El Dorado Resort and Casino Review

They charge a high resort fee when in fact this is not a resort. It's an in City downtown hotel with a swimming pool. But this resort fee ripoff is becoming very common. Free self Park and valet parking. Very wide choice of restaurants. Clean and well-maintained. Casino oriented Hotel. Reasonably priced. Central location so you can walk to other hotels on the street or by walkways. A fair number of sketchy people in downtown Reno especially in the evening.

They need a bigger. Pool. Or. Put in another one. But very nice

The night casino manager was awful. Very rude and shouldn't be working in customer service at all. The drinks were slow and the casino is very dirty.

Beds, linens are wonderful.pool lounges are wonderful.Service is wonderful.

It has some great night clubs like brew brothers, novi, aura

The casino is great. The rooms are amazing! Would recommend and likely to come back myself. Great vacation there

Best place to stay in Reno in my opinion, 3 hotels all connected makes for a lot of fun. Stayed at all 3 but El Dorado has been the best to me.

Superior luxury suite? Haha that's a joke. We'll go back to GSR or try Peppermill

I guess it's ok for Reno. Had to stay here because of flight delay. Nice that it is right downtown.

We loved La Strada Italian restaurant, as an italian i can tell you the food very original, osso buco, risotto, lamb chops, delizioso!!!!

There cirq de noir show was incredible! Nice bar and casino to boot!

Older rooms but fine, but it s 67 degrees outside at most and I have the AC set at 62 for 4 hours now but still not very cold. I like the hotel but I need to be able to get my room cold. And that s not happenening. It s early may, I should be able to get a cold room to sleep in. A/C running but not well. Don t book here in aummer

The Eldorado is connected to The Silver Legacy and Circus Circus.

Black Pearl Oyster bar was fabulous with great prices. Everyone in the casino were helpful, especially the Bar Tender near the sports bar. Make sure you go up stairs to the Silver Legacy

Just went in to get a beer for NYE. Seemed like a fine place. Bathroom smelled like sewage.

We went to NoVi to celebrate an engagement and we had a blast. The resort was clean and everyone was really chill.

Very smokey, lots of the machines were broken/closed, rude table manager, and just overall depressing atmosphere.

Hit the buffet only to find it was theme night. Sure would have been nice to know so we could have chosen where else to eat. Wasn't in the mood for all Italian. Should have been posted up somewhere.

Great place, friendly staff, and good food for it's price.

Had a really good time at the bar and casino. Good place to hang out, drinks and lose some money.

Super friendly staff and so many accommodations! Gamble, shop, eat, visit two other hotel/casinos without stepping outside.

No Table Games, No Cocktail Waitresses 99% of the time. Very "Cold", unwelcoming atmosphere

Came to Reno to spend some time away. I happened to wander into Eldorado with my friends and the atmosphere here was electric, definitely had a great time and worth coming to. The staff was super nice and helpful they were more than accommodating. All in all if you are looking to have a drink and good time at the tables or slots I highly recommend coming here.

Casino was great, clean. The only thing that I didn't like was how long the waitresses took to bring me my drink especially since the area was empty.

Had a security guard post up and watched me the whole time I played and no I wasn't intoxicated in any way.

The food from every place we are was excellent. A little pricey, but great!! The resort rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff service was excellent!!

Went in for some late night food. Service is always good, drinks are plentiful.

All machines were out of service and sitting in the middle of the casino

It was nice my only real issue was I had no idea the refrigerator was sensored so i open the door and stuff fell out and your auto chargred. They need to come up with a better plan in that regard.

So disappointed spent a lot of money to stay in a suite and play in the casino for 3 days. 1 I was given the wrong room had a view of the parking garage not what I paid for. Them maid came in at 1030 at night to shock to us both was moved to a different room had an awesome view of the air conditioners that where just on the other side of the window. Yes Windows that stretched across 2 full walls at least 40 ft each wall and nothing to look at. 1 side a.c. the other the building wow. Room was filthy there were French fries on the floor next to the bed . So disappointed voiced my complaints and not even hint of if they even cared no comps not even a drink ticket or even a sorry.. horrible
Room service was prompt and food was good. I wish I had my money back I would definitely done things differently. I spent thousands while I was there and nothing.

We enjoyed our time there room was clean and we had no issues.

It's ok place, it just to be better, no discounts to locals, unlike other casinos that give 20% discount to locals food not as good any more

It was an all around great experience. There is a server at the roxy's bar that is friendly and always happy to get a drink and pretzels when u ask. I think her name is Kirsten not to sure. AWESOME SERVICE :)

I didn't stay. Just passing through and though I would check it out. Pleasant walkthrough and look enjoyable.

The casino feels slightly dated but still is worth visiting. Now part of "The ROW", connected to the circus circus and Silver Legacy.

Stopped in at the Eldorado briefly to see what it had to offer. Very typical Reno casino with plenty of open machines and tables to play. Somewhat smoky inside but that's generally to be expected. Beautiful neon lighting signage.

Went to the Christmas dinner show and it was wonderful!

We had dinner at La Strada to celebrate 2 birthdays and service from Mike Verducci and his wait staff were excellent

Was staying at Silver Legacy. Eldorado just happens to be connected so I ate at one of their buffets.

Always have a good experience whilst visiting this establishment. Cashiers can be extremely rude and borderline aggressive but the overall experience is always enjoyable!

Bartender's were quick and excellent in serving drinks

Worst vacation of my life was spent at this hotel. If you arrive during the week and later in the day there is no where to eat. The deluxe room was sub-par and I had to call maintenance. Very little to do unless you drive quite a way. Horrible experience all together.

Love the big three casinos. Great food, games and shopping.

Open although with some restrictions due to the pandemic

Even though we didn't stay here our experience was very exciting and the buffet was awesome! Our next visit will be here.
