I worked with Chris Riddle, he was professional and knowledgeable. The figures we discussed prior to my arrival were honored once in person. He was a pleasure to work with. I also had the opportunity to work with Mike in finance. I can be a bit of a challenging customer. Mike rolled with my questions and was able to adjust on the fly, delivering a deal that I am incredibly pleased with. I thought Chris and Mike were both true professionals and would recommend both to friends and family.
Our salesman, Brian Mace, sold a truck to my husband last year. My husband was happy, so I called Brian to purchase a car. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the cars on the lot and about the individual cars I was inquiring about. We spent time on the phone prior to my arrival choosing just the right car. He was attentive to my needs and gave professional advice. When I arrived at the dealership Brian was prepared and made the purchasing process smooth. The lady in the finance department had a professional, yet personable personality. It's the first time financing a car wasn't a long, painful process. My husband and I talked on the way home that evening that in 30 years of purchasing cars together, this was our best experience. We will now only purchase cars from El Dorado Chevy and use Brian Mace.
Wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly from the time we walked in the front door. My Salesman was extra friendly. Very positive attitude. He took extra time with my son to make sure he understood how to work everything. Wonderful experience will be back whenever we decide to buy another vehicle and will recommend 100%. Very clean facility. The bathrooms was extra clean.
Gary has gone above and beyond to get me into a truck I was able to afford. To deliver a experience that made me feel welcome and showed that he cares about my needs and wants in a vehicle. He was very informative and helpful in the buying experience. I will recommend him to anyone I know looking to get into a new vehicle in 2021. 10/10 hands down. Thank you so much Gary. I hope to work with you on my next vehicle purchase.
I bought a used Chevy Sonic. It had the 170 point inspection done so I was told. I test drive the car on the freeway and was talking with the sales guy, who was great, while driving. I ended up buying the car. I left and got one mile and the car is making this loud thunk from the front end. I took it back and talked with the manager and he said to me well, you test drove it didn t you ? As if it were my fault for not noticing it the first time. I wanted to say you did a 170 point inspection didn t you? It ended up being a $8 stabilizer plastic bar. They fixed it. The other problem I encountered is the license plates. I told them I was going on an rv trip and pulling the car and need my plates. Everyone said they will be in within 3 weeks no problem. I waited and the receptionist tells me it is 2 months normally to get them. Why say 3 weeks, just let me know when they will be in. And now they are in and I asked them to send them to the place I will be camped for the next 4 months. They said they can t. Terrible customer service and I would not trust the used sales manage. The guy who was my sales guy was great. Worked hard and helped calm me down when I first brought the car back, unlike the manager.
The salesman and the finance specialist found me what I wanted in a car and the payment I asked for, so I left feeling as if I made a good deal. The people at El Dorado are friendly and really know the vehicles and services. I had an Equinox since 2016 and the salesman told me several things about it that I never knew. When I got the new Equinox, he told me about all the new features and how to use them. I was impressed with his knowledge!
Where to start... I bought a truck from El Dorado in October 2020. I was an easy sale. No stress, good credit. Our sales rep Ann Richards was great. I have no complaints about her. My ire is for the service department... Thank God. I also bought the full bumper to bumper warranty. 5/11/21. Check engine light comes on. Diagnosis: fuel pump. 5/12/21. Took the truck to El Dorado Chevrolet for service. They told me they were a week out and that could NOT loan a vehicle due to a shortage, so I was on my own for transportation. Luck for me, my work let me borrow a truck. 5/17/21: Called service tech for update and was told my truck would be ready the next day (5/18/21). 5/18/21: Called service tech for update and to confirm my truck would be ready by end of day to then be informed that while installing the fuel pump the tech burned out my truck's Electric Control Module (ECM). Lucky for me my warranty also covered this mistake.... But this new repair would take another TWO days. Did they offer a loaner due to their error? NOPE. I was told that my warranty would cover $30 a day for a rental. Called car rental company for a rental: $100 a day, or $70 out of pocket.. Would have to keep using company truck. 5/20/21: Called service tech for update on the ECM repair and was told it would be ready for pick up at the end of the day. I arrived at 5 PM to pick my truck, paid my deductible (no offer to cover the cost of the repair (or a discount) to compensate me for the delays and being without a vehicle for a week). 5/20/21 9 PM: After leaving an event in downtown McKinney, I use my remote start to start my truck. The truck runs for 30 seconds and then turns off. I got in to attempt to start it with my key: NOTHING. I have power, but the truck will not start. After waiting 2 hours for a $140 tow (see photo), I finally tow it back to El Dorado Chevrolet. 5/21/21: 9:30 AM Called the service department to speak with a manager and sent to voicemail. What can a reader of this review take from my experience thus far? 1. In all interactions with the service department, I had to initiate contact for updates. All calls I received from them were return calls. I never once received a call with an update. I had to call them first. 2. Their "repair" led to more repairs. Whoever "repaired" my fuel pump damaged my ECM, which is what I think went out last night. 3. I was only told what they could NOT do for me and was not offered any compensation for my troubles. I felt very much like I was at their mercy and not like I was someone whose business they wanted to keep. After all, I bought the truck there. I would think they would want to keep my business, since I was such an easy sale in the first place. Bottom line: No customer service, bad repair, and no attempt at making it right. Plus, being stranded at night and paying for a tow. DO NOT go here if you need any kind of repairs, especially warranty ones. I am still waiting for the manager to call back, so maybe my experience will improve. I am not too hopeful.
The technician that helped me Mike was very helpful about my car and trying to help me get my account online points to use as rewards for my oil change he was very nice and professional. Everyone there is friendly and the ladies that check you out are extremely nice. I will buy another Chevy because of the friendly service
Love this place. Got both of our vehicles here and had such an amazing experience. I ve always been a Chevy girl!
wouldn't bought a car online as is which I knew was the case but I was told that it had been gone over and everything was checked out of course why would you lie? Why. Little week later we noticed the air conditioner was not worked properly. Now today it is almost 60 days maybe more I have to add it up but I still have not received the tags for this car.
