Really disappointed with the way the whole venue is organised. It was overloaded with people, walking corridors very complicated and packed, smoking area is a serious disaster waiting to happen, waiting at the door for 1 hour, etc.
Nice place to see your favorite band. (even for the smaller one, there is a nice downhill = perfect view for everyone)
Sound / Acoustics are excellent here, great for live music. The venue facilities are ok too, not too much of a wait for the bar or the toilets. The venue gets REALLY hot, even on a cold night!
Good club layout, expensive drinks, small smoking area and sound system could be louder with a lot more bass.
Nice venue. The toilets were actually kept keep and stocked up. Very impressed
One of London's essential venues, if you've not been to a gig or two here, you've not lived. Lines can sometimes be long to get in as security is thorough (or slow - possibly both!).
Really great venue to see live music as it is smaller then Brixton Academy it feels a bit more intimate. The seating area upstairs gives a great view and where ever you stand you don't feel miles away from the stage! It is about 5 min walk from the underground station too which is perfect!
Expected More like a Caribbean Artist Performing Live
It is a good meeting point where you can find many Spanish and the music is good, the queue to leave the jacket may take more than one 30 minutes on average but it is economical we will return
One of the most beautiful places in London. I saw Noisia's concert and it was a unique experience.
Used to be good for reggaeton parties, recently it's just too cold inside.
Great venue, great acts; drinks aren't cheap but that's standard for Brixton
Such a great place to go! There Latin American nights are amazing! Recommend this place for all :)
Don't bother before 1:30/2, afterwards was a perfectly good night out. Good levels of security, fun entertainment, drinks aren't the most expensive out there and also sufficient areas to chill off of the dance floor.
Good medium-sized gig venue in a theatre space with original features, open late and with a decent sound system.
Great venue... Great sound system... Great neighborhood! Highly recommended!
Very expensive drinks. Very wide venue, which means even with a large crowd can feel a bit empty.
Great venue, though I was on the balcony, don't think I would've enjoyed it as much if not. The sound system is top notch, made the concert all that more enjoyable. Went to see Sabrina Claudio who actually sounds 10X better live.
Amazing venue! There is a large amount of space for getting to the bar and room to the see band. Getting in to the venue from queueing outside was very fast and staff were very friendly when being checked upon entering. Would definitely see a live band here again.
Was disappointed first there was a problem with our tickets was in the front of the queue had to wait while they confirmed our tickets everyone else was going in . THEN we were surpose to see mighty Diamonds they cancelled very disappointed plus the lighting was bad could not see the Artist as the lights was in our faces blinding us
Really like this venue, sounds was good, looks like an old theatre, easy to see the stage from all angles. Drinks are typical London prices, cloakroom is up and down lots of stairs.
Went there once for a concert. They kicked us out immediately after the concert as they had another event planned 20 mins later. Arrogant bouncers did not even allow us to use bathroom after the concert even though there was still a 1hr queue to the cloak room.
The venue was incredibly dirty/filthy/smelly!! Much worse than the average club.
Great venue that's been a big part of the Brixton scene for years. Only let down is the drinks are crazy expensive
Great venue with decent prices for London. A little hot inside but you expect that with the amount of people.
Power tripped security, complete jobs worths, venue itself is okay though decent soundsystem but security ruin it
Good live music. The sound is balanced and rich, and the space is small enough that you have a decent view of the stage wherever you stand. Close to Brixton station as well as numerous bus stops, so conveniently located if you're traveling from a distance. Could use a bit of an update, but overall everyone should be pleased with the performances here.
Excellent venue to see old favorites and rising talent.
Fun ! Nice venue, easy to find your way around, plenty of bars and good locations to view the stage or get right in front of it. We had a perfectly sized crowd and mood to bring the energy and camaraderie.
Friendly staff good acoustics not a fan of standing though! Need bar food!
Great selection of gigs and the place is really cool
Great little old school venue. Typically dance and electronic acts.
I am rating the building. It is dirty, the floor damage, the wall have broken tiles .
The singer Anselmo Ralph and band 5 stars amazing
Brilliant night, Channel one really put on a great session
Stunning place. One of my best Drum&Bass experience so far
the ex Fridge still rocks.
went there for a dub night last saturday and my oh my what a good choice that was.
I felt very safe as well. there was a lot of security where they should be, checking on crowds from time to time. good work.
Can't go wrong with The Fridge Crazy P was amazing. Again!
We couldn't get into the concert my daughter didn't have her Id you have to be 14 and with an adult to step into the building.
Plastic cup I can get water-down drink: no can not bear !!! Music line up...dont head out till about 1am ...little to less...
Good venue. Not too big. Easy to get to with Brixton station round the corner. Drinks are rediculously expensive!
Great venue, good sound (which is rare), not packed to the rafters when sold out, and security are thorough but fair and friendly. Downside: the price of drinks!!
An amazing place for the purists of electronic music. The box is located in a popular area where the good atmosphere prevails.
The staff is professional and friendly, i came to eletric brixton in a wheelchair due to an injury, the pickup was perfect (vip entrance, help from staff, place reserved in the room).
The prices of drinks are classic for a nightclub, young and respectful public, the floor is regularly cleaned during sets, irreproachable security service.
Great venue sand stupendous sound toilets bit of hassle to get to the smoking area specially when the place is packed but overall great experience
Nice venue, good live performance. Very avant-garde
Good music venue but could really fix the ventilation.
Staff could do with some training. They're about the rudest people I've ever come across.
Massive Venue, it feels like partying in a maze at times. Music is very good. Audience:. majority is guys. Very diverse and multi-ethnic girls. This is the only top-tier club in London with extremely professional and polite Security Guards, More
I was a bit intimidated by some of the reviews of overcrowding and puzzled by the reviewer who said there were loads of places to sit. We headed towards the cloakroom because I wanted the loo, got told to turn right, stumbled into the More
If you're watching a show on the balcony. You're gonna be warm. Good atmosphere.
Quirky dance venue, converted from an old theatre so there lots of stairs to climb and mazes to go through. Security is tight (won't allow gum!) but always polite.
