The casino was easy to find and not very crowded for a Sunday afternoon.
The casino was easy to find and not very crowded for a Sunday afternoon.
Visited the El Dorado for the BBQ, Brews, and Blues event. Had an amazing time, facilities and services for the event exceeded that of last year's event.
I can only say that the slot area was clean and covered with just enough machines but left enough room to walk around to find the right machine without running into people. Restrooms looked clean so that always good.
Its cool but you have to be careful it'll sux you dry
Quiet comfortable rooms...and lots of entertainment in casino!
We went for drinks at Roxy's nightclub. Had a good time. Good music and drinks
Mimi's 24 is a great 24 hour restraint! The desserts are amazing!
Older and in need of remodeling. But good location, comfortable beds and a Starbucks!
Horrible place to gamble, if you want to have a fun night I wouldn t come here. The dealer are so rude. I ask a question about craps and the guy snaps at me. Keep in mind it was only me and my friend at the table so it wasn t like I was holding the game up or anything. The other dealer was no better. My buddy started singing to a song that came on and she pretty much told him to shut up. He wasn t sing it out loud, just inside talking voice.
Wait time was long and the food was cold and under cooked.
It's kinda dated and run down. Silver Legacy looked better. I should have stayed there. The buffet was absolutely horrible at Eldorado. A friend of mine said they always stay at the GSR. They say it is by far the best place in Reno. I have not been there so I cannot verify that. If you're looking for an okay place, the Eldorado barely meets that.
The security guards were manner. The rooms were pfunct. The pool was autue. I enjoyed my stay.
Check-in line is always long here, and we seem to always get the room with the broken toilet, but the rooms aren't too expensive and are clean.
Very pleasant stay and had a good pricing special. Will stay there again.
One of the nicer casinos in Reno. Good food, fun bars, and connected to circus circus. Good place to go if you have the money to blow or spare.
Expensive to gamble there. Nice atmosphere but the cocktail server was a ghost throughout my 2 hours I spent there I wasn't even asked if I wanted a drink. Spent over $100 for nothing. Not even a offer. And when getting a players card I was treated like a criminal trying to commit a crime. I would not recommend this place
This is a old and not so great casino and hotel. Very small game room with nothing real special to bring you here.
On the other hand the restaurants here are really amazing and I highly recommend Roxy
The whole town feels like you're in the 70's..but this is a nice spot for sure.
Beautiful and comfortable is the Eldorado hotel. My boyfriend and stayed three days at the Eldorado hotel. When the reservation was made we requested a room with a King size bed and a view. We got the view but not the room with the King size bed. Upon check-in, we were told that the room was not available and we were given a room with two Queen size beds.
Our room's view was overlooking the National Bowling Stadium and the Reno Events Center. The room was clean with flat-screen TV, coffeemaker, a work station, and a sofa. There's a fully stocked refreshment center but it comes with a hefty price. The beds were decorated with bright red long throw pillows. The bathroom was clean as well but if you are over six feet tall, the water hits you in the stomach.
Parking and WiFi is free. The casino is 24 hours, and there is an all you can eat buffet on site and it has various delicious foods and desserts. There's a pool on the 5th and a fitness center.
Clean (but smokey) environment, fast survey for drinks.
If you have the option stay at the Eldorado but don't stay at the Silver Legacy as they mess up your reservations on concerts!!! Just saying!!!
Great hotel, longest line ever for the buffet on Friday and Saturday.
The El Dorado is our hotel of choice whenever we come to Reno. It's clean, comfortable, and generally well managed. The selection of restaurants is the best of the trio of connected hotels, including an Asian restaurant that has pretty decent pho. The location makes it very convenient, and there are some wonderful views from the rooms if you know how to choose wisely.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, and we've never had any major issues with any of our stays (and there have been probably 10+ at this point).
Millie's restaurant used to be our go-to place for a quick bite, however this last time, the food was abysmal. The clam chowder was gluey and flavorless, and my fish and chips were dry and overcooked. The fries, which should've been pretty easy to get right, we're hot but soggy and dry.
Pretty good layout on the floor, the high roller room with the hot tub was so so, there's an inescapable smell of cigarettes throughout the entire hotel, restaurants, and obviously the casino. I would stay here again if I had to go to Reno.
Sportsbook bartenders Max and Steve are awesome. Sarah and Missy are great too.
Cocktail waitress was no where to be found in the 2 hours I was there!!
Good atmosphere. Good people. Good food. Good card dealers.
I only stopped into the restaurant Brews Brothers but I was impressed by the casino.
Great poker room, always has a game going on at all hours.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet, though expensive, was good, and our room, with a hot tub in the living area, was fantastic. This was my third stay in a year and I'm sure I'll be back again.
The people working were real friendly the gaming floor had a lot of good options and the buffet was one of the best iv been to and the price was great
We went for drinks at Roxy's nightclub. Had a good time. Good music and drinks
I have eaten the buffet on several occasions and there food is one of the best buffet in town. It is always very presentable and clean. The waiter and waitresses are always very friendly. The only thing about Reno casino buffets they should do different is give a discount for either local or having there card. No complaints other than that
I stayed in for 4 nights are all friendly and cheap during Thanksgiving
Always an excellent casino to enjoy! We came for a birthday, and the person of honor actually learned craps here! The game attendants were fun and helpful, never made us feel like we were "raw beginners". Totally enjoyable.time, will return here again.
Did a Thursday night stay to watch Cirque Paris and enjoy the night. From start to finish the Eldorado provided a first class experience.
Parked in the covered parking garage and used the walkway over the street to get to hotel check-in. No dealing with lugging luggage through a casino. Quick, professional check-in. Elevators right there to take us up to the room. Uniformed security there to ensure we were authorized guests.
Room was clean... had a coffee pot and a fridge, we were good to go. We got the cheapest room possible so our view was of the hotels HVAC system, but you get what you pay for.
Went down and picked up our tickets for the show from the "will-call" window. With the tickets we got 50% off meals at vasrious restaurants throughout the property. We ate at Roxy's. Excellent service. The 12 oz ribeye was real good and my wife had the best baked salmon I've ever had in my life. Prices were good, a little lower than what one would expect at a casino, and with the half off....
Show was great. We enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it.
After the show we wandered around a bit, had a caricature sketch made of us upstairs at an extremely reasonable price and then enjoyed a couple of cocktails at a nice quiet bar upstairs before retiring for the night.
What makes The Eldorado the go to choice for my wife and I? All mentioned above. 1. I hate traipsing through casino's pulling my luggage along looking for the check-in desk for the hotel or heading to the elevators to go to our room. 2. The Eldorado is the least smoky casino in Reno.
We'll be back
Best hotel in downtown. Beautiful casino. My favorite place to stay. Everything about this place is beautiful and elegant
This hotel is hands down AMAZING! When you arrive take advantage of the vallet parking it's included in the stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. I paid for a room with a jacuzzi in the room and WOW, it was beautiful and so relaxing. We had a panaramic view, it was a room two floors from the top. Are view was outstanding! The blinds came down by switches on the wall. It was clean very clean, extremely comfortable beds,. Awesome casino and lots of restaurants to choose from with sky walks to other casino's to choose from. There were different shows and fireworks. We had such a great time I hated to leave. Also we ordered room service and it wasn't over priced and very delicious. We even had our luggage brought up to the room and they came and picked up the luggage when we checked out so we could enjoy our stay just as long as we wanted. I would give this hotel ten times the if I could. It's definitely top of the list.
I stayed for 5 days and ended up in 5 different rooms with no compensation
I got to say his place is awesome. I was asked if I needed a drink almost as soon as I sat down at a machine. I will be returning with more cash because this place is great.
Very nice, clean good food and drink. Slots pretty tight though .
