Elmer's County Market Review

Newly remodeled and stocked up with all kinds of goodies at a good price. Also has a nice little deli area to sit and eat. Friendly staff and always busseling. Yet your wait in line will always be short unlike many stores in the lower part of michigan, IE; Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, etc where the cashiers are like slugs compared to the employees up here in the vast UP so enjoy the trip and hit the sites.

I'm a big fan of how many people they employ to make your experience there fast and friendly. Easy to find what your looking for and there is always an employee grateful to help. And by far the fastest checkout around. The produce and meats here are great quality, well taken care of and affordable. Whatever you need they have it. If you come in with a frown you will leave with a smile

Great donuts. Good quality meats. Their discount program is next to useless. Limited selections. Clean and newly renovated it is nice inside.

Great local grocery store. Clean and friendly. Good prices even compared to the big box stores.

Always love this place. Has 9-10 cooler doors of singles to mix and match from all over the U.S. to make a 6 pack or later consumption.

I love Elmer's. I will shop there rather than Meijer or Wal-Mart, when I am in town. They are friendly, and have an amazing amount of EVERYTHING. They carry a strange but wonderful mixture of store-brand, discount-quality items shelved together with really high-end stuff, so you get a lot of choices (except sauerkraut!) The produce is really good, and so are the meats. I love how you hear moo-ing when you open the milk cooler and clucking when you open the egg cooler. My one disappointment is that the Beer Cave has really gone downhill in quality and interesting selections over the past year. They no longer stock my favorite brands of brew -- Stroh's Bohemian Pilsner and Altes Lager, both out of Detroit. I know you can't carry everything, but It would be great if you could get creative again in the beer dept. The Upper Hand stuff really isn't that good. Thanks Elmer's!

This place has friendly staff and good products but it s way too expensive. Got a little thing of groceries one time like I mean little and it already was very expensive.

Elmer's is and will always be my go-to grocery store! They are always striving to take care of their customers. They are always progressing. Their produce and meat departments are top notch. Their deli and bakery are my favorites! Big Box stores just can't come close!

Every Friday I buy my fish there and usually buy my pork there they always have good deals on pork shoulders to smoke always have lots of lanes open Friendly folk smiling all the time stop by here to get your groceries

My main grocery store. Part of our community. Mostly USA produce...at least what I buy... occasionally Canada or Mexico...often local or Wisconsin cheeses, dairy, potatoes. I look for that and will pay more especially for local or at least product of the USA. I trust their meat counter and love the bakery...also the chili from the deli. Staff is efficient and friendly.

The store is clean, workers friendly and more often than not they will take you directly to the item you can't find vs just telling what aisle its in. Freshest meats in Escanaba.

Elmer's has a great selection of meat. Smoked sticks, summer sausage and other varieties. Delicious aged cheddar. 10yr. 8yr. 2yr, etc. Fantastic local milk. Try de backers chocolate milk. Brings this childhood favorite to a new level. Great produce, good selection of all foods, bakery and decent prices makes Elmer's my favorite. Sorry whole foods. You loose!

The meat is good and I always go to the bakery and ask for a frosting cone, but things there are inexpensive.
