Great new bar with funky music.
It was good to see an older crowd that has a great view of the harbour bridge lite up

Had a few drinks here on a Saturday night & it was pumping! Lovely atmosphere & drinks were good but it was the wait staff that made this place great. Great enthusiasm & a lot of fun, will definitely return! Thank you

Great views over the viaduct from the deck. My favourite cocktail bar in Auckland. Staff are so so good. Great wine list. The tacos are delish! Great music for a dance, but not so loud you can't hear each other talk.
Had a birthday booking on Saturday and they could not have been more accommodating. Excellent comms and outstanding service, definitely a great place to meet.

Great view from top deck, great cocktails, fast attentive service and good finger food. Nothing fancy, just burgers, tacos etc but well made.

Went here with friends to have dinner on my birthday. Great view but take something warm in case it's a windy day and there are no seats available indoors. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken burger with tomato jam, sriracha, wasabi mayo, miso and yuzu aioli slaw, garlic butter, loaded hash bites with cheese and dried onions and I think the shake was either salted caramel or peanut butter. Good table service - wait staff are chatty which I like!

Best customer service, best food, fantastic prices, amazing location. They tie it all together so well! And what a vibe! Definitely a 'must-experience' in Auckland.

Glad to know there is a place open past 9pm on a weekend.

Great cocktails and atmosphere. Service is top notch. Decent beer selection too. Try the old fashioned, it's incredible. Didn't have the food, but the table next to us looked great.

Parasol and Swing Company Bar has some of the best and unusual cocktail glassware I have ever seen. My favourite cocktail cup was definitely the tiki drink, which even came topped with a fortune cookie. The cocktails not only looked good but were also delicious. The service staff were super nice and friendly and the food was tasty. The view out towards the water really nice, especially during sunset.

This place saved our evening as it was one of the only bars open on 2nd January. The cocktails were incredible and the staff attentive and helpful. Definitely stop off here for a cocktail or three.

Great service, great views and food was delicious! We ordered the crispy cajun chicken and the ranch sauce was incredible!!! Absolutely loved it! The shoestring fries were also so crunchy and not oily at all! Sauce was also nice and spicy!
Only giving 3 stars though because I was expecting the menu to be the same as the photos from the Google reviews. Turned out, we only had snacks... maybe because of time of day? :( But yeah, so sad. I was looking forward to a pork belly burger, ice cream sandwich and loaded fries.

In my opinion, the best bar in Auckland. The staff I met whilst I was there really made me feel welcome when I was travelling alone, they were Friendly and the bar has a good selection of drinks, delicious food and a great view, what s not to like!?

Cocktails were pre-mixed so pretty average. I've cubes were proper though. Staff member was pretty rude in assuming I should know my table number when I went to pay. Nice view.

Good drinks but the banana daiquiri didn't taste like banana like it said. Also, said we wanted food but we waited and waited for the bartender to come back to take our food order after getting the menu, before giving up and leaving.

Really friendly welcome from Danny who kept the delicious cocktails coming. Adam came and introduced himself and made us feel very welcome. Loved the popcorn prawns, delicious! Great view of the Viaduct and everyone was having a good time, music was not too loud so you could still talk without shouting and we really enjoyed the playlist.
Definitely a smaller, more intimate cocktail bar than a lot of other venues on the water. Be great for that last one for the road - doubt if you will stop at one though :-)

Great view over Auckland City habour. The staff are always really nice. The place is a bit small and maybe hard to find. The food is great. Can recommend the chicken burger. A little but expensive though and some of the dishes like the tacos are quite small.

Tiny overpriced drinks in a dimly-lit bar. Only good thing about this place is it's location on the waterfront.

Went Tuesday night 3rd March around 9.30... Great service from one of the guys, super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Small place but the view is worth it :) Great food too!

Cool place that is relaxed and sophisticated. Beautiful harbour views from this deck bar make it even better.

The best service I have ever encountered. Good people with fast service. Highly recommended to all so please do try it. Cal was on point with his service good communication and very helpful. And I cant forget the amazing view. A memorable experience for sure. You guys will have to see it for yourself

We stayeed at the sebel auckland vaiduct and was able to order room service from parasol and swing company. The vegetarian burger was gorgeous, and the buttermilk crispy chicken satisfied my partners love of crispy chicken.
Cant wait to stay again and order in. A real treat and extra special for my birthday man

Very reasonable prices, especially for the location. Went to enjoy the sunset and cocktails. The drinks are creative and the service was 100% top notch. Great experience!

Funky, fun bar with tasty bites to eat. Great and friendly staff.

We are from hospitality and we asked waiters if they are doing hospo discount and they said yes. At the end, we didn't get the discount because they estimated that we didn't facilitate their works as waiter. We were a big group (10 pp) and it is true that the orders wasn't easy because the bar was noisy with the rugby match but we were nice. They made a mistake about 2 drinks but it is ok, we didn't ask to change and we accepted the wrong drinks, we know how the job is hard and we respect people who are working in hospitality.
At the end, they decided to don't give finally the discount, we were very disappointed about the bar, especially about the behavior of waiters.

Love this place, superb staff, great views. Danny is a penultimate welcomer and will make you feel at home.

Great bar, loved the theme - got in pretty late so missed the kai but the bar staff were friendly,attentive and well versed in the drinks.
A great twist on the classic negroni - I can reccomend the ivy league..boozy!

An awesome cocktail bar with great staff. Rooftop bar has a great view of the harbour. Had a bunch of their mystery beers, where they just bring you one at a flat price and they were all so good. Food was good too, chicken and waffles were a standout, the waffle was perfect. On a nice day it will be very hard to get a table on the patio so go early.

Great vibes, classy company and exotic drinks. We came here after a few bars and had a grand old time looking out at the yachts and chatting to strangers.

Not cheap, although for the atmosphere well worth it. Service was as efficient as it could be considering the crowd, which was just the right size in terms of the energy it added.

Have been twice and both times the drinks were poured shockingly for the majority of a group of 10-15 people. Head next door for decent drinks and bar tenders.

Parasol & Swing in the Viaduct was the perfect cocktail stop for Friday afternoon drinks and enjoying the views. The bi-level bar is simply stunning and stylishly adorned and staff was very attentive. I also loved the laid back 90 R&B set the live DJ was playing.

We enjoyed a round of exotic and aesthetically pleasing cocktails and this was the ideal launchpad to fun night out! Highly recommended!

Arranged a group drinks here last week. Was told they don't take bookings on the balcony after 5pm and arrived to find 2 tables reserved for a group at 5.30! Turns out they do take bookings for 15 pax or more (about the number of people I was expecting). Very disappointed as was looking forward to being out on the balcony in the sunshine, instead we had to sit inside next to a loud speaker. The staff knew I wanted a table outside but didn't offer the one they freed up from the group and 2 girls sat there instead. Meant to be table service too, we had none. Pretty disappointing all round..

The best spot for views, sunshine and innovative cocktails at the viaduct. Nothing else nearby even comes close.
Consistent with great service and drinks gin worn find anywhere else, just be careful to check your bill thoroughly as the last time we were hear a random drink happened to turn up ... which wouldn t be so bad except they are ~ $20

Awesome cocktails and friendly service in a great location overlooking the Viaduct Harbour. Only downside was they were playing clubbing music at 4 in the afternoon which was a bit off-putting

Danny is amazing. It's been more than a year visited parasol since I moved to Wellington but Danny never forget his customers. It was such an amazing time tonight. I will come back for sure.

Nice spot. Great view. Good service. Cheese and charcuterie board was a bit of a rip for $50.00--it was missing something! Side of prawns were tasty. Would try this place again.

The cocktails were amazing and the service was to die for... the best serviced bar in all over Auckland. It was raining, windy and cold, they gave us blankets and hot water bags, how cute is that...

Had a nice night out on the sky deck as we wanted a well crafted cocktail without the shoulder to shoulder club vibe. Expect a big bills as cocktails run around $20! They still have a DJ and dancing area inside but with outdoor seating too. It's on the 3rd floor and shares a large bathroom with Dr Rudi's next door. They also have a burger place downstairs but haven't tried that yet. Pro tip: the Dancing with the Devil cocktail I believe it's called with egg whites is definitely the best of them all.

Our drinks were delayed as the order got lost somewhere in the process. It was a very busy Saturday night so we just waited patiently..not a problem. We had atleast 3 different staff members come and apologize to us and we were not charged for all our 4 drinks either. Most lovely customer service. It was our first time and we def will be back again.

Had 12 friends over for my birthday drinks and was an amazing night! Staff were super attentive and had some great recommendations, and the cocktails were even better than expected. Will definitely be back!
