Nice hotel, showing age in rooms. Not a knock on the hotel, just not a newer feel. Quality seemed to go into the original build so it was fine.
Pet friendly hotel room so you may smell that in the rooms. That is the only negative I am giving the hotel.
The restaurants (when open) have good prices. The food was good, just not world class.
We would stay again.
Arrived for a 3 night stay from Mobile,Al 9/21 thru 9/23.After arriving went to shower and there was no hot water for several hours.After taking cold shower went to casinos after dropping $200 on penny machine s my biggest payout was 1.50 one time.I frequent casino's on a regular basis and have never seen machines as tight as these.The signs around casino says looses slots which I don't believe I even over heard lady a few machines down tell her husband that it was unreal that she had not hit anything. I don't expect to hit a big jackpot but at least let me play awhile.
Main floor lobby clean and fragrant! All other outside entrances were very dirty. The rooms bathroom lights needed replacing. The shower was so filthy dirty I stood in the tub
One of the best 4-star hotels in the area. Great room and spacious. Reasonable price and awesome casino floors. Beautiful decor and designs. Great self parking building and easy access.
Just returned from a 2 night stay. Check in was good. For the most part the room was clean. The bathroom could use some mold and mildew cleaner in the shower. Also the water pressure in the shower was not great. They didn't clean the room or at least provide us with fresh towels the second day. I know most people stay here for the convenience of going downstairs to the casino but for the money I expected a better room. Everything else was good.
We always stay and play at the Eldorado. The people are friendly and we love the gaming. It is a little cold in there sometimes but that's ok. % happy!
Check in was amazing. There were Hand sanitizer dispenser throughout the casino.Mask were encouraged as well. The room I stayed in was Huge, and had a refrigerator.
Had a great time, a little old but still a very nice place to stay. The staff was kind they accommodated us ( my girlfriend uses a wheelchair) even though we didn't ask for it. The price was every reasonable and the city was pretty. I loved the 3 story casino, we had an awesome time playing even though we didn't win anything.
Stayed in a King Smoking.. Room was nice, spacious and clean. All the amenities were there. Didn't have to call front desk or housekeeping for a thing. Also loved the fact there was plenty of bed pillows. Will definitely be booking again in the near future. Also, I hit over a 100.00 at the casino on a .25 machine, playing off of a 5.00 bill! Great Stay !
After checking in to this 4 star hotel I was soon made aware of the actual quality. I booked a nonsmoking, pet-free room as I am asthmatic and suffer with allergies; however, every room had these exact issues. The first room that I unpacked in had some sort of bed bug actively crawling in the bed; we made the front desk aware and they moved us to a new room. There was no manager that could assist on duty from Sunday - Tuesday. When a manager was there on Tuesday she was helpful and asked us to do a report Anyway, the next room that we were moved into was one with actual dog hair in the bed; so we were moved again. The next room was unbearably smoke-filled. The bell captain, Christopher, was there to witness this and he requested someone from the front desk send housekeeping personnel to spray to get rid of the smoke smell. We both knew that an ozone would be required and that could take all night. Christopher was there to see all these nuisances and how unsanitary this place was. The final room that we settled for because we were completely exhausted had mildew on the comforter. The only thing that I d recommend is stopping in at the restaurant to have breakfast. The servers, cooks, and service there are great.
