Had brownish water coming out of our taps on a weekend night. Left a message on the service line and got an immediate call back. Just had to flush my water lines, apparently EID serviced lines up the road and they stirred up "sediment"...
I can't believe no one sees the "The Big Wet Elephant!" When supply can no longer meet demand, its time for a new supply. It's past time to implement a serious plan for a new reservior. Its the only way to stop the bleeding. It's not as if they don't collect enough revenue? 2 stars because the reps have always been nice.... otherwise it would have been "no" stars!
Their online autopay system is a joke. They shut our water off without even sending a proper notice making sure that we know they are going to shut our water off. The reconnecting charge is $120. The lady works at billing department has really bad attitude. She hangs out on the customer.... They need a major change and improvement!
Awesome job during the PG&E power outage. Your communications (texts, emails, and calls) with updates was on point and greatly appreciated. PG&E could learn a few things from EID. Thank you.
The water rate is so much more then Elk Grove. Also they call you telling you to conserve water in the middle of a rainstorm because they are having a water emergency!!! Come on really....Why don't you tell us the real reason. All I can say is they suck
Online payment system if ridiculously bad, they still have not reduced water rates since hiking them up during the faux drought we supposedly experienced and they take forever to update records
El Dorado Irrigation District is the worst Utility I have ever had to deal with. Even worse than PGE which is saying something. They charge huge connect charges for water and sewer. I am paying $140 every 2 months for having water and sewer service before I even start using any water. These service charges are more than the cost of water that I use. I do not mind paying for what I use but being ripped off for simply being connected to water and sewer service is ridiculous. The only reason they can get away with this they are a monopoly. The entire management team needs to be removed.
Worst managed water company in the area. Rates are WAY above even neighboring areas.
Someone please explain to me how a person living alone could use an average of 625 gallons a day???? It's impossible. I have had 2 plumbers at my home as well as a rep from EID, agreed no leaks. Said just to try conserving more. I am conserving and this is my bill!! This is just wrong.
