I was young when I was arrested, I got out and was assigned a public defender who talked me into challenging the case. Her name was Alex Serra public defender. She avoided all my calls and never spoke to me like she claimed she would. Then the day of my court date, I show up only to find out they changed my lawyer last minute to Rene Flores public defender. He said he couldnt do anything for me and that I had to plead guilty and pay 500$, I said there was no way I could pay that so he left for a minute came back and changed the price to 200$. I paid and never went back or heard anything again but I don't understand why they talked me into fighting the case and in the end just making me plead guilty.
Hi. Good afternoon my husband was arrested on Saturday at the free bridge because of a debt problem in Colorado Srings, I can't go through that I don't have. Visa and from Saturday I know what will happen. If you can be assigned a lawyer or I have to contact one, I am desperate because I would not appreciate what to do.
