I purchased at a local gas station constantly going bad within a day, and long before it's "By" date. I would think that a distributor would want to know of a store who was not handling their product in a proper way. Instead of thanking me for providing this information, I get a nobody, going nowhere who lacked the intelligence to understand the reason for my call. I would not want someone like this representing my company.
